As locals who live on the island, we’ve been to South Beach Grill before, but our recent visit was incredibly disappointing.
We started with a Caesar salad that never arrived. We had to remind our server after the entrées were brought out, and when the salad finally did come, it was drenched in dressing and completely inedible. We ate a bite each.

Great food and a friendly atmosphere! You have to stop when in the Wrightsville Beach Wilmington area!
I joined a couple of friends today for lunch on the patio at SBG. We shared the seafood nachos, and our entrees were a shrimp platter, an oyster platter and shrimp and grits. We're all local and seafood lovers and agreed that everything was perfectly prepared. The service was good and, as bonuses, we had free parking and waterviews. Thank you for a great afternoon!
