“In a tiny old Dentist office on Mission Avenue sits one of the best BBQ joints in the metro. Their food hearkens back to the brilliance of Amarillo BBQ, which closed many years back when the owner retired. It's Texas BBQ done right, so you won't get meat already sauced. But that meat will be perfect, whether it's pulled pork, brisket, turkey, or ribs. Really inventive and delicious sides too. Yes, the seating is cramped and limited. But that doesn't mean you can't find away to get some of the best meats in your belly pronto.“
“Great lunch spot! Service was quick and staff friendly. Food was great! We had the 1 meat plate with 2 sides. Pulled pork, brisket, cream cheese corn, potato salad, and cornbread. Large portions! And this was a CLEAN restaurant! Watched staff cleaning and they were thorough and careful.“
“If you to experience an amazing dining experience, I definitely recommend joining Tiffanie Haney and the rest of the amazing staff at this establishment! Tiffanie is hands down one of the best waitresses in the food service business, with 20+ years of experience! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic! As well as the rest of the staff! Food is absolutely amazing Guaranteed you'll want to come back for more!“
“The food was amazing just like her personality and just like the Rest that run the restaurant as well. I personally Met the owner Through My job Where I help her load her items and she invited me to her wonderful restaurant. My fiancé and I were blown away by the mac & cheese and cornbread. Everything down to the people were amazing. Jackie is the sweetest❤️“
“Can't tell me there is better BBQ in Omaha. If you try to l, then I'll know you haven't been here ?Kid-friendliness: Very friendly peopleWheelchair accessibility: Narrower entrance but accessible nonetheless and worth it for sure!!!“
“Got the cheese fries with pork. Very generous portion. The sauces were unique and quite good. They are vinegar forward and not like the sticky sweet kc BBQ that is more common here. I really enjoyed the Carolina mustard, which is unusual for me. Would like a sauce with some celery seed and a little more thickness, but all and all the uniqueness of the ones they had won me over. Mac and cheese was very good, a little smokey and not too heavy.“
“Everything at J's Smokehouse is great! I have been there probably a dozen times and order something different every time. The food is tasty and comes out fast. The dining area has plenty of space and the American Legion bar is a pleasant bonus. I have seen the owner on several occasions running food and checking in with his customers. 5 stars for sure!“
“Everything is excellent. I have never really liked turkey, but this turkey is perfect. Hard to choose a favorite from here.if I had to it would be a tie pulled pork sandwich and the turkey. This place is way better than the other bbq places in town.“
“First time having Pit BBQ. The pit rolls were a hit! We tried several differ t items on the menu, and have nothing bad to say. Good menu, friendly staff. It's always nice when you get takeout snd they actually ask if you need utensils, etc. so that was very nice.“
“I have never seen so much team work in a restaurant! I was in Awe when other servers were asking to refill my drinks and others. My server was great, and so were the other servers.. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place.. The Owners were helping our their team also, I just love that! The food was so tasty, I fell in love with their corn bread. The jalapeño popper grilled cheese was so good, the prime rib was salty but it was so good couldn't stop eating it.“
“Ken and his crew do a fantastic job. The meat is the best in Omaha--great steaks, sausages and deli meats of all kinds, excellent ground beef, and of course the bratwursts they are famous for. Their bacon is the best I have ever had.I shop here frequently--nearly every week. Once you experience superior meat products, you probably won't be able to go back.“
“I think this is some of the best food in Omaha. This was my second time visiting Sauced ny Alfaro. This time I got the special which was the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was absolutely perfection. The most amazing flavors. I loved the french fries-perfectly crispy and amazing flavor. We also got the fried cauliflower which is to die for. I highly recommend everyone visiting Sauced by Alfaro. Both times, we’ve taken our food over to Twisted Vine and enjoyed their atmosphere as well. The first time we played music bingo on a Thursday night and that was so so fun. I recommend this little area of greater Omaha!!“
“Extremely long wait for calling ahead to reserve a spot it was a busy Saturday evening. We did get a free coupon for an appetizer as well as several apologies from the manager for the wait. Food was delicious would recommend just maybe not on a Saturday night ??“
“It's always great food and service at the Texas RoadhouseKid-friendliness: Yes and they even get to ride the saddled horse for their birthday. My wife refused the opportunity to ride the horse but it was her birthday.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Man am I happy I searched for BBQ in Plattsmouth, NE! This is so darn good. I was drooling heavily smelling it on the trip home. They only do takeout at the moment, but treat yourself and get some awesome BBQ. This is better than any place in Omaha as well. Sauce is awesome. Beef tips had such great flavor. It’s a really solid gem in SE Nebraska.“
“Rather busy and loud, stuck to my headphones but that's good for buisness! Maybe invest in noise Dampening wall decor?Food was amazing, best steak I've had in years. Above and beyond.Service was wonderful, obviously busy but still polite and courteous.I like this restaurant, very happy dining here.“
“First the Good: probably the best Crab Rangoon in town! Perfect. I got shrimp egg fu yung, the shrimp were BIG and tasty. My wife ordered Beef&Broccoli w/ added veggies - veggies were perfectly cooked and beef was tender and flavorful.Next - stuff that wasn't to my liking, but might be to yours: the egg fu yung patties were very thick. I prefer thinner. The dipping sauce for potstickers was thickened - weird but tasty. Also, the sauce on both the egg fu yung and B&B were very very sweet. Finally - stuff that we didn't like: the hot & sour soup was over-thickened, no heat at all, and needed more vinegar. The pot stickers were totally forgettable. The fried rice side was very plain - no flavor.Overall - it was OK. I prefer more authentic styles of Chinese, but I recognize that in addition to "Szechuan", "Cantonese", "Mandarin" et.al, "American" is IMHO a valid category ;)The place was very clean, everyone was very friendly. It's very casual - paper cups, throw-away plates etc. If you prefer "American Style" chinese, fast, casual - this is a good spot for that. If you are looking for authentic traditional dishes - this place will not be for you. But definitely get the Crab Rangoon!“
