This is an update to my post from 2/29 regarding a negative experience with this establishment. Sunisha Hill, general manager of Kaiyo Sushi, reached out to me personally in hopes to fix the problem visit. She presented a heartfelt apology and thoughtfully & respectfully offered to right the wrong. She more than made it right. Food was amazing! I cannot wait to go back. The sushi was the best in the area; fresh! The waiters were attentive never letting my water get low. Very cute intimate spot; cannot wait to try the drinks next time I go

Food is great. Hard to be disappointed with the options and specials they have. Drinks are good. My old fashioned was perfect. The tempura brussel sprouts were surprisingly delicious. No need to look further if you’re in Bellevue looking for quality sushi or a decent meal overall. A perfect addition to the town.Kid-friendliness: You can bring your kids and it won’t be an issue. They have the right level of music to drown them out.
