My husband grabs from the sushi train so far loves it ?Also the owner is so nice! I called him out on having no hot tea as a joke and like 2 mins later he went and grabbed some hot jasmine from nearby for me. I'm so thankful and definitely a happy customer! “I was lucky to find a spot at the bar. Service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy. They had a nice sake selection. Great menu with lots of variety. The “Itchy Seabass” was amazing! Really liked the Godzilla Bomb. Seating inside and out with lots of space, and a cool decor. Definitely worth checking out.“
“I tried this Japanese food here for the first time, and the food was so good. I tried the lunch combo, which included tempura, sushi, rice, soup, and salad, and it was filling for one person. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere there was also good. I still miss the Japanese ambiance, but I absolutely love it and will definitely visit again someday. The location is on central Omaha, at the intersection of Dodge and 72nd, making it easily accessible. The price is also reasonable.“

The staff there are always kind and timely with orders, and the food is always delicious! Ive never once had a bad experience there and will continue to go here with my friends or by myself for as long as I am in Nebraska! “We went to Sakura for walk-in (no reservation) Hibachi on a Saturday night and only waited 20 minutes which was pretty great in our minds. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive even though it was clear they were short-handed. They did their best with what employees they had and we were grateful for that. Their cocktails were great and very reasonably priced. The hibachi food was excellent and we had plenty to take home for leftovers. There were several other entitled visitors who treated the staff very rudely due to delays, etc. This made us sad to see and want to make it clear that we felt treated very well despite short staffing.“

“The outside is deceiving to the inside. Once inside the atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable. The front counter staff are nice. The staff that take your order are OK. They don't check if you have questions after taking your written order, They just take it to the kitchen as is without making sure if we have questions. The staff that bring your order are nice. The food is very fresh. The place is clean and comfortable. It is completely worth the money. I will visit again.“

Both my wife and I had the egg drop soup, pork egg rolls and General Taos chicken. Ordered off the lunch menu and still had plenty of food, enough so we were able to take some home.“
