“Update: The owner made sure her employees understood ADA rights and we were able to go in, although the cashier prohibited my child with the dog from approaching the counter, and attempted to ask for his papers. Anyway, the ice cream was delicious, and the young man behind the ice cream was extremely friendly.

“The good, the food was excellent, the service was excellent. The atmosphere here is concrete and Formica. I think the entire inside including the table and chairs could be cleaned with a car wash power sprayer. The downside with that for me is one large open space with no privacy walls/booths, anything to block the sound of every table's conversation. Every chair that slid was like chalk on a blackboard. I had the T-Bone with green beans and rice and mushroom and onions on the meat, cooked to perfection and very good. Go for the quality food and service not for the atmosphere. Don't take a date there if you don't intend to hear every conversation and have everyone hear yours. I would go again.”

“We were lucky to be able to host a memorial luncheon for our grandma and it was a wonderful space to gather with friends and family and share memories and food! The food was wonderful, Teri and her crew were so friendly and kind. We will definitely be hosting here again!”

“This place is super cozy and they have really good whiskey. This was recommended to us by a restaurant down the street to have a couple of drinks before our reservation. Did not feel like a sports bar but felt like a speak easy. We did get to watch Colorado start to get their butts kicked before we ate though. My wife and I decided to drink next to the fire place and it was very comfortable.

“I tried Arizona Diamondback taco salad and it was big and taste was good. This is the first time I see sour cream like ketchup packet which was weird.
However taste was good and I definitely come again and try other items in the menu.

Another weird stuff was TV shows.. Divorce court and QBC on afternoon? On bar restaurant?”

“Kara remade a drink for me after the other scooters in town messed up my drink again. I called and asked if she could help and she was more than willing, apologetic and kind! More workers like this are needed! Ones who listen and care. She definitely deserves recognition for going above and beyond expectations. Thank you☺️”

“An establishment in Hastings with a lot of history behind it. You can read about it on the historical marker plaque in the parking lot. In addition to the history, this place has some of the best people you'll find and it all begins with the owner. B.J. is one of the greatest people out there and I was thrilled when the ownership transferred to him. He's taking this care of the place.”

“My first time at any Freddies. I wished I had taken some pics of the cheeseburger, chicken sandwich and chili cheese fries, because it all tasted better than it looked. The chili cheese fries was a glob, but it tasted fine. Freddies is higher quality food than most chain burger joints so I will go back someday.”

“We travel Nebraska often for work and personal and as a coffee addict we visit Starbucks often. Hastings Starbucks is my favorite Starbucks by far. The service is top notch, my drink always made correct, the staff are always bubbly and friendly, and I rarely have to wait. Thank you! Keep up the GREAT work!”

“The food was fresh and always adding more to the line. I believe it's the last buffet place left in Hastings. They stay on top of drinks making sure yours is always full. Decent price for after CoVid prices.

“It's a Jimmy Johns so a lot will be the same from every location so I'll stick to what makes it different: Staff are friendly and quick to make your offer. Lobby and bathrooms are spotless. Ingredients appear to be super fresh.

Parking: There's just street parking might be hard to find a close spot depending on the time of day.

Kid-friendliness: They have kid sized foods. I believe I saw a high chair.”
