“Dragon Cafe offers an extensive menu of both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. There are numerous salads, soups and appetizers to go either the main course options. Many items come in two sizes, for lunch or for dinner. There is a nice luncheon sushi discount as well on about a dozen popular rolls.Service is friendly but can become slow when they are short staffed, which was the case on my most recent lunchtime visit. The atmosphere is much more pleasant and relaxed than at most area Chinese storefront restaurants.I have always loved the food, which has been consistently good since they first opened maybe two decades ago. I like mixing it up between the Chinese and Japanese menu selections. There is something sure to please almost anyone on their menu.“

“We loved our meal here last weekend. We hit Happy Hour which was a nice surprise. The coconut crab soup was delish, the Rangoon were standard but yummy, the Roll with the Chimichurri was Great, totally different flavor profile but we wanted to try something we've never seen. The Thai lettuce wraps, also standard but very good version and the kids bento box combos were welcome, The raspberry sorbet and chocolate dessert was a perfect ending.Its nice to be happy with the money you spent on dining out....we will return next time we in town“
“I want to start by praising the chefs, The octopus sauce is Magnificent ? The sushi was amazing and the pork belly buns are to die for!!! [we def used the octopus sauce for everything, we loved it that much!] We sat on the bar and were able to see chefs in action and they are very clean and keep the kitchen very neat!. I loved that the menu was easy and enough options. The servers were very nice and kind, quick and efficient. The ambience was great, low lights, the colors of the restaurant were very well chosen. “Food is great. Hard to be disappointed with the options and specials they have. Drinks are good. My old fashioned was perfect. The tempura brussel sprouts were surprisingly delicious. No need to look further if you’re in Bellevue looking for quality sushi or a decent meal overall. A perfect addition to the town.Kid-friendliness: You can bring your kids and it won’t be an issue. “One of the better sushi places in Omaha, although it still can’t compare to Yoshitomo. They are particularly good at their sauces that come with the sushi rolls. However, the yellowtail sashimi I had today was extremely thin with 5 pieces for a whopping $16. California would never. They don’t give you as many pieces per sushi roll compared to on the coast either, and especially for the price, this is a let down. I honestly would not come back unless I want to be hungry after I finish the meal, or I want to be out over $100. I would rather wait for a flight to an ocean city. (But if you are vegetarian, their options are fantastic! Some of the best vegetarian rolls I’ve ever had)Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian, but their options are delicious.“
“I tried this Japanese food here for the first time, and the food was so good. I tried the lunch combo, which included tempura, sushi, rice, soup, and salad, and it was filling for one person. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere there was also good. I still miss the Japanese ambiance, but I absolutely love it and will definitely visit again someday. The location is on central Omaha, at the intersection of Dodge and 72nd, making it easily accessible. The price is also reasonable.“

“Hubby wanted to surprise me after a really bad day. My usual place is closed until dinner hours, so he brought me a California roll and an Alaskan roll from here, along with a miso soup. He kept scrutinizing my every bite. I paid no mind, and kept eating. I love the spicy fish inside the Alaskan roll so much! The rolls are very generous in size and super fresh. The miso soup was even more flavorful than my usual place. Hubby said the value was even better too! I'll definitely be a returning customer to try their specialty rolls. The kids loved seeing all the options glide by (the octopus salad and the desserts were their favorites to point out). “First time trying this and I liked the meal! The egg roll was great although I don't normally like them. The sweet chili sauce this came with was my favorite part! The orange chicken itself wasn't anything spectacular, I thought it could have used more flavor depth, but not a bad meal at all. It would have been nice to see a fried rice option on their menu as this rice was plain. If not, I would have loved soy sauce or extra orange sauce poured on it (I didn't ask so it's possibly they would do this).“

The staff there are always kind and timely with orders, and the food is always delicious! Ive never once had a bad experience there and will continue to go here with my friends or by myself for as long as I am in Nebraska! If you’re looking for consistently delicious food, quality service, kind staff, and cleanliness, this is 100% the place!! Also, order the Godzilla Roll, it will NOT disappoint and is always my go-to (especially if you like cooked rolls)!!“
