“It’s hard to find a Hibachi restaurant that allows you to make orders to go. I came across this restaurant (04/07/24) and decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Steak and Shrimp hibachi with fried rice & the Chicken hibachi with fried rice. Both came with veggies, salad(lettuce only) and soup. The food was really good and It was packaged very well. When I arrived my order was ready and all instructions followed. I’ll definitely be back!Parking: Free parking available“

“I love this place. I used to live in Blue Springs, MO and there was one just down the road from us. My 5yr old son thinks it's so cool to watch them make it right in front of you. I love the variety of flavors and fresh ingredients. Definitely recommended for ice cream lovers.“

“Now I understand why people line up just to get this ice cream . I never had earth shattering ice cream before but this is ok. As for local i e cream shop, i tasted ted and wally; and ecreamry so fat. This one is a third one. If i have to pick the best in nebraska? Coneflower win easily. But like i said its not earth shattering taste wise so im sure if you go to other state , it will be much better. If i have to sum it up, ted wally is too sweet but big portion. Ecreamy is bland and not exciting, its edible but now making me want to come back , oh and employees doesnt want to serve you lol.As for coneflower, The only thing i dont like is how small the scoop is . Over all everything is just the right amount of sweetness, not to much that you cant finish it all.I had lavender and tart cherry together with waffle cone. Its truly is a good combo.“

“Food is fresh and delicious ! Our server Elliot was so attentive and knowledgeable! Great PR from Jay we ordered the tempura appetizer with shrimp and vegetables we weren’t familiar with one of the vegetables and inquired what it was Jay asked if we cared for it told him we preferred the onion rings but Everything was delicious. Five minutes later here he comes with two fresh onion rings for us! Now that’s great customer relations!!!“

“The best sushi I've had EVER and can't believe it's in Omaha. Everything was amazing, so I couldn't pick a favorite , but it was unbelievable. A MUST is the Hama toast. It was so good we ordered one for dessert you will thank me later. Service was just as good as the meal. The waitress was very friendly and went over the menu with us since we never been before. Ambiance : the restaurant is pretty small, but very clean and loved the colors they chose. It made the restaurant feel very current and set the mood for our meal. Reservations are a must and I would suggest booking weeks out in advance for a table.“

“My wife and I were in town for the "Beyond Van Gogh" exhibit at the Mid-America Center. Afterward, we looked up restaurants near us and chose La Sierra because several reviews mentioned authentic cuisine. We were not misled. The menu is small and straight forward. Pick your fillings and choose it in either a gordita, burrito, quesadilla or on a plate. We both got selections as gorditas. My wife ordered: Asado De Puerco, Picadillo Verde and Picadillo Rojo. I ordered: Papas Con Carne, Papas Con Chorizo and Deshabrada. I also wound up getting a burrito with Machaca. All the meats were seasoned nicely and delicious. Both the verde and rojo salsas they brought out enhanced the food. The rojo does have a kick (same sauce as in the Desshbrada) but the heat didn't linger so eating it was enjoyable. The margarita I ordered was delicious, made with real lime juice. Some people might complain because it is regular sized, served in a glass roughly the size of a martini glass. It isn't a gigantic gimmick you find in a lot of American-Mexican restaurants. It hit the spot! The fruit empanadas were lovely, the crust similar to a sugar cookie with strawberry or apricot. We tried both and thought the apricot won by a hair. Its sweet flavor was slightly stronger than the strawberry. The service was excellent, both our server and the gentleman from the kitchen (maybe owner) who brought out food to the table were extremely friendly and a pleasure to speak with. We've marked La Sierra in our "must do again" list and when we care back in Omaha, we will be stopping in.“

“The negima and buta were delicious! The chasu buns had too much sauce that overwhelmed the whole dish and the Omaha Crunch Roll was fine.I was surprised at how many items were unavailable since it required a reservation to get in. The service is unenthusiastic but not bad. Overall could be better but nothing was glaringly bad.“

“I have been enjoying Indian food for half my life and this was the most flavorful and robust that I’ve had! My mom’s Chicken Tikka Masala had incredible depth to it. My Saag Paneer was amazing too! Was able to enjoy dessert and it was phenomenal as well. The atmosphere was also incredible! The chef walked around and checked on each table as well which was kind and unexpected these days. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy their gorgeous patio sometime!“

“Delicious Ethopian food!!! This is a very special place to enjoy friends and food. You can choose to have mild, medium, or spicy flavor. I recommend the combination plater and add a meat selection. Tibs and Gored Gored are two of our favorites. Every dish is served with traditional injera bread. You use the injera bread to pick up each delicious bite. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. They prepare a wonderful spiced hot tea or provide canned sodas. The owners are really friendly, and their pride is reflected in the food and service.“

“Right when you walk in, you are greeted with lots of colorful mugs and merch to your right. The barista was super friendly and service was super quick! I got the iced caramel latte and my boyfriend got the brown sugar shaken. I LOVED both. The caramel latte was much more sweet and creamy. While the brown sugar shaken had more espresso flavor. I really love how everything there is vegan and how you can get their cute glass jars! If you buy a glass jar for $2 and bring it back for them to put your drink in, you get $2 off! Even with buying both our glass jars along with two drinks, it was less expensive than Starbucks. I love how they are making an effort to prevent waste by utilizing the glass jars. I can't wait to come back and try another drink soon!“

“First time having tasty pizza last night. We’ve been trying different pizza places around Omaha and this one was a big hit with the family. Very affordable for a big family of 6 and the pizza was amazing. My kids and I went to pick up the pizza and the restaurant was extremely clean and such a nice little place. Next time we will definitely stay to eat instead of ordering out. I highly recommend trying tasty’s if you haven’t.“

“We went for dinner. We were surprised by the bean dip that came with the salsa. Both were delicious! We shared the amazing tasty house margarita. We also had the Queso Fundido as it has chorizo which makes everything better. Both the flour and corn tortillas that it came with were delicious. I was full by this time but I still got the Tacos Supremo. It was HUGE. It is spicy. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My husband had the trio platter, also HUGE portion, with crispy Chile rellano, beef and pork. Absolutely delicious and perfect. The salsa verde is very good. Service was top notch. We have found our new Mexican food restaurant!“

“Hardy's has vegan options. This is why I am a customer. Their vegan items are quite yummy. I'm giving 5 stars because I like what's vegan, the shop is a nice place to be, and the staff always behaves pleasantly. However, this review will include an important complaint that will hopefully help owners understand the seriousness of VEGANISM to their vegan customers. Whenever I order the vegan burrito in person, I'm always asked by staff if I want sour cream with it, to which I always reply, "no, sour cream isn't vegan." There is, of course, vegan sour cream, and Hardy's doesn't carry any. I ordered doordash, and the sour cream came in the bag. On the app, I didn't have an option to reject the non-vegan topping. To be vegan is to boycott all products that come from animal use.Having a non-vegan item included with a vegan order as default is a display of ignorance. Can I trust that the other things they SAY are vegan actually are? Do not call something 'vegan' on your menu if the whole order is not. Dairy items should never be volunteered to those not asking for it. Cow products are not positive for many reasons: antibiotic resistance, animal exploitation, environmental damage, etc. Consider those who are lactose intolerant. That's an allergy! In addition, it's important to connect with loss of business for limiting the vegan options. You know this to be true already based on the success of the brownie—which is always vegan. Vegans only choose animal-free foods—with no exceptions. If someone says they're vegan but they partake in non-vegan action periodically, they don't understand what the Philosophy of Veganism is. It is not merely a diet, it's an ethical way of living that boycotts all animal use, all the time, as far as possible. Now, pre-vegans DO eat vegan food. For example, I love poppyseed muffins. There are delicious vegan poppyseed muffins I buy at Whole Foods. I wouldn't cheat on my ethical standards just because I want a poppyseed muffin, I'm at Hardy's, and I don't want to make the drive to Whole Foods. I choose the vegan option instead, whatever flavor it may be. Boycotting the use of animals is more important than my taste preference for a POPPYSEED PASTRY, and the vegan option is delicious anyway. In reverse, pre-vegans aren't boycotting items ABSENT of cow's milk, chicken's eggs, honey, and anything else from an animal. Pre-vegans are who mostly buy that vegan brownie, and I doubt the majority of them even notice the LACK OF dairy, honey, and egg in it. I can't even tell a vegan pastry is vegan based on taste alone, because cow's milk and chicken's egg isn't what makes baked goods taste how they do. The plant ingredients bring them to life. If I was lied to, and told something was vegan when it wasn't, how would I know? The flavor profile isn't much different. You can't actually detect those ingredients in baked goods without a superhuman palate. What's the point of making any pastry non-vegan anymore? Animal ingredients are outdated. I also love cinnamon rolls. They are non-vegan most of the week, but on Friday and/or Saturday I can sometimes get a vegan cinnamon roll from Hardy's! Why are they not vegan all week? When desired vegan option is unavailable, vegans will leave and go elsewhere, or make it themselves. Lost business. I've gone in before for coffee and pastry when all vegan options were sold out, so I bought coffee only. If all non-vegan pastries were sold out and a pre-vegan came in for the same purpose, with their coffee they'd get a vegan pastry. No loss. By not making all pastries vegan and having default condiments for everyone be vegan, the result is lost business and waste. Aside from the ethical reasons to be vegan, I also understand that animal foods are detrimental to human health (Book: How Not To Die by Micheal Greger, MD). That cow sour cream went right down my garbage disposal. If y'all made your poppyseed m“

“Great service, happy employees and they show it. It is a very busy place Saturday mornings. The line was out in the street so we pulled around back and walked in. It's a very cute, warm little coffee shop with donuts, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast bars, cookies, coffee and syrups to buy and take home. They had flowers for sale too for Mother's Day. They have many employees so they keep the line moving! I had an iced caramel latte and it hit the spot! Creamy and cold! They have a cute patio too, I forgot to take a pic. I'll bet there is one on here somewhere. Enjoy!“

“This was next door to Lisa Radial Cafe, so of course, after lunch, I needed dessert. Mind you, I do research all the places I stop, and reviews do mean a lot to me. If I see the review, I'm wrong, I will correct them. This bakery is a small bakery, but the desserts are so darn yummy and not your usual ones. Their scones are gigantic with yummy flavors. My choice was a Raspberry scone. Of course, I couldn't stop there, ha ha. I also selected several cherry pie bars. They looked so good, and it's one of my favorite flavors. Then, I hope I get this right a tahini Butterscotch bar and a strawberry cheesecake bar. The cherry pie bar was so tasty, the crust melts in your mouth along with the struesel flavor, not to mention perfect cherry pie filling. Can't wait to taste the others. Again, I live to support locally owned businesses, and its something we all need to do for our communities so we don't lose them. Nebraska people, if you haven't tried this bakery, get off your duff and visit it, you don't realize what you're missing. The review was spot on, kudos for leading me to this bakery.Update: The cherry pie bar is scumptous as the fruit is perfect flavor, not too sweet, perfect, along with the crust being flaky and oh so flavorful .Now, the Tahini Butterscotch bar is my new favorite, as the tahini and Butterscotch together are so delightful that it melts in your mouth its so perfect tasting along with the crust just compliments them both. Thank you for the new flavor profile for me as I love Butterscotch, but now I must have it with Tahini. Oh, so delicious & tasty ?More to come on my Raspberry Scone when I have breakfast tomorrow“

“Came downtown for a day date with my husband. Stopped at Hardy's Coffee first thing in the morning. Good service and coffee. Loved the environment and design. It is spacious with lots of tables. “Appreciate them accommodating gluten allergy eaters. Food is great and the only thing I would like to see them change is an Impossible burger offering. They could upcharge for the substitution, but it's really the least they could. They clearly do care since they are offering a zero waste station. This would fall in line with that mission.Dietary restrictions: Offer gluten free“

“Today my wife and I tried R.U.B for the first time and we will definitely be back! We both had chicken platters which came with two generous pieces of chicken that you, as the customer, get to select accompanied by three sides. I tried the black beans, rice, and cucumber salad and all were good! Next time I may skip the rice and try another side because I definitely don’t want to pass on the beans and cucumber salad…they were both so delicious! The chicken was PHENOMENAL, so juicy, tender and flavorful! The skin is where it’s at as it acts as the vessel for all of the delicious herbs and spices. We also purchased all of the sauces to try aside from the BBQ, only because that’s not our jam, and they were really solid! I really enjoyed the medium and macha salsa! The habanero was spicy (as it should be) and paired well with a bite of chicken, rice, and beans, it also tasted good as a drizzle on top of the cucumber salad! The restaurant was clean and inviting, all of the food looked well made and fresh, and the staff was very helpful and friendly! What really made our experience over the top was having the owner & manager Carlos come over and chat with us about our food and visit to the restaurant. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable on his products. Yes, it’s more of a fast casual concept than his other venues but it makes for a great place to grab something a bit lighter and healthier either on the go or for a quick sit down meal. The price was appropriate for the quantity and quality of food you receive. We hope R.U.B continues to pick up business and support from the Omaha community as it is a one-of-a kind concept! Give R.U.B a try- you won’t regret it!“

“Simply Superb! An authentic taste of the French Quarter right here in Omaha! There’s not a bad dish on the menu, but I especially recommend opening with the Artichoke Crab Dip and the Shrimp Cocktail. Then dive into the Étouffée which boasts generous portions of crawfish on rice with a deliciously spiced creamy cajun sauce. Get a side of bread with this one to fully enjoy all it has to offer. If you’ve got a big appetite, add-on an order of Red Beans & Rice for another taste of a staple creole dish. Also, put a little spin on all of it with their assortment of house made hot sauces, each of which were uniquely packed with flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience brought by friendly staff and exceptional chefs all who left no detail unattended. “This place was recommended to try and now I have to do the same.Their Pad Thai is a definite have to try on your first visit, but I would also say their Drunken Noddles is my favorite dish. They score their spice level on a 1 to 10, and unlike some places I've been it has a smooth increase rather than a high jump around 4.I really liked the atmosphere and the service was excellent.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options for almost every dish.“
