“This place is a two decade, staple for my wife and I. Although we haven’t lived in Omaha for over eight years, we return and enjoy this place whenever possible. Last night we had another incredible and memorable meal here with great service in the low light, low ceiling, Intimate atmosphere of this nooked-in French-influenced restaurant. Every portion of our meal was amazing, and it may seem unfair to say, but although we spent quite a bit of money on this meal, the six dollar bread service might’ve been the best part of the whole thing. The goat, fat, infused, perfectly crusted and warm bread withsalted butter would push me right into a diabetic coma if it was more relatively available. The Wagyu beef with their famous brandy peppercorn sauce remains one of the best steaks for my pallet anywhere in the country. We will continue to return.“

“A wonderful place to eat. We all had the fried ice cream and it was delicious. The wait staff is very pleasant. The actual food is terrific, I had to deep fried mushrooms and they were spectacular. Others at my table had the onion rings, the burgers, and the chicken tenders. Everybody enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend Stella's.Parking: Great handicap parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes wheelchair accessible.“

“#SupportLocal. I've seen some high reviews on the Nextdoor app., and so I wanted to find out for myself. Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries...the food was delish. Pricing was more than reasonable. I'm looking forward to trying out their breakfast menu tomorrow morning. I definitely recommend this place. Good vibe and friendly owner.“

“What a fun addition to Downtown Omaha! Memoir is hip, modern, and swanky all wrapped into one gorgeous restaurant. Even better than the design and decorations is their food. With a diverse and sophisticated menu everything from drinks to appetizers to entrees and beyond is delicious. The Memoir Dip au Jus was tender delicious and quite possibly the best one we have had. Their pasta and potatoes puffs were excellent and full of flavor. You cannot go wrong with anything you choose. Our waitress, Tammy, was excellent and quick to give us some great recommendations. All the staff was delightful and made us feel welcomed! I had heard that this is some of the best food in Omaha and I couldn't agree more!“

“Mushroom bake and cheesecake were outstanding. Paid over $100 for a bone in ribeye and it was raw in the middle portion near the bone. Not sure if it's because they only broil their steaks and can't get the interior warm before the outside burns but I expected better preparation for the cost. Still a good cut of meat.“

“Exceptionally accommodating, great food, and great service! They were able to host a spur of the whim table of 12 despite being busy with smiles on their faces and they food came out promptly and was excellent. We would not hesitate to come back if in Omaha.“

“Head Chef/Owner Anthony Kueper has set the bar high for other Omaha restaurants. His food is flavorful and unique. Chef Anthony has clearly honed his craft and deserves all the praise that can be mustered. Prices are excellent considering the quality of food and service. The unimposing facade of the building doesn't prepare you for the quaint elegance inside. You will not be disappointed with your experience here, regardless of which menu item you select. You really can't go wrong letting Chef surprise you with his tasting menu, either.“

“Had asked for some recommendations on the best wings in town and was told to check it out here. Amazingly enough, they were correct and the wings were amazing. The fries were some of the best we have had in some time. Save your money and don't do the lettuce wraps as they had no favoring along with little to no chicken in them. It was a busy night and with one large table, you couldn't hear anything when they were talking, but thankfully, as soon as they left, we could talk without screaming at each other. Sadly, our server didn't appear to be happy with our table as she continued to check on the table next to ours and completely forgot about us until it was time to give us the check. The other younger server not only brought us out our food but also got us refills as our lady didn't came back. Will be back and make sure we are in the other servers table next time.“

“I went here with a co-working friend before the change in ownership. Personally, I liked the aesthetic before the change. It is definitely 'nicer looking' now but ...Anyway, great food with kind, attentive staff to prepare and serve it. No reason not to enjoy the place.Dietary restrictions: My body doesn't like dairy products but SMALL quantities don't cause problems. I was able to get taz on the side“

“Can’t say enough good things about The Boiler Room! Such a beautiful, intimate environment with the friendliest servers and unbelievably talented staff. The presentation of each plate is like a piece of art. The chef and team’s food is some of the most mouthwatering, flavorful food you will ever eat!! Definitely a hidden gem in downtown Omaha. Can’t wait to go back again!!“

“I've been trying to find a decent weekend breakfast spot and it's been really mediocre at the last several places I've tried. There was a large birthday party happening when I got here but the staff were very friendly, accommodating, and didn't forget about the guy eating by himself in the back corner while it was super busy. I will be recommending this place and bringing people to come eat with me here. I live up north and was not expecting this to be my new place but not only do I live close but they did a great job. 10/10 would recommend.“
“The most delicious chicken wings I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously, their buffalo wings had us licking our fingers—the wings are fresh and tender, practically falling off the bone. So juicy and flavorful. And the sauce was incredible. The best chicken wings I’ve ever had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“The atmosphere is amazing here, it's beautiful on the inside and has wonderful beautiful people who work there! EVERYTHING on the menu is DELICIOUS! I especially enjoyed the beautiful Starry Night cocktail, others in our group loves the orange julius cocktail and creme brulee martini. The crab and artichoke dip starter was so delicious and I could easily go here for that alone! The Argentinan Pork was delicious as well! Amazing flavor! We were so full we didn't try any desserts but the dinner and drinks were wonderful! We appreciate the staff being so accommodating, and loved the surprise photo bomb in one of our group photos:) this place is definitely a hidden ✨ gem ✨“

“I don’t ever give reviews but I just needed to for this place. It was absolutely amazing. I’m not from the area but it’s a place that I’ve never been to before. Everything is very fresh as well as displayed on the menu, the inside is decorated very well, every worker in there is very friendly, and of course the food is great. This is somewhere where I wish we could have in my own community!“

“My husband and I were staying at the hotel Peregrine for a night on our way back to Chicago and decided to order dinner from Block 16. As much as I WANTED to order a sandwich because they all sounded phenomenal, I knew I didn’t want anything too heavy and went with a salmon salad. I thought I was going to regret it (because the sandwiches were SO tempting) but it was fantastic. They really cook the salmon to perfection and were generous with it which was SO appreciated. For context, in Chicago I’ve paid $7 for half of the amount of salmon. My husband got the burger and he loved it (and of course I had a bite - it was great). We agreed it didn’t need the ketchup or mustard and just the fry sauce on it would be perfect, but it was delish. We also got the fun fries (the ones with short rib) and those were a 10/10.We took it to go because we had our pup with us but the staff was thoughtful to add all the sauces and utensils we’d need since we weren’t eating in. All in all it was a great choice and if you’re looking for a delicious and casual bite you should def eat here.“

“Delicious food and excellent service! We came as a group for dinner on a Monday and were seated immediately. There is a large selection of local, domestic, and international beer, and I really enjoyed the raspberry seltzer - it was delicious! For food, highly recommend the Cobblestone salad! I ordered my steak medium and it was perfect!Very large portion and I ate about half of my food. One entree plus a drink cost about $35 with taxes and tips. Not the cheapest in town but the quality and quantity of food are both great!Highly recommend!“

“Glad to have found this breakfast spot. Housed in a mid century meets diner decor it has a nice mix of counter and booth seating. The wait staff is attentive and efficient at keeping the orders coming while keeping your coffee filled. The food is great - we've been in a couple of times now and everything has been delicious and enough for a sizable take home box. If you enjoy quality food in an authentic locally owned setting, this is something to try.“

“The staff, especially Shadow up at karaoke, kills it, every single weekend. They’re friendly, personal, and work extremely hard to make everyone feel welcomed! “This was my first time trying Sage and I was absolutely blown away by the 9-course meal!! The service was excellent and personable, yet still the stand-offish vibe you would expect at a fine dining establishment. Daniel our server did an excellent job, as did the other staff we interacted with. Each course tasted great, but our tables' favorites were the bread with a green-colored butter spread. scallop, king mushrooms, and lemon truffle desserts. If I came back during this menu I would order more of these a la cart! But if I come another time I will absolutely go for another 9 courses as this was an amazing experience to try so many new and delicious food pairings. I love the fact that your tips go toward the students' dining/learning experiences. Also love that the chefs names are featured in their menu! Such a unique and heart warming dinner. We arrived a little after 7:30 and left just before 10. We weren't waiting very long on any of the food, but a 9-course dinner takes time! 100% worth the cost. I will keep this place in mind for any future special occasions!“

“Love the Thai veggie salad here. The Mantra burger is not a slouch either, have it with the homemade chips. We have been here several times and only one time has it been inconsistent. The special menu has a pork chop that my husband likes, with raspberry sauce. The menu does not show a blueberry lemon layered cake, that is absolutely delicious so ask that! Always able to provide the Smokey drinks that is a craving of my bff..“

“What a great find! A buddy and I ate breakfast at Bailey’s recently and it was fantastic. The wait staff was more than pleasant, the food was homemade and the meats were all smoked in-house. We will return. I’m now a determined missionary for Bailey’s!“

“A little disappointing. The server was inattentive, did not refill the drinks, and never asked how the food was. It was an early lunch so the restaurant was not busy. The fresh fish (mahi mahi blackened) was solid. The portion size was a little small for the price. However, the fish was moderately fresh tasting, cooked well, and tasty. The salad that came with the meal was good. Fresh, crisp lettuce with some really zesty, homemade Italian dressing. Overall, I expected much more. It was five star pricing for 4 star food and 2 star service.“

“Taxis is one of those few places I would say its a "must go". When you see Bar and Grille it isn't what you are truly thinking. When you walk in its very nice, homie, clean, and almost would call it fancy. I had the dijon, garlic shrimp as an appetizer and it was probably the best shrimp I have ever had. I had the French Dip. hands down the BEST French dip in Omaha. The au jus alone is worth the trip but you add on how good the meat was cooked, the mushrooms being tender and the onions being perfectly done I would recommend this to anyone who will listen. To top it off their martini selections are unique but they are also so delicious. Try the Salted nut roll, you wont regret it!“

“The restaurant had an overwhelming smoke smell. Much worse than the old building. I won't go back for that reason alone. My filet was cooked medium rare as requested but the char on the outside was not appetizing. I've not had that done to my steak at Charlestons before and I've been a customer for several years. Our service was exceptional!!“

“Look...this is an old school, been serving ice cream since the 50s, milk came from the cow across the street and grandma turned it into cream to serve everybody ice cream type of place. “Would give 5 stars, but I felt a little unwelcome, to be honest. We are a family of 6. Four children, one of them is a tot and the other an infant, so we have 4 kids in tow. Fantastic breakfast...we never go out to eat, but we were excited to go here bc we had heard such good things. Again, great meal. Nice waitress. Very attentive, very timely in service. There is a man though, a bald man, who just didn't seem like he liked us very much, lol. Not friendly, and all I could think was maybe he just gets annoyed at families coming in with small children?? No clue, but it kind of hurt my feelings the way he acted really. And makes me not want to go back to that particular location. It's right across the way from the hotel we're staying at, so that would be convenient, but I don't want to back and feel like we're an annoyance bc we have small children? I guess that's what it is? He seemed nice enough to others, so thats why I assume that maybe it's bc we have kids. But anyways, it was unfortunate bc we loved the service and the food otherwise.“

“First rate food, reasonably priced. I like their burgers because they are well prepared and rationally sized. Old school in the best sense. No silliness, just simple quality. Really can't go wrong. “Surprisingly good time! I’ve never been here before. We didn’t eat anything, rather enjoyed a couple beers at the bar. It must have been karaoke night. It was the perfect mix of music level and fun! “I think this is some of the best food in Omaha. This was my second time visiting Sauced ny Alfaro. This time I got the special which was the hot honey chicken sandwich and it was absolutely perfection. The most amazing flavors. I loved the french fries-perfectly crispy and amazing flavor. We also got the fried cauliflower which is to die for. I highly recommend everyone visiting Sauced by Alfaro. Both times, we’ve taken our food over to Twisted Vine and enjoyed their atmosphere as well. The first time we played music bingo on a Thursday night and that was so so fun. I recommend this little area of greater Omaha!!“

“This is my go-to when I'm on the road going to my destination. The reason is the food is usually pretty good & I can bring Skippy in with no problem. Big shout out to Alexa, my server. She was warm & welcoming to us both. My complaint would be the country Fried Steak is tough & the breading doesn't stay on it. The mashed potato & and gravy, along with the southern style green beans, were ok. The potatoes could be creamier & the green beans were a little sweet. The only reason I am being honest is that my best friend helped open up quite a few of these chain restaurants. They used to be really good, but the quality of the food is slipping. I hope they look into it before we lose them. Overall, compared to a lot of chains, this one is still worth stopping by.“

“Great home made breakfasts and lunch. Friendly staff and the ambience is really fun. It is situated in a quiet South Omaha neighborhood. It sits in an old drug store and extends into a next door building that was once a theater, very cool. Burgers naturally are good. Home made corned beef hash is worth a trip across town. “The service was amazing. There were nine in our party and none of us had eaten here so it took a while to order but the person taking our order (at the counter) answered our questions and patiently waited for each of us to order. There was no one eating there when we first arrived around 9:15am but there was a wait by the time we left. There are not too many seats to dine in. I recommend the French toast that came with a nut butter syrup and some honey. The frittata with a side salad was so big that only half was eaten but maybe it was because the coffee cake that was also ordered was gone before the frittata came out. The chili tasted good and is also recommended. The meatloaf sandwich wasn't well liked. One said it tasted burnt and another said it was dry. The sweet potato and lentil sandwich was different. I don't think I'll get it again since I don't love lentils but I do recommend it if you like sweet potatoes and lentils. They do have a kids menu of grilled cheese and a few other items. One of the kids ordered a grilled cheese and the tomato soup from the regular menu but only the grilled cheese sandwich was brought out so I am not sure if the soup was missing or if he thought we wanted a kids grilled cheese (we mentioned we ordered the grilled cheese and soup so they brought out a cup of soup). Either way the soup and the sandwich were good. The vanilla creme soda and the White Elm Czech Pilsner were good that we almost asked for another to go. There was lots of street parking around when we left. We paid $2 for two hours of parking but one hour is probably enough. We interacted with several of the staff and they were all very pleasant. I love how the owners support local farmers too.“
