“Enjoyed a nice dinner here while staying at a local AirBnB. Nice atmosphere, welcoming staff. I had a very good "hot chicken" sandwich, nice accompaniments and good roll. Great steak fries. My wife had a very good black bean burger, not mushy like they can be sometimes. Also good bun and steak fries. Nice selection if draft beers, recommend the "Stoneface" IPA. Prices were very reasonable, especially compared with Boston area. We'll definitely return when we are back .“

“I had not been to Dockside in nearly 2 years....I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality, portion size, service & atmosphere. To be perfectly honest, my prior experience was not terribly memorable, so I had not returned. I hope that my most recent visit represents the "new normal" because it was awesome !!!“

“Sadly I do not live any where near Wolfeboro so I've never had the pleasure of eating their meals or shopping in their market.However,I have friends who have gotten their sheet pan dinners and raved about them! I have had an amazing interaction by phone with the owner,Liz,whom I am so impressed with.There was a death of a friend of mine in Wolfeboro and since I had heard such great things about LaBoca I called them and she immediately put together a very generous and beautiful basket together,filled out a sympathy card for me and will deliver it the very same day! She was a joy to work with! There gift cards are such a great way to surprise people with beautiful baskets or delicious meals!! “Incredible baked haddock preparation for me and lobster BLT for my hubby. Attentive quick service over the lunch hour and pleasant employees to boot. Location is off the tourist district and sits on the back bay so it’s still a picturesque setting. The ambiance is relaxed and very casual so don’t expect that you need to get fancy here…. We tried to return for dinner, but the wait was extended…unfortunately that seems to be a challenge for Wolfeborough restaurants in general. This restaurant is well run and a delight. We will definitely return!“

“My wife and I stopped by Johnson's Marketplace not knowing anything about it, we were greeted by a very employee (early Sunday morning)we just wanted a simple breakfast sandwich, while he was on the grill we had a chance to look around I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness and the organization of all of the displays of fresh cut meats and seafood followed by a large display soda, beer ,wine. Buy the way my sauge ,cheese,egg and hard roll was over the top.“

“We were happy to find a place that had buck a shuck oysters close to home. The atmosphere is perfect. Cozy, classy, with a wide open view of the lake. The cocktails were amazing. Absolutely perfect. We didn't try much of the menu because we were gorging on oysters and tacos, but will be back soon to try the rest! Not sure how we missed this unassuming space. We've lived down the road for 20 years.“

“Always had the best Chinese food. We had tried other area restaurants after they were closed due to the kitchen fire but no one compared and we even had to travel well out of Wolfeboro to retrieve the carry out orders.We have been down to the Virgin Islands since July and are very much looking forward to getting some Seabird when we are back in the states next month!“

“First time visiting. Food was very good. Attentive and accommodating waitstaff.It averaged $50 per person with tax and tip, which included an app, mixed drinks, entrees and dessert. You can do it for less depending on your preferences. We sat outside. It had a steady line of customers. I thought it was worth the trip.“

“We had the clam strip & chicken tender two-way combo. The chicken tenders were great, no breading, just chicken meat dredged in flour & fried. The clam strips were a little too breaded for my taste but were decent. There was a good amount of both clams and chicken tenders. My friend had the banana cream pie milkshake and apparently went to milkshake heaven because she could not stop raving and rolling her eyes it's a good thing we weren't driving. Banana cream pie flavored ice cream, whipped cream swirl, and Nilla Wafer pieces. If you like that kind of thing, I suggest you try it.“
