“Brought my foreign exchange student to the planetarium in Concord. Needed something to eat, that we would both enjoy, and this was the first place that came up. I am so very, very happy we decided to try Buba!!! You open the door and your mouth starts watering from the smells“
“This is not a tapas restaurant. It’s a restaurant with a small menu, with a lot of appetizers and a few entrees, but if you’re looking for a tapas place in the traditional sense, this isn’t it.With that said, their small appetizer menu is pretty good. Four of us came in a Saturday night and got right in without a reservation. The decor is sort of “fancy rustic”. You seat yourself, so if you go, don’t stand at the stairs awkwardly waiting for someone to come like we did.We ordered a couple of martinis, and some of their appetizers. We tried the steak lettuce wraps, the spinach and feta empanadas, the bruschetta, Mac and cheese and a few more. Everything was really good, but the standouts for me were the bruschetta, the lettuce wraps and the French spring rolls. The Mac and cheese needed a sauce, and the fiesta dip needed a better proportion of chips to dip.Service was really good. I tried the blueberry lemonade and the lemon rosemary martinis. The blueberry martini did not have any muddled blueberries and was a little too sweet for me, but the rosemary martini was perfect. When all is said and done, I would definitely return.Kid-friendliness: This is not a place for childrenWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible“
“This place is so great! It was my first time there, and I did a tasting. Rich (who I believe to be an owner) gave the tasting and was knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. The selection of wine was wonderful, and I ended up purchasing one that I sampled in the tasting. (Side note: the tastings are generous, not just a little sip!)The décor is so nice, even in the bathroom! I can’t wait to go back and try some other wines.“
