33 Best Mexican Restaurants near Derry

“Friendly staff & fantastic food!!!“

“Highly recommended. Large portions of excellent, authentic Mexican food at small portion prices. Very friendly family run business. Very low employee turnover rate over the years so even the workers like the place very much. I really cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I try to get there a couple times each week.“

“I had my son's graduation party yesterday, July 12, 2025. I rented out their space behind the bar at an affordable price. I worked closely with the General Manager, Jamison Colcord. He was wonderful to work with during the planning stage as well as the day of the event. He even got there an hour before the event, so I could put up decorations. The staff members that were assigned to assist my party were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. If I ran out of food, Jamison and the staff did everything they could to get me the additional food I needed for my guests (I had 13 teenagers to feed :). They took care of boxing the leftover food and cleaning the space after the party was over. My friends and family who attended the party said that they didn't know Margarita's rented out space and said the food and the party were wonderful. I would definitely rent the space again for an opportunity to work with Jamison and the staff again at Margarita's on Elm Street in Manchester, NH.“

“Great food and great atmosphere“

“Went to Margaritas in Nashua NH for girls night. Tyler could not have been nicer and gave the best service considering how drunk we all were and irritating I know a bunch a women can be. I will be back with my girls again and will definitely asking for Tyler as my server.“

“I ordered for the first time on door dash and their noodle birria is the best soup I have ever had. I highly recommend it and will definitely be ordering it again real soon. The soup is well worth the price in quality and quantity. It has lots of yummy birria meat at the bottom also.“

“This Margaritas restaurant was connected to our Holiday Inn hotel in Salem, NH. Our server was Lynette and she was amazing! From the flight of margaritas to the dessert at the end, this experience was excellent. If you're ever in Salem, New Hampshire, make sure to stop in and sk for Lynette, you won't be sorry.“

“Great first experience at the California Burritos in Nashua. I highly recommend not only the 🫓 but the California Burrito. Perfect ratio of guacamole, steak, fries, sour cream and greens.“

“It's a great place to go eat and have some drinks if I could say anything that is bad about this place it would be the plantains I think that's one of the most expensive thing they give you about four pieces for six bucks but other than that everything else is good. es un buen sitio para ir a comer y tomarse unos tragos me gusta mucho si tengo algo que decir mal de este sitio es nada más diría que los tostones son muy caros nada más te dan 4 tos toncito por casi $6 eso no deberían cambiar pero aparte de eso son muy amable muy cordial y se goza mucho con la música que ellos ponen.“

“This is a Mexican family owned business and the owner as well as the staff were very polite and friendly. The food was an absolute delight! I do not eat pork so we ordered seafood platters, specifically Camarones Rancheros (Shrimp dish) and Mojarra Frita (Tilapia) with their appetizer Papusa. They also have beef and chicken options.
The food was absolutely delicious!!! The in house salsa was great too, we asked for a more spicy one and the owner went back and came with Habanero salsa. Its slow burn heat tantalized my taste buds. What's notable about the restaurant is how the family puts passion in the food they put out and how they seek to serve their customers. The environment is rustic and casual, a news TV plays in the background as folks dine in. I actually prefer that over some God forsaken music playing in the background. Great place to have a conversation as well. The dishes were 20 dollars each except Papusa (3 $) and they came as a whole meal.
Great place, will be back soon.“

“Our first visit was Mothers Day. It was a very nice place. The people were friendly, food was fabulous. We will definitely be back. We may have found our new spot.“

“Incredibly tasty, everything was great. get there early for tamales and stick around for churros.“

“We live in Vermont. We came over to shop at Bass Pro Shop. We stopped in about 9 PM to eat dinner. We had the most amazing waitress. She was very kind and very attentive. We eat out a lot, and she is by far the best waitress we have ever had. You are so fortunate to have her on your team. We love your food. It has so much flavor. Please don’t change. We definitely will be coming back. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“Still sitting at the table and had to share how amazing this place is! By far the BEST Mexican food I’ve had anywhere in New England! Coming from a girl who grew up in California and knows good Mexican food. Will undoubtedly be back and be telling everyone I know to come here!“

“Drinks and food were fantastic!“

“This is our go-to place when we want authentic Mexican food“

“Ordered pick up for dinner.
Got 2 orders of pupusas with chicharon, an order of 5 beef tacos with rice and beans and 3 beef empanadas.
Everything was delicious.
The pupusas were a great size and flavor. The tacos were very well stuffed and so were the empanadas.
This is my fifth time ordering from them and they’ve been consistent every time.“

“15 years? Hard to believe I have been hanging out there for so long. It was a privilege to dine for your anniversary. I love the latest renovation. I love the new menu items. Enjoyed a delicious margarita flight and a gigantic birria quesadilla. Service is almost always speedy. Food is always delicious. Prices are kept under control even as inflation overwhelms us. Thank you so much from my entire family. Here’s to another 15 years.“

“What a wonderful little spot. I’ve been there several times for takeout so far and have yet to be disappointed.

My favorites are their chicharron and quesobirria tacos, but you really can’t go wrong. And I love that you can order as many or as few of their numerous types of tacos as you want; not something I’ve seen too often!

There’s also a very tiny bar and cute seating, though I haven’t gone to eat in-house yet. The staff have all been very nice as well!“

“The service was 10/10 and the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time!!! The margarita was amazing and our food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend this place in Manchester!!“

“I ordered a burrito with pernil and dios mio🙄🔥🤤🤌 literally one of the best burritos I've ever had... I was making noises eating that thing haha 100% going back again! Highly recommended if youre looking for a phenomenal burritos! The people that work there are very nice to!“

“Excellent food and drinks!“

“Ordered chicken tacos for the whole family only to find a bunch of chicken bones be careful giving to young children!“

“Edit to original post- went back today and AC was fixed! Hallelujah!

What on earth!? This place is awesome but the lack of air conditioning is absurd. We have quickly become regulars here, but if the AC doesn’t get fixed we won’t be back until September. I feel awful for the people working.. can’t believe they can keep a smile on their face while sweating so much. Also only cash only these days- not a deal breaker, but inconvenient for sure.“

“Authentic Mexican. Must try“

“We went for dinner last night and had a great meal. Our server Edgar was fantastic as was the food and the prices.. I will definitely be back and will recommend it.“

“Everything we had was incredible. Queso frito, bistec encebollado, picadera don quijote, chicharron de pollo, and tres leches. So full and so happy. My two year old even dropped his pb&j to join in on what we were eating. 😂 10000% would recommend“
