“Last night we went to Jesses o celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! I had called for some special accommodations I wanted. They did a fabulous job with our booth (which I requested for privacy and low noise level. It was a perfect booth! I had requested champaign be on the table in ice and chilled glasses. Candles were another request. The table was perfect and beautiful. Very romantic! My Huband's gift was delivered to the restaurant. It was sitting on the shelf behind the table. Perfect! The Managers and staff were excellent! A shout out to Tiffany and Abbey(manager). So very pleasant and accommodating. We have never had such excellent service. We have to many 4/5 star restaurants in our 50 years together (actually 52 if you count our courtship) LOL! So, congratulations on a job well done. Everyone (seemed to know about it) Even other patrons came by our table and congratulated us! e were truly made to feel special. I highly recommend Jesses for celebrations, or just a fabulous meal. They usually have live music in the bar area on the weekend nights. Which is where we usually sit for the comradery. . Always someone interesting to strike up a conversation with, sitting right next to you. Jesses is the place to be!“

“We enjoyed another wonderful special occasion dinner at Simon Pearce last night. The hour and a half ride was well worth it. Viewing the river, rushing dam waters, the wooden bridge and the old factory building make the meal so enjoyable to look out on as we dine. The appetizers, main courses and desserts are superbly prepared and often very creative. The wait staff is always quite knowledgeable and attentive. We know when we make the reservation that we are in for a special treat.“

“A very solid date and drink spot in white river junction! The food is surprisingly good Chicken liver mousse 5/5: It was fantastic and was a great shareable portion, had to keep the bread flowing for it. A must try Salmon 4/5: Very solid dish and cooked to preserve the moistness of the fish- would recommend Short rib 3.5/5: was good as well but out of all the dishes I would not put it as great as the others Ambiance/ Service: A little dark inside for me as it's not and only lit restaurant but depending where you sit the lighting can be slightly awkward for ambiance or photos. “Fantastic. My new favorite.Have been several times over the last year and food, flavors, service and atmosphere are consistently high quality.Enjoyed a fabulous almond pudding for dessert.... Similar but not the same in taste and texture to creme brulee... Enjoyed red lentil soup, cold appetizer platter and one fantastic hot appetizer as well. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: I love vegetables and frequently prefer vegetarian options. There are a multitude of diverse and flavorful options here. Though not everything on the menu is vegetarian, there is nothing so far that I haven't liked and from the descriptions I'd be willing to try just about everything on the menu. Unlike most restaurants where I'm lucky to find more than one option of interest, here almost everything looks and sounds absolutely fantastic. So far the flavors have been as good or better than the descriptionsParking: Depending on the time of day or other events going on in the area, parking can be limited. Plenty of extra parking on the other side of the train tracks if you are willing to walk“

“My boyfriend and I come to Stella’s often and it’s one of our favorite restaurants in the area. Unfortunately this evening our experience was overall pretty poor and our waitress was very rude. I have celiac and get gluten free bread every time. When I asked our server for gluten free bread she told me “We don’t do that here” and when I said I always am able to get gluten free bread at Stella’s she just walked off to check. She came back with the gluten free bread and put it on the table, which was fine, but didn’t say anything about previously shutting down my request. When my salmon came back largely raw (cold to the touch) in the center she condescendingly told me it was supposed to be that way and said it’s medium rare. I said I would try it but after eating a bite it was clearly raw and I asked to send it back. When I sent it back she rolled her eyes and seemed to smirk like I was being made fun of. At the end, we were offered free dessert but I was so upset at this point I just wanted to leave. If I were leaving a review based off just this experience, it would be 2 stars. However, I have had many lovely lunches and dinners at Stella with different staff.“

“Great dining experience. We sat at the bar and grabbed lunch while waiting for our car to charge across the street. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our food was served fresh and hot. Their burger is juicy and flavorful and the onion rings are delicious and gluten free, like many other items on the menu.“

“The food, as always, was delish. The biggest issue is was with the service. We understood that there was a show and that the servers would be a little busy. But even after the crowd cleared out, the servers were still a little absent. Again, I understand the situation, but it was a little disappointing.“

“This joint has the best pizza I've had in NH. The staff is sweet. I got a free pizza since they messed up my order, which was a pleasant surprise. I will admit the caesar salad had a lot of cheese. I was also pleased by the good prices for their delicious food-they were reasonable.“

“Great ambiance, convenient locaiton, great service. Went here for lunch on a Sunday and it was half full, but still lively. I got chicken and eggplant Parmesan and my sister had the rigatoni. Large portions and flavorful, but nothing memorable.“

“I visited the retail store for my first time , it was awesome! Tons of gluten free mixes that I cannot find in the grocery store in addition to the 1 to 1 baking mix. King Arthur has the absolute best mixes for gluten free options.My only complaint is when I am the only one in line to check out, please acknowledge me rather than ignore me at first so you can finish your conversation with each other. This bothers me more than it should, I admit that but I feel like customer svc is declining everywhere . Just greet me and make me believe you care.Otherwise and awesome spot!“

“This was a lovely setting with a variety of food options to suit our group's many needs and preferences. The service was friendly and attentive. The noise level (quiet) was perfect for us as we were a family group getting together for a celebration and were easily able to enjoy conversation.“
