“Wonderful dining experience in every way! Went here with family for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration and loved every minute of it! The friendly welcoming staff, the fabulous upscale farm like decor, the well informed waitstaff and all of the artfully presented delicious appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts! Don’t leave without trying the better than Cafe Du Monde’s Beignets!!!“

“Great food and drinks. The BEST New England Haddock Chowder. Rooms at the Inn could use some updating but are clean and comfy. Only issue is if your room is on the 3rd floor you have to haul your luggage up stairs. Our room was heated with a gas wood stove which kept the room warm but very dry. We had to buy a pot to put water in and sit on the stove to help with the dryness. This is an older rustic place and very traditional to the area so keep that in mind when booking. There is no mini fridge, microwave or coffee in the room. However, coffee and tea are always available down in the restaurant for guests. Loved our stay while there and the food was delicious.“

“Great little general store. Some local jams, syrup, etc. Great place to stop for lunch, with a dining area where you can watch the x-country skiers in the winter. Food was great! We had Avacado toast, Ham & Swiss on sourdough, jerk chicken wrap, and a Pastrami & Swiss on Rye. All were delicious!“

“I had lunch there today and it was Amazing!!! I had the grass fed burger and it was cooked perfectly! The fries were amazing too! Shout out to our waitress for checking to see if I could have ketchup after I asked for no tomatoes on my burger! She even asked if I had an allergy or just didn’t like tomatoes.She definitely went the extra mile!! We will be back !!!“

“I stopped here on my way to my air b and b. My son has a severe milk allergy. The waitress helped me look up on the Allergen list what he could eat. Once the ticket was put in, the chef came out to let us know they received new items that now contain milk where they didn't before. He knew the menu well and we were able to pick a meal. With all that said, they were professional, helpful, and the food was delicious. My son ended up getting a burger with the fixings. I got the fish and chips. I usually don't because the fish is usually greasy. Not here. It was well seasoned, crispy, and the tarter sauce was good. The place was clean and the waitress was attentive and friendly as well. I will visit again.“

Last night the Prickly Pear Martini & Vegetarian Meatloaf with sweet potato french fries were a nice surprise on the menu & really good. Also my wife appreciated that they have mocktails. They were tender, sweet and delicious!! And ridiculously well priced. Only thing wrong was I ordered the small size. Waitstaff was sweet. Definitely worth it. Food was awesome and Sam was very helpful! Nachos, shrimp cocktail, kids menu, onion rings, hand cut fries, chicken parm sandwich and steak & cheese were all excellent. We wouldn’t have known it was there but highly recommend!

Parking: Located on a side street, free 2 hour parking on both sides of street

“I went to the new location in Ossipee today and I am now kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. Everything about this place was amazing. Our waitress was absolutely lovely. The food was some of the best I've ever had. The restaurant itself was very clean, cozy and just a nice atmosphere.
