“Went to Gibbs for the first time last night for dinner. Our waitress was so friendly and accommodating, offering to bring out my son’s food first so he could eat sooner (he’s almost 3). We ordered the grilled wings which were delicious as well as the Reuben and prime rib. Everything was good! Friendly and laid back atmosphere. Will come back again.“

“Great service, we were met with a smile at the door. Had a fabulous meal! One of our party has to eat gluten free due to her food allergy. The staff was knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions. Not only did I feel safe about no cross contamination, the gluten free food was fantastic! We had Appetizers, entrée and dessert. (The Gluten free Beignets were out of this world) Please make them a permanent item on the menu! Good portions, even left with boxes of leftovers. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back! “It’s a great lunch spot to come with my coworkers. We love playing pool here and grabbing a bite to eat. Good food and nice staff. Only thing I hope they will consider is to please please please provide at least any kind of bicycle parking rack. It would be much more accessible to me then. There are not even poles that I could lock my bike to so it’s hard to come if I can’t catch a ride with friends“

“We have been to this restaurant several times and decided to go to lunch with a friend from out of town. The restaurant has great food, the atmosphere is very inviting and the waiter was very attentive.

Parking: The parking lot is small out back but there is extra parking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is popular but we always seem to find a place to park.

Wheelchair accessibility: My husband uses a walker and it was very easy for him to get in and out of the restaurant. Everything is on one floor.“

“Wow. Some of the best food I’ve had and I’ve been to 46 out of the 50 states.
The scallops were buttery and the risotto just perfect! Our server was super attentive and kind. They were able to sit a big group on a Saturday night right as we walked in. Everybody at the table liked their food as well. Food didn’t take that long either. My allergies were handled well.
Worth every penny.

“We just discovered this spot! Former big lots haha way better then that by far! We didn’t know what to expect for some reason Verizon phone service didn’t work for us so while in the truck couldn’t see the menu etc. so we just went in on a Tuesday around 4pm got menus and then was handed happy hour menus my 9 year old got the taco salad, was missing the taco bowl but made it up with fried tortillas. My son got kids Mac he was disappointed it was Kraft and dry as a box Mac would be! Still he smashed it out. We got 4 happy hour apps and some drinks then we did the all in passes needless to say $200 later with tip our short trip turned into like 5 hours of memories and we have to come back! Worth it and the bartender she was great and on point. We will go back with the kids and without we’ll worth our 45 minute drive and the money!! So much to do for kids and adults being kids again! “Went to a Christmas party here, it's beautiful. The staff is very nice and the food was great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, my only complaint, we were supposed to have dinner starting at 7, it was 830 before the salad came out and a little after 9 when dinner came.“

Finding a nice white, the waiter mentioned it might not be that cold, so we picked another and was told all the wine was stored in the same area so that, too, may be at room temperature. A typical restaurant, I might let that slide, but the Trumpet has an extensive wine list with premium prices. That needs to be figure out. After that, smooth sailing! We split plates and sampled many items which were great. Loved the Cauliflower and both desserts were fantastic. Our server tonight was Genesis M, and other than a poor wine explanation, did a fine job. Food here earned the right for us to come back again. But, I think we'll have coffee!“

“Traveled out to Portsmouth from Wisconsin. Sick of seafood, best burger I have ever had on the east coast. Lots of tv’s to watch the games. Friendly people. Highly recommend you give it a try. Will try their lobster roll though before leaving. Had some delicious apple crisp for desert.“

I told them it was no big deal and my husband went back to grab the chicken. The staff was so apologetic, gave him the chicken and a gift card for a future meal when I hadn’t asked for anything.
