The service staff is extremely professional - best we've experienced in years, especially our waiter - wish we caught his name all we know is he's Brazilian, been there for 4 years, and is very proud to work there. Owners: Give that man a Gold Star. Our meal was fantastic. Very good tuna and salmon, cooked exactly as ordered and plated/served beautifully. No shrinkflation here, the portions are generous so lay off the bread basket if you can. “Great food, a little pricey as dinner for 2 with a 20% tip came in just under $200 (and we brought our own wine). I had the lobster bisque and the crab cakes entree (more crab than the usual fillers you get). Wife went for the duck confit ravioli appetizer and the lollipop pork chops entree. Nice romantic atmosphere is an upgrade over the old basic Reddington's decor that was there a decade ago.“

So, I'm so very happy about it because they have all of the healthier choices at my dream man's restaurant to help my lower cholesterol levels. “I had the Octopus and Calamari in a delicious broth. I enjoyed it very much. Two family members had the Scallops special and they said it was very good. The other family member had the pork chop special and he loved it. Try the muscles appetizer, it’s phenomenal!!! Our waitress was knowledgeable and very polite. The dining room is clean but a bit cramped. The place is a bit small and noisy but it was a nice meal. It’s a byob establishment, bring some wine or beer and have a good time.“

“While I no longer live in New Jersey, every time I visit my family, I try to stop by The Buttered Biscuit. It is truly one of my top 5 brunch experiences in the country, and I’ve had a lot of brunch experiences in my life.It’s always busy and humming with energy. The benedicts are divine, the coffee is incredible, and the biscuits are absolute heaven. Highly recommend a visit. It’s worth the wait!“

“If I had to describe the food I just had at Manera's, it could be done in two words: absolutely outstanding. I've been eyeing up Manera's since they first opened, and replaced the now-gone Famous Dave's BBQ. Having heard nothing but good things about it, and seeing that they had a steak au poivre burger - I knew I needed to give it a shot. Fast forward to today, and a quick lunch trip later, I'm officially hooked. I arrived at 12:00 on a Sunday, with the place absolutely chock full of patrons (they had two parties that had booked the place). Despite this, service was absolutely stellar, our waitress was incredibly attentive and helpful, and the food came out stunningly quickly for being so crowded. My burger came out exactly as I ordered it (medium rare), and I've gotta say, it might be one of the best burgers I've eaten in my life. On par with Pat Lafrieda burgers in terms of meat quality, and the sauce, brie, and char all lived in perfect harmony. I'll be thinking of that burger for weeks to come. Even the fries were perfectly cooked! Decor is a little sparse, which would be the only 'downside' I can think of. Personally, I dine out for food, not ambiance, so this isn't a huge deal to me. All in all, if lunch being THIS good was any indication, I'll certainly be back for dinners in the future. An absolute gem in a town that's full of entirely too many chain food restaurants, and one that I highly suggest folks give a try to. Absolutely top notch!“

“We have driven passed Capsized Cafe many times, without turning in. Talk about missing the boat! We were looking for a fresh take on breakfast, out, and when we did the Google thing...up popped this eatery.Read many of the glowing reviews and headed over to try it for ourselves. Glad we did. “Great Sports Bar. Great Staff and management went there today. Asked if they were showing the Rugby World Cup . Management couldn’t do enough for me. Got the game on Ireland playing Scotland. But was i wrong they serve breakfast lunch and dinner And the whole menu is available anytime which is great for me bc sometimes i like something more then eggs in the morning. Parents had the same thing we also added a side of sausage and some porkskin (Cheecharone idk how to spell it lol) on the side. Both sides were delicious as well. Hidden gem in the Beachwood area. “Dedicated Gluten-free restaurant, if you are Celiac or just have gluten intolerance you can eat here without worry of kitchen cross contamination. I LOVE the Turkey Burgers here, they come with a very nice Arugula salad on the side. Bun is toasted to perfection and the patty is cooked beatiful with a nice slight char on the outside but still juicy on the inside.My only wish is that Turkey Burgers be available for dinner as well. I usually order two at lunch and save the other in fridge for later. Reheats really nice in the oven at 325. I also LOVE the Brownie's, please never get rid of them! ?“

“I've lived in Point Pleasant my whole life and nowhere else has ever been as good to me as Klotz's. Every single meal here-- breakfast or lunch, has been so good. Nowhere else has the local lunch counter feel like Klotz's does. And in case you've heard about their famous Myth, yes, it is THAT good. I also adore the patty melt. It's cash only and that's fine by me for how wonderful eating there is!“

There is no mention of any locally sourced ingredients on the menu or in the waitress’ presentation. Seems like a marketing thing. Just interesting.- Apps were delish and huge portions. We had the Brussels and Shrimp & Chorizo. TBH, the two of us were pretty full after apps and bread!- For dinner, we had the brick chicken and the scallops. I rarely order chicken at a restaurant, but this was very unique and tasty (and again, big portion). Scallops were perfectly cooked and succulent.- We were too full to have coffee or dessert- Service was good. Although they seemed a bit understaffed, as our waitress seemed to be constantly rushing around.- Prices were a bit higher than expected. But not a deal-breaker. “Thankfully we got a table as walk ins, but the place was pretty busy. It’s a very beach vibe and the menu reflects all of the summer favorites. We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.“

“Had a great second visit to Sea Grass! As mentioned in other reviews this restaurant is BYOB, so we started with our wine (which they nicely brought an ice bucket for) and the oyster special. My boyfriend really appreciated how the oysters weren't overly salty and the pear glaze added a good flavor. Since we had such a large appetizer, we decided to split the halibut for our entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out two plates, pre-split for us. The halibut had a nice herb crust and was served over lobster risotto (and they definitely did not skimp on the lobster!!). Overall, lovely dining experience!“

The food seemed a bit pricey (I know everything has gone up in price) but was delicious. One thing I would mention is when the folks come around to the table to clear places, glasses, etc. maybe coach them to wait a bit and remove mostly all the dishes at the time time. “It may be small, yes it is. With only 7 or 8 table clothed tables and a robust menu, it is a local gem. A small intimate setting that is very inviting. You better make a reservation because seating can be in demand. We had the appetizer Lobster Mac N Cheese, lamb chops, crab cakes, scallops, shrimp over pasta. Everything except the shrimp over pasta were great. My wife felt the shrimp over pasta was bland. For folks that like spicy foods I would request that they request the owner to jazz it up with some spices. It's a tough call, we like spicy food. Though some folks would love the lack of spice heat. We certainly will become regular patrons. It is nice to be able to have a conversation in a restaurant without getting blasted out by a loud croud.“

“I am so happy to have found such a great place to grab lunch at! They offer so many gluten free options and also understand allergies which is amazing! I work in the area and I was so hungry and wanted something easy. So I went in and got a Greek hummus wrap on GF wrap. It was amazing! I also learned they do catering and all gluten free as well. “This is one of our favorites, a jewel on the main drag in Manasquan. Pork roll, egg and cheese on brioche with a side of waffle fries.....c'mon, it doesn't get much better. And this is Jersey, so it's real pork roll and the Pig does it right. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, try the croque madame. It's the best grilled ham and cheese you've ever had, bathed in mornay sauce (known as fancy cheese sauce to the simpler, pork roll folk like me). But if you go that route you may want to share. And the coffee, brought to your table in a thermos, is great. Cool little place, great people and all part of the scene in downtown Manasquan - so you can walk off some of those calories after.“

“Nice size restaurant with a huge bar. Service was good and food was tasty. My only disappointment was warm fries. Hot fries are a must for me and most of the restaurants I've been to are the same. Guess I should get used to it or order a different side. I had a roast beef panninic with carmalized onions,, mushrooms, cheese and horseradish. Delicious! My daughter had a fried chicken taco bowl salad which she enjoyed but couldn't finish it. Good size salad. My son in law had the cheesesteak sub and he couldn't finish it either. Lol. Definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“This beautifully decorated space is a true gem. Cocktail menu is imaginative and the food wondrous! The menu is not overwhelming large but well curated featuring dishes which change seasonally. Our first visit was for a birthday and four of us were thrilled to be seated at the chef's table. Two of us dined last night and sat at the bar which offers a full menu. So between us we have tasted most appetizers and the halibut, pork, pasta, short rib entrees and cannot think of one thing we would change. It really should be noted that the staff there is among the most pleasant, kind and professional we have ever encountered. The bartender and servers are so informative and friendly and the chef is hands on and ensures the diners are having a very special experience! We are looking forward to our next visit!“

“I was attending a wedding in Lakewood, NJ. There are surprisingly very few hotels nearby there that aren't on the shore. I had in the past stayed at a Ramada in Toms River, but I learned that it had been sold and turned into an office building. For some reason, Lakewood has very few hotels. I had stayed at one of the only other nearby hotels, a Hilton, but it is overpriced. I saw the Days Hotel, and it got good reviews. The bride's grandmother told me a friend had stayed there and had given a good report, so I booked a reservation. The Days Hotel Toms River was a pleasant surprise. It was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in! No dirt, no signs of bugs. no stains in the bathtub! No cracked tiles or mismatched wallpaper. And I asked for maid service after the first night, and they gave it to me, complete with all fresh towels, bedding, and amenities, made the bed, vacuumed, and cleaned the coffee area, even not waiting until late in the afternoon, as some hotels do. And it looked like the hotel had just been redecorated. Not 1950s dreary with holes in the carpet and broken tiles in the bathroom. Very tasteful with light, simple colors: just the way I like it. The hotel was very quiet, no rowdy guests, and it was set back from the highway, so no road noise, as well. And a big parking lot in front (free) with no driving around and around for a space, even after I returned from the wedding late at night. And it is conveniently located to the main streets leading to Lakewood, which was important to me. Staff was nice, and there were two computers in the lobby with Internet + a printer for guests to use. It's a four-story hotel, and I had a room on the top floor, which I had requested. I had noticed before I left that the room rate (AAA - two double beds) since I made the reservation had gone down. I pointed that out when I checked in, and the agent behind the desk matched that rate. And there was always someone behind the desk, regardless of time of day. And they answered the phone!! There was a restaurant in the hotel that I didn't use, but they were very nice and gave me plastic silverware and disposable dishes so I could eat in my room the special-diet food I had brought. The room also had a large mini-fridge (that functioned well!) So overall I would say it was much better even than staying at the old Ramada. And better than the Hilton. at a much lower price. And 1, 000 times better than an old Best Western I stayed in once, which apparently is also kaput. Only complaint was that one of only two elevators was out of order, and it wasn't fixed the whole time I was there (3 days, 2 nights). But there usually wasn’t a wait for the other elevator.“

“I've been here many times, so I'm surprised I have never written a review. Last night, I had the ahi tuna tacos because I wasn't that hungry and they do not come with any sides. My friend had the filet mignon with cheese on an English muffin which was kind of a weird combination but she said it was okay. I forget the exact titles of what my other friends ate, but there are pictures here showing their food.“

I got the clam bake which I expected to be a whole mess of seafood for $60 but was 1 lobster and maybe 3 of each, clams, muscles, scallops and shrimp.The food was delicious and the service was good. “I like it here. Went earlier on a Friday night for a drink with some friends. There was a good band that started before we were leaving. Lively, crowded, casual atmosphere. It's a bit cramped around the bar where we sat. The walls are close to it. We liked it anyway. Bathrooms clean. Bar food available. Nice bartenders. A fun place to go! A varied crowd of 20 somethings to 60 somethings. Casual friendly patrons and employees.“
