“how great is it they the original owners of the Diet Gourmet have reopen in the same location in Elberon NJ. The menu is even better than before. They have all their old favorites and a whole bunch of new ones( pizza, flat breads, fish and chip, baked Eggplant) just to name a few.Also they redecorated the whole whole place from and new size to new floors, tables, bathroom repainted in light colors, rebuilt the whole kitchen with new equipment. And the original owner chef is back in the kitchen doing her thing. Healthy food at it's best, kosher dairy at it's best. GO Tomorrow.“
“This place is so good! I've ordered lunch here twice and both times my orders were ready in under 10 minutes. Not to mention both times I've gone there, the staff is SO kind and warm and welcoming. And as a bonus, the pup they have in the back is so cute!!! First time I got food, I ordered an Asian shack salad but as a wrap. It was so delicious and filling and huge! Easily could've lasted me two meals. Got a serving of fries too and they gave me so much and then some!Second time I went I ordered a regular Asian salad and small Turkey chili. The salad was soooo fresh and half of it filled me up. They put so much grilled chicken on top and the chicken is seasoned perfectly and tasted delicious. The chili was huge and filled to the brim - even for a small. Definitely got my moneys worth both times. Enjoyed my lunch the second time outside at one of their tables as the weather was nice and it was nice and peaceful.Hope to go back soon :)“

“I had the Octopus and Calamari in a delicious broth. I enjoyed it very much. Two family members had the Scallops special and they said it was very good. The other family member had the pork chop special and he loved it. Try the muscles appetizer, it’s phenomenal!!! Our waitress was knowledgeable and very polite. The dining room is clean but a bit cramped. The place is a bit small and noisy but it was a nice meal. It’s a byob establishment, bring some wine or beer and have a good time.“

I've ordered the streak frites and it's delicious like melts in mouth tender and flavorful. The bread with cheese is ridiculous as a starter meaning it's amazing.
