“It may be small, yes it is. With only 7 or 8 table clothed tables and a robust menu, it is a local gem. A small intimate setting that is very inviting. You better make a reservation because seating can be in demand. We had the appetizer Lobster Mac N Cheese, lamb chops, crab cakes, scallops, shrimp over pasta. Everything except the shrimp over pasta were great. My wife felt the shrimp over pasta was bland. For folks that like spicy foods I would request that they request the owner to jazz it up with some spices. It's a tough call, we like spicy food. Though some folks would love the lack of spice heat. We certainly will become regular patrons. It is nice to be able to have a conversation in a restaurant without getting blasted out by a loud croud.“
“Everything was excellent!! We really enjoyed it all. I had the meatball app and scallops both delicious. My husband had the special Chilean sea bass and Thai mussels. “Overall a very good experience celebrating my birthday & a friend's. Our waiter Dylon, did an excellent job making food recommendations & checkin up on us. The food seemed a bit pricey (I know everything has gone up in price) but was delicious. One thing I would mention is when the folks come around to the table to clear places, glasses, etc. maybe coach them to wait a bit and remove mostly all the dishes at the time time. Outside of that this place is a hit! Keep up the great work!“
“Great food, a little pricey as dinner for 2 with a 20% tip came in just under $200 (and we brought our own wine). I had the lobster bisque and the crab cakes entree (more crab than the usual fillers you get). Wife went for the duck confit ravioli appetizer and the lollipop pork chops entree. Nice romantic atmosphere is an upgrade over the old basic Reddington's decor that was there a decade ago.“

We took a family trip to JBJ Soul Kitchen because we wanted to give donation to the community. The servers were all very welcoming. The food was excellent! We all enjoyed the experience. “If I had to describe the food I just had at Manera's, it could be done in two words: absolutely outstanding. I've been eyeing up Manera's since they first opened, and replaced the now-gone Famous Dave's BBQ. Having heard nothing but good things about it, and seeing that they had a steak au poivre burger - I knew I needed to give it a shot. Fast forward to today, and a quick lunch trip later, I'm officially hooked. I arrived at 12:00 on a Sunday, with the place absolutely chock full of patrons (they had two parties that had booked the place). Despite this, service was absolutely stellar, our waitress was incredibly attentive and helpful, and the food came out stunningly quickly for being so crowded. My burger came out exactly as I ordered it (medium rare), and I've gotta say, it might be one of the best burgers I've eaten in my life. On par with Pat Lafrieda burgers in terms of meat quality, and the sauce, brie, and char all lived in perfect harmony. I'll be thinking of that burger for weeks to come. Even the fries were perfectly cooked! Decor is a little sparse, which would be the only 'downside' I can think of. Personally, I dine out for food, not ambiance, so this isn't a huge deal to me. All in all, if lunch being THIS good was any indication, I'll certainly be back for dinners in the future. An absolute gem in a town that's full of entirely too many chain food restaurants, and one that I highly suggest folks give a try to. Absolutely top notch!“

No shrinkflation here, the portions are generous so lay off the bread basket if you can. “Thankfully we got a table as walk ins, but the place was pretty busy. It’s a very beach vibe and the menu reflects all of the summer favorites. We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.“

I LOVE the Turkey Burgers here, they come with a very nice Arugula salad on the side. Bun is toasted to perfection and the patty is cooked beatiful with a nice slight char on the outside but still juicy on the inside.My only wish is that Turkey Burgers be available for dinner as well. “Had a great second visit to Sea Grass! As mentioned in other reviews this restaurant is BYOB, so we started with our wine (which they nicely brought an ice bucket for) and the oyster special. My boyfriend really appreciated how the oysters weren't overly salty and the pear glaze added a good flavor. Since we had such a large appetizer, we decided to split the halibut for our entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out two plates, pre-split for us. The halibut had a nice herb crust and was served over lobster risotto (and they definitely did not skimp on the lobster!!). Overall, lovely dining experience!“

“This is one of our favorites, a jewel on the main drag in Manasquan. Pork roll, egg and cheese on brioche with a side of waffle fries.....c'mon, it doesn't get much better. And this is Jersey, so it's real pork roll and the Pig does it right. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, try the croque madame. It's the best grilled ham and cheese you've ever had, bathed in mornay sauce (known as fancy cheese sauce to the simpler, pork roll folk like me). But if you go that route you may want to share. And the coffee, brought to your table in a thermos, is great. Cool little place, great people and all part of the scene in downtown Manasquan - so you can walk off some of those calories after.“

Our first visit was for a birthday and four of us were thrilled to be seated at the chef's table. Two of us dined last night and sat at the bar which offers a full menu. So between us we have tasted most appetizers and the halibut, pork, pasta, short rib entrees and cannot think of one thing we would change. It really should be noted that the staff there is among the most pleasant, kind and professional we have ever encountered. The bartender and servers are so informative and friendly and the chef is hands on and ensures the diners are having a very special experience! We are looking forward to our next visit!“
