“Friendly atmosphere and very quick service”

“We have been coming to Piccolinos Restaurtant in Bayonne for years. My father loved the veal and the great service our family received from the staff. It would only be fitting to host his repass there and when we called Byron to let him know he passed, he quickly helped my family with arrangements to host our family and friends in their private room. The food was cooked to order, absolutely delicious and the service our family and friends received from the staff was impeccable! Mostly everyone had to try the his favorite dish, the" veal martini" and loved it. The Wanko family would like to take this opportunity to send our sincere thanks to Byron, Jackie, Angelo, Juan Carlos, David, Yahir for their outstanding service to attention and delicious menu cooked to order on such a sad occassion. They truly made our friends and family know why we "love" Piccolino's and why this is surely the best Italian Restaruant and staff in Bayonne.”

I congratulated her on the success of her business. Her husband and her opened this restaurant, and the one on 412 Broadway after many years of working at Hendricksons as a cook. It’s nice to see hard hard-working people become successful n keep their business local. Very inviting and friendly place. Great margaritas. Great ppl:) I also had the chorizo queso. It was delicious. But everything on the menu us. All in all had a nice experience:)”

We then had dinner , my hubby had the outlaw and was cooked exactly as he ordered it and I had the petite filet mignon. Perfect . Out waitress was outstanding . “Hosted a birthday party for about 28 people including kids. The service staff was attentive and responsive to emails and to my calls when I had questions. Here are pictures. The food that we ordered from the party package #2 was terrific. We brought our sound bar to play music from my own playlist. There is an option to have music provided by the bar/restaurant if you want. I would return to host another party. Much recommended.”

“I can honestly say that I eat pizza at least three to four times a week and this pizzeria has the best slice of pizza and pizza pies in the state of New Jersey. I'm in Bayonne at least three times a week with my daughter for cheerleading I stopped by at least once a week sometimes twice a week to get a slice sometimes too maybe even three absolutely delicious The entire menu is delicious plenty of staff the store is immaculately clean fantastic”

“Ordered off Uber eats. Wonton soup, fried rice, mango Tuna roll, and jalapeño shrimp tempura roll. 10/10. I'm a critic on wonton soup, it was perfect. Fried rice was tasty, I'd definitely order it again. The rolls were so fresh, and added a little extra something I haven't seen in other places. The fact that it was this good delivery, I'm sure it's even better eating in house. Will be a repeat customer for sure.”

“Great food and friendly staff :) two things as a heads up - 1) there is a cash discount of 3.99%, and 2) the seating is a bit limited (two side tables with 2 seats each side by side and one large table that seats 4) so it's more of a pick up and go place but if it isn't too busy it was clean and chill. Menu on the website is up to date but they also have paper menus by the register. We got a bunch of rolls but I think the favorite was the tiger roll 🐯”

Luckily we picked Une Tasse Cafe, the coffee was fantastic and the breakfast wraps and pastries were delicious. The owner was warm and welcoming and introduced us to her dog, who actually let me pet him. I wish this restaurant was closer to where we live, coffee that good is hard to find. I just ordered two pounds on their web site so that I can enjoy it at home. Hopefully on our next cruise we will stop there again.”

The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and pretty quick. Food was descent for takeout Chinese food, though the sushi was just fine. The combination dish that I got reminded me of late night college life a night after drinking and grabbing some quick fast Chinese food.”

“I was made to feel very uncomfortable here. Too many people/strangers asking personal questions. Don’t know why the whole bar wanted to know where I was from. Then a peculiar man kept saying “she’s from Jersey city” to the whole bar. I was then told to “be careful here” by one of the customers. Some other odd things were said to me so I decided to leave. The pizza reminded me of something you get at a carnival. The wings are tiny and hard. Although she was quick with service I noticed the bartender never made eye contact with me and after awhile it seemed on purpose. I do not recommend this bar, not sure why it suggests that above when I clicked NO several times. Really cold beer is all they have to offer.”

“Palermo's Deli is overall the "BEST" food you could possibly ask for in Bayonne AND the surrounding area. The people go above and beyond what's required of them, and you NEVER get an attitude from any of the employees (unlike another deli in Bayonne that shall remain nameless --> 5th St.). “Delicious pizza, fast service, and unbeatable prices. Pizza Masters is a humble neighborhood establishment serving up slices that can compete with the heavyweights - Scarrs, Joe’s, and Roberta’s. The pizza had a great char and aromatic sauce. Incredibly cheesy! The pepperoni rolls were a showstopper (and heart-stopper) — the acidity from the marinara perfectly cuts through the gooey, scalding mozzarella.

The Sicilian slice was not the best. Very doughy with powdery cheese — similar to Domino’s. Stick to the classic thin slices. The cheesecake was disappointing as well: sandy, gritty, and not very sweet or rich. It’s Pizza Masters, not Cheesecake Factory.

Two slices, two root beers, and a slice of cheesecake only came out to $13 total!”

David, the owner, is a great host and will adjust any dish to your liking. Try the chicken wrap and Scallion Pancakes appetizers with the homemade Thai O'Brien's hot sauce. The shrimp and lemon grass soup is spicy and awesome as well.”

“I have visited Charley’s Bayonne twice and both times I had a positive experience.

The first time I was there I dined-in. They have a huge dine in area with lots of tables. The order was ready within 10 minutes and my wife and I enjoyed our Philly cheesesteaks.

I downloaded their app and created an account which gave me a $5 credit for my next purchase so I ordered through the app and picked up. This time I ordered a Bacon Cheesesteak which was also tasty. As soon as I arrived (approximately 10 minutes after I had placed the order) the order was ready and properly packed with each cheesesteak in a separate box (much better than Subway’s packaging). I also ordered a side of cheese sauce but I do not recommend it. It was cold and tasteless, much different than Wendy’s cheese sauce.

Both times I visited were on a weekend early afternoon and both times the place was dead. I’m not sure if it gets busier later or during weekdays but I hope this business survives because I definitely recommend it.

You can expect to pay between 8 and 13 for your cheesesteak depending on the size. They also offer wings and other types of sandwiches.”
