“This place is a tiny Italian ice shop right on broadway with outdoor seating and some of the best Italian ice in Bayonne. Last time I visited, I had a watermelon ice and it was so smooth and didn't taste overly sweet. The only downside is that it's cash only, but that's the deal with most seasonal mom n' pop shops so that's expected. They even have several sugar free flavors and other yummy treats on the menu. Definitely worth checking out.“
“I don’t know why the bad reviews. I have yet to have a bad experience here. So far we came twice. I really enjoy the soft served vanilla. If tastes just like a carvel cake! It’s super thick and delicious, almost like custard. We tried the carvalanche, with chocolate and vanilla and m and ms and sprinkles. A medium was huge and enough to share with my husband. It was thick and creamy and not melted. I love magic fountain too but their equivalent- hurricanes are always melted when they hand it to me.The staff here have always been nice. And I haven’t seen any hair or dirtyness yet.It’s conveniently close to the 22nd street light rail!“
“I love coming to Magic fountain in the summer! I love their birthday cake flavor, and they have like a strawberry cheesecake flavor that is unique to them and totally delicious. They have a drive-through and a few windows at the storefront to take orders. I've always found the staff really kind, helpful and quick. They also have little picnic tables for you to sit with family and friends. It's a staple! Go!“
