“Amazing food right on the bay. We bring our boat and park in the public docks. if they are not available polly’s will let you park for a small fee. Polly’s is also good but a different vibe. nowhere near as nice.”
“I LOVE HOLIDAY SNACK BAR! This place has my whole heart. I grew up going here and I never plan to stop. Food is classic, get yourself a burger and a fry and a boost slushie. True classics. The atmosphere is amazing, the decor and everything around is so fun and warming. Staff is great too! I’ll never stop coming here. I love it every single time.”
“as you walk through the shopping village the aroma of chowdah tickles your nose and entices you as if in a trance. A cartoon who smells a fesh pie left on the window sill, you can't help but fall victim to it's inebriating fragrance. When you finally find this gem in buried deep in the shopping jungle, the doors open to a bouquet of bisque, chowda, and lobster alike. It crashes into your nose like an embrace from a long lost lover in a former life. Something out of a dream as you bring the first spoon full of bisque and oyster crackers to your lips. A flavor so familiar, but you've never had something this intoxicating. Your mind races to make sense of it, but it's impossible. You're hopelessly lost in the bliss of the bread bowl bisque.”
“Great spot to hang out! You can bring in your own food (great sandwich shop downstairs) and they are dog friendly. Laidback atmosphere with TVs playing sports. Lots of beers to choose from (10+) plus a seltzer and frozen slushie. Can purchase 4packs to go if you find a drink you like!”
“Omg!! Donna did an amazing job with our friend’s 60th birthday cupcake cake!! So beautiful!! We loved it!! Thank you!! Thank you Donna!! Now it’s celebration time!!”
“Detroit style pizza is hard to find in New Jersey. Try this place! The dough is light and airy even though it's thick. The cheese cooked on the outside is delicious. Only open 2 days a week currently and need to call ahead for ordering but it's worth it. Great quality and unique! We tried each of the current types offered : cheese, pepperoni, and burrata. Everyone had a different favorite but all were great!”
“Every time we eat at Dock & Claw the experience beats the previous one. The kids loved the tuna poke (amazingly fresh), burger and fish tacos. The oyster flight was great! The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re eating at your friends house.”
“We discovered the original location in kind of a "eureka " moment. We LOVE crepes & these are the real, authentic French crepe. They moved to a larger space & each time in Beach Haven, we enjoy! The French couple who own Creperie de la Mar cannot do everything themselves so they hire & train. My French press was lukewarm so I asked for it to be heated. The latte was not as good as before. The crepes were delicious! People who want a quick in & out experience need to go to Wawa, not here & then complain about the wait, especially in season. A very unique & wonderful experience is here if you bring some patience.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options.”
“A small spot with counter service, and a few tables outside. This fairly priced, $21 a lobster roll, spot gives you a healthy serving of lobster both claws and tails on a perfectly toasted buttery roll. They have Maine, CT and Mass choices. They created a new category called Rillaioli, a lobster roll with varying state themed offerings. Check out the Texas. The lobster Mac and cheese was creamy, and didn't skimp on the lobster portion.”
“Everything is good here, just get early if is during the summer season because it gets very busy. My 7yo boy loves their Pigs in a Blanket ? and my go to are their Omelettes which you can order with Pancakes, French Toast or Homefries.”
“Great service, wonderful food. Shout out to the woman running the reservations/ seating. She was amazing at running the show on a busy Presidents’ Day. Our server (Sarah) was friendly and made great recommendations. Nice hearing live music ! Only negative it can get so so loud.”
“Always enjoy eating at The Chicken or the Egg! Famous for the wings, I think they are cooked ahead of time, then slightly reheated and slapped with some sauce when ordered. Not fresh out of the fryer, but still good. Always fun to eat here! Awesome breakfast too! The ultimate omelet is amazing! The biggest fattest wing in the LBI area, including the mainland.”
“Went to tuckers for dinner on Sunday night. Sat at the bar and was served by John. He was so accommodating and super friendly. Food came out super quick and exactly as orded. Had an over all fantastic experience. Definitely try out it when on LBI.”
“Once again Isola did not disappoint! The food, service and ambiance were exceptional! If you have not tried the stuffed olives for an appetizer, they are a MUST! We also shared the fig pizza which was done to perfection! For dinner, my one cousin and I had the Spaghettini a la Arrabbiata ( a new item on the men) and was DELICIOUS! The rest of my family had the Branzino and short ribs which were out of this world! From entering the restaurant, my family and I were greeted enthusiastically ( and with a big smile!) by Bella at the front desk, we were seated promptly and our server Maureen, continued that warm and enthusiastic hospitality once we were seated and that same level of hospitality continued throughout our time dining. This is by far my favorite restaurant on the island! Thank you so much for another fabulous dining experience with exceptional food and service!! We will be back soon!”
“My fiance and I really enjoyed our dinner at Gables, having been there before. What made it even more enjoyable, the waitress we had was so good at her taking care of us, and her knowledge of the menu made it easier to pick our meals. Also, knowing her from previous establishments on the island contributed to having a great time and making sure we will be back again. Kudos to Steve and his wife for bringing ambiance as well as great food to Gables!”
