“This place is a hidden gen of Belleville. Our waiter was excellent she was very pleasant, courteous and knew what we would like. The food was well especially the vodka sauce amazing. Love it was a nice birthday dinner with my family.”

“We hired Custodi to cater our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We had them provide a buffer appetizer/cocktail hour, as well as coffee and tea service during dessert. We live in Oregon and got married in New Jersey, but Chris made the long distance communication and logistics a breeze. Day of, he sent a great team, and they were able to navigate the day smoothly, and make it ever the more easier for my husband and I to just enjoy our day and not be asked a thousand questions. Everything was delicious, and I especially loved the stuffed mushrooms! Thank you again for making our day great!”

“Silver lake CheeseSteaks and Tacos makes authentic tacos at a very reasonable price. Their glorious selection of cheesesteak options is pleasing. They also sell fresh cut fruit and deliciously baked goods. I have been going to them since the owner himself was a cook at the Newark Cheesesteak house in Newark. He now owns both locations. I prefer Silver Lake because the original chef/ now owner still cooks. That is a sign of great leadership.”

“Had the catfish poboy at uptown night Market! They told me 15 minutes was done in 15 minutes. It was a large fried catfish filet and it was perfectly crispy. I think the tartar sauce may have needed a little more salt but overall great experience. Reminded me of Louisiana”

Prices are reasonable and the store is clean. Plenty of seating. There is a large parking lot, but sometimes I'm not able to get a spot near the store and have to go to another part of the strip mall. Great location for this store and has been there for a long time.”

Brix is our go-to after the loss of Franklin Steakhouse in Nutley before the pandemic. If we even knew about Brix's quality before then, we probably would have been coming here half the time too. Everything is phenomenal. I highly recommend the Thursday special Surf & Turf with 'red wine reduction,' but I've only done it once. I have never had anything less than a 10/10 meal here every single day I've come. Brix's 371 signature burger, steaks, lobster dishes, and many appetizers make their way into my daydreams.My only wish is that I could find the time to show up for the brunch menu, and I'm glad to recently learn it's also on Saturday and not just Sundays.
