First of all the food was amazing, I ask the young man what dish I should get. He recommended the The Big Kahuna which included pineapple and peppers which I'm a big fan of!!!! “I tried this place after hearing about it on Instagram. Me and my husband went after the Washington Heights 5K that he participated in. We came a little early because I thought they opened at 10 but then I realized today is Sunday and they open an hour later so we went into Marshalls to kill time. Me and my husband both got juice. “One of the best jersey dogs, you don't find these deep fried hot dogs outside of Jersey. These guys use a natural casing thummans dog. It's a perfect size. “First time and it was well worth the short drive from Clifton. Excellent pastrami but the rye bread could be improved as it fell apart. As a rye bread foodie my standard is the old Pecters seeded rye which is still available but now owned by Rockland who coincidentally supplies the Pastrami grill, unfortunately I think they changed the quality. The website to order is easy to use & you get a coupon after a certain number of orders. Sometimes when I walk in instead or ordering ahead online, I have the option to order on a tablet next to the register, or stand in line to put my order in. The tablet is a great convenience but I much prefer ordering from the staff at the register because they are outstanding! What a kind and professional team! “So first back story, from NYC, running errands in Jersey, wife looked the place up, kids with us (15 and 11), first time there. I write these because I usually see people that had bad experiences leave reviews.Parking spot was available right across the street, $0.50 for the hour. When we walked in Helen greeted us with a smile and quickly produced a menu for each of us. Was originally just going in for the special but then I saw the Steven Burger. I usually hate trying new burgers as you can get anything from a greasy meatball to a hockey puck, this was not the case. So I ordered my Steve Burger and my family followed suit. Here's the thing, my 11 year old despises vegetables. Without missing a beat Helen smiles and squints "No lettuce or tomatoes?". My wife couldn't thank her enough for catching it. Ordered fries and onion rings, the fries became cheese fries after diving deeper into the menu and the onion rings were really onion rings, not that onion mash stuff formed into a ring. Helen told us to have a seat and the drinks were in the fridge whenever we were ready. I liked that because I'd rather my soda out the fridge rather than sitting on the table. Helen brings over a basket with enough napkins and forks, she must've sensed how messy of an eater I can be because there were enough napkins. We get our food and I can not stress enough, Juicy not Greasy. I know I've been going on so I'll wrap it up. Totally enjoyed the meal which ended with a second order of cheese fries because, well because they were some good cheese fries. “I have been to Oklahoma several times so I was skeptical. Omg the best rib tips ever. The ribs are expertly seasoned, a heavy ground pepper and salt rub. Smoked for a long time. Comes with delicious bbq sauce, three kinds. All house made. The quality is VERY HIGH. I prefer this to Dinosaur etc. Great price value. It is NOT like the chain restaurant microwave in bag type ribs. It is similar to what I ate in OKC and Texas. The people are very nice. Great take out place. You have to know what to order.
