“This place is great! The service is awesome! You don’t have to ask for meat refills as the servers would come and ask when they see empty meat plates. A side note for kpop fans, this place play SM Entertainment songs like 90% of the time! (For the rest 10% I don’t know those songs) ???“
“I've been to some other locations and always enjoyed the food. This location is conveniently located on Rte 17 inside HMart. The staff was really nice and remembered me from our brief phone call.We came by to get some wings on Veteran's Day for the 25% off deal. We got 2 flavors we had not tried yet - gangnam style and galbi, both were really flavorful and different than the standard soy garlic and spicy flavors. The galbi has a smokey taste and gangnam is sweet and spicy. I also love their sweet radish as a palate cleanser. Very good Korean fried chicken!“
“i do not know if this was just because i was extremely famished before arriving at this establishment, but when that first spoonful of soondobu made contact with my taste buds i swear to god it was the best thing i've ever tasted. it was so scrumptious.“
“Food was fresh and delicious. Service was prompt. The folks that work here are very friendly and generous. They offered us seared tuna which was delicious. We ordered a couple of rolls and again you can taste the freshness of the sushi. We also greatly enjoyed their beef ramen. Beef was tender and tasty and was the broth. Will be back again.“
“The best chicken wings!! The soy garlic wings was omg delicious. The boneless wings were amazingly tender and crispy. The only problem is that it gives me a good food coma Everytime after I eat those wings. Forbidden rice is really good, good valuefor only $2.50“
“Had a late lunch here with a friend while visiting Cliffside Park. The service, food and atmosphere was good! I really enjoyed my time in this area. I will return when in the area again. I had the spicy ramen, spicy tuna rolls, hot tea and tempura fried ice cream for dessert ?“
“Absolutely loved everything about this place. The food was incredibly tasty and filling! We ordered the Fried Dumplings, Takoyaki, and the Sweet Potato Fries (this was our FAVE!) For entrees we ordered the Bulgogi Sukiyaki (Bulgogi Stew), Tonkatsu, Stir Fried Beef Brisket, and the Braised Beef (our favorite entree!!) The atmosphere and aesthetic of the place is quaint, modern and lots of wooden details. It’s very inviting and the staff was also so nice and helpful with the menu and any recommendations. Definitely have to come back here for a late night spot!“
“I came here through Yelp and it was so delightful. Thank you Yelp for providing such an amazing event and offer to try out Ahjae Gookbap's shrimp ball appetizer called "Ahjae almandu" It is a cute opening and pretty cozy area to dine in with your friends. Once I got in, I was greeted by the waitress who was really nice and courteous. She asked either I wanted to dine in or take it to go. I told her dine in and was seated at a long bench table, which was enough space for my bags! Hehe After being seated, she gave me sauce which was sweet to dip the shrimp balls. I also got daikon and kimchee to try out. The kimchee was good! I love it so much and their spice level was perfectly spiced out for me. Not overly spicy or weak. Then afterwards the waitress brought out the nice display of shrimp balls which was so lovely to eat. I can't fathom the beautiful display and then plate they used. The shrimp balls look like crystals to me. So cute and lovely to eat. I took my first bite and knew immediately it was very flavorful! You can taste the shrimp along with the rest of the ingredients that balance out the shrimp! A must try for anyone who wants to come here. There is also free water for you to grab from the water cooler, either hot or cold water!“
“I normally write reviews for the readers, but today, this review is directed to the owner. Your fried chicken is worth the trouble of finding parking. I had the 10pc bloom drumsticks half w/Soy Garlic and the other half in S.O.S. Korean Spicy. I would even go as far as saying any of the sauces are worth a parking ticket. I was also super impressed with the size of the drumsticks! I was full after just 4, and thankfully, otherwise I would have been tempted to eat my napkin just to relish the flavor. I'm also grateful I arrived with family, since they ordered additional items, like the bloom wings, truffle fries, pork dumplings, and wasabi coleslaw. I got to try almost everything and nothing disappointed...not one thing. Thank you for offering to provide me my order as it became available for the members of my family vs. waiting for all of it to finish, that was very considerate of you and unexpected. I saw how polite you were to everyone that entered to order and for pick-up. We waited a little less than 25 minutes for the order to be complete and considering the size of our order, that was impressively fast! I just want to add that I also noticed you sacrificed your kitchen space to provide extra room for your guest, hats off to you sir! The seating space at the entrance is ample, the decor is trendy, the food was amazing, your attitude was great and even the bathroom was clean. The next time I come, I'm shooting a video for you, you deserve it...plus, I need an excuse to come back.“
“I ordered from here for the first time tonight after hearing about them on Instagram. This was the best sushi I have ever eaten. I ordered one of mostly everything on the a la cart menu (I will try the rest next time), and their toro, caviar, and uni hand roll. Everything was perfect. Absolutely, freaking, delicious. An added perk; it was sent to me in a lovely black box. A very nice added touch. This place is legit.“
“A cute mom-and-pop roll house located in the main downtown area of Ridgefield Park. It is a true hidden gem for takeout and delivery! The owners here are very friendly and welcoming, offering heartfelt hospitality with every visit. With various roll options to choose from (my favorite/recommendation is Chloe roll, Volcano roll, Fire Fight roll, Dragon roll), they offer convenient service, and amazingly tasty beverages such as bubble tea & iced tea to enjoy with the food. Highly recommended for anyone looking to grab a quick bite or enjoy a fancy dinner :)“
“There is nothing but good vibes coming here for food. The grannie is so helpful and attentive, would keep refilling the kimchi dish right as it’s finished and so sweet and kind. The staff are awesome, food is great! Definitely come here and try it. The price is absolutely fair too!“
“As a Korean born and raised in Korea and someone who recently moved to NJ, I have been looking for a great mandoo (dumpling) place in NJ and Mannane is like an oasis to me! Their dumplings are top notch in terms of flavor and fresh/cleanliness, and the owners are super kind and amazing. Cheers to Mannane for making my dumpling dream come true!“
“This is my favourite restaurant in New York. The service is amazing. I could have this for breakfast, lunch and dinner for my whole life. The owner gave me a free drink.I recommend this place because The food is amazing. Everyone is so nice. It makes my life so good. We had the pork Ramen, amazing , we also had the spicy chicken that was so flavourful and and the salmon poke bowl that so fresh,it tasted like heaven.Review by Rawly (12)“
“Being Korean myself and working as a professional chef for 3 years, I say with total sincerity that this location has some of the BEST Korean food I've had in my life. For the price, you truly get your money's worth. The portions are generous and food beyond flavorful. And as if that wasn't enough, the owner was kind as to offer me a free soda beverage. I wish this place great success, and I'll definitely be back!“
“I had the privilege of having Eastern Kitchen cater my wedding back in June of 2023. The food was absolutely AMAZING. Numerous guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had and I would agree. It is top-notch Korean food. The menu variety and quality were both phenomenal. James did an amazing job catering our wedding. Thanks from Daniel and Nicole“
“I'm just writing this review after reheating my leftover K-Town Ramen broth with some of my own noodles, cheese and scallions and wow. The broth is so flavorful!!! The food was delicious when we visited for lunch recently and I'm so glad I saved the broth for a second meal. We will be back soon!“
“We drove past today and saw that this had recently opened. We parked next door in the free community parking lot and walked over. The place is super cozie, the staff was wonderful and the food was amazing! We got boneless wings and gimbap and they were both wonderful.“
“I was impressed by the dumplings that were filled with meat and pumpkin, and that she made the dumpling skin herself just like my grandmother. The noodle soup and noodles are handmade, and I could feel the sincerity they put into their food. The broth felt clean and not spicy, but they said they didn't use MSG. People who are used to spicy food may find it boring, but I actually liked how clean it was. I think the owner is also very kind and affectionate! I don't usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share a touching story about my nephew, who is a chef, and support him, so I am leaving a review ☺️ I recommend it!“
“The food was amazing and the service was very good!. While the most of K bbq place is quite loud and lively, here provides you calm, elegant and clean vibes. All of the small dishes taste very earthy, fresh yet tasty. Definitely no MSG as I feel very comfortable after dinner.“
“I wish I lived closer. I drove to this location from Westchester, NY and it was worth the trip. It was my first time trying Korean food and I'm obsessed. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. The corn dogs and the fried chicken with onions made my weekend. I also tried a variety of drinks, the plum soda and a variety of fruit juices with real fruit. I recommend them all. The service was amazing as well.Parking: There's parking availableKid-friendliness: My kids enjoyed this place.“
“I was blown away. I got the beautiful tri-colored tofu with spicy pork and had some of my friend’s perilla seed and mushroom sundubu. You can definitely taste that this tofu is house-made and so special. The staff were very attentive and my overall dining experience was wonderful. I will be craving this again until I come back!“
“What an amazing spot for Korean bbq. We came here for my brother going away dinner and we had so much fun. The menu was diverse and offered so many options. The clams were really good. They gave us a container of the juices from inside to dip the clams in which was incredible. It was essentially a super rich soup by the end. The steamed egg was really fluffy. Make sure you let it cool down before eating it. The soon dubu was amazing. Probably one of my favorite dishes especially since it was cold that night. The seafood pancake was addicting I wish we had ordered more. The beef combo was really good and they gave us plenty of sauces to pair with all the meats we ordered. Will definitely back. For having 8 people we were taken care of very well. The servers were very attentive and helpful in cooking and serving us.“
“This will be brief but to the point. If you like Korean bbq then you need to come here. The meat is great, service outstanding, and the sides are awesome. The ribeye and hanger steak are special callouts from their selection. We do the 4 meat dinner special and it comes with two stews and boiled egg plates (Korean style). You will love this place.“
“Hey, my keyboard can't type in Hangul, but anyeongasayo! My girlfriend got me an Uber Eats gift card for my birthday, and we'd already ordered takeout from here once. I'm a Korean adoptee with a white family and never got to try Korean cuisine growing up in New Jersey unless we went to a restaurant. The chicken was juicy and crispy, and the sweet and spicy sauce on the wings was outrageous. You have my business for as long as I can order food on apps. Thank you for letting me taste South Korea here on the East Coast. ????? 5/5Kid-friendliness: I wish I'd tried this growing up. I was in New Jersey. There were millions of Koreans here bumping to the music when I was a kid in the 2000s and 2010s. Thanks for the hard work, chefs. I'm recommending your business to my friends and family! ?❤️? “
“I ate at Halmae Noodle recently but I am already thinking about the next time I can come here. Located on Broad Ave, Halmae is a no frills Korean restaurant that specializes in kalguksu. My boyfriend and I ordered the jeyuk and hanchi deopbap respectively. I absolutely loved the hanchi and the contrast of the hot squid with the cold veggies was really nice. Also, the squid definitely had a wok-hei taste (if you're Cantonese you know this amazing taste) that I was really surprised by since I never tasted that in the numerous Korean restaurants I've eaten at. Even though it was level 2 spicy, it wasn't super spicy at all. I believe each dish for ours was a little over $14. In this economy? Amazing. Will definitely come here again to try more of the menu!“
“This cozy spot stole our hearts with its chill vibes, perfect for both date nights and gatherings with friends. ✨ The music sets the mood, and the bar seems like the place to be next time for an even livelier atmosphere.Food: The Kalifornia, Shrimp hand rolls, and Fish + Chips Takos were absolute winners - fresh, flavorful, and left us wanting more. The pork dumplings were decent, but we've had better. The Oyster Mushrooms, although tasty, were a bit heavy on the batter.Drinks : The Suntory beer was refreshing, but the Paradise Lost stole the show - a tropical explosion that balanced sweet, smoky, and spicy notes perfectly. Highly recommend it!Overall, a charming spot with great potential. We'll definitely be back to explore the menu and bar scene further!“
“The amount of medium Gamjatang is huge!!! Really like everything in it, the tender pork ribs, potatoes, and vegetables! Super warm and comfy food in winter. Also love the fried rice with seaweed as a side to add for just $5. Overall it’s pretty cheap and totally worth it!!!“
“It's a pity that I only found out about this place ㅠㅠ The rice was very well prepared with mixed grain rice and side dishes, and it tasted just like what I had in Korea. I had the braised rib kimchi stew and it was so delicious! I will go often from now on “
“This place is WONDERFUL. I came here with my son after spending the afternoon at Urban Air Adventure Park. We got two half box orders of boneless thighs (original crispy and soy garlic/sweet & spicy), fries, and water. The chicken took about 15-20 minutes to cook, but it was well worth the wait. My son (the pickiest eater in the world) LOVED the boneless thighs, and even the French fries. I thought everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were all fantastic, with the soy garlic being my favorite. The fries were also some of the best fries I've ever had. Super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The food also came with Cole slaw which was DELICIOUS, and I say this as someone who normally strays away from Cole slaw. Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front was very friendly and clear with describing the food. Their presentation was top notch also. The food was packaged beautifully and even the bag it came in was just really well designed. It was like opening a holiday gift of delicious food. I would highly recommend paying this place a visit, although you'll probably have to do take out since they have limited seating. That's probably the only downside I can think of, but they still deserve 5 stars overall“
“We ended up here after having gone to another nearby restaurant that was having water pressure issues and, upon seeing the recognizable name BCD, we ventured in. Seating was prompt and comfortable. The place was busy. We each ordered an entree and learned that they have a beer and wine license, so we tried from among their limited alcohol offerings. The beer and soju options weren't especially appealing, but they were part of the immersion in the experience. The food was good. My favorite food item were the dumplings that we ordered as a share plate. Plentiful servings and very polite and helpful staff to help navigate the unfamiliar territory. The manager came over promptly to sort out one early misunderstanding with our very nice server and his clarification was greatly appreciated.“
“Really good chicken. My kids were craving chicken and decided to try after seeing other good reviews. Chicken is crispy and juicy. My kids LOVED the soy garlic flavor and also just plain. Drum sticks were huge and very juicy. Friendly service and staff was really nice. Will definitely eat here again when the kids are craving chicken again. Thanks.“
“HIDDEN GEM! This place is so good!! FYI, it's a self serve restaurant so you order and pay at cashier and they will call for your ticket when food is ready. The best part is NO TIPPING! It's a great business model for today's economy. My spicy galbi tang was super good. 4 thick chunky delicious pieces of galbi tang. It's thicker in person than my photos can capture. Each piece has the right amount of marbling that gives a delicious texture and mouth full of juicy meat. It comes with thin glass noodles and thick chunks of daikon. The seafood pancake is a MUST order. It's so thick, crispy and have large chunks of octopus. It's such a satisfying meal. The spicy pork with cabbage bimbimbap was delicious too. They have free self serve milk-like soup and it hits the spot on a winter rainy night. I'll definitely come back.“
“We ordered delivery. The wings tasted very good and I think I got more pieces than the stated number on the menu. Good price for how much we got!Only complaint is that there were no wing tips (my favorite part), all just drumettes. But overall I was satisfied.“
“The environment is perfectly fit for dating, party, dinner and so on; there is also a sports bar inside the restaurant; the dinning hall is huge and clean; all the dishes are delicious; the chef provides almost all kinds of Korean food; There are 5 or 6 karaoke room “
“A+ spot, down from food to drinks to service. Anyone that says otherwise, doesn’t appreciate valuable spots like this in Jersey.I mean.. 6 of us had an amazing time here.I’d go back in a heartbeat & cannot wait to revisit.Absolutely a gem. Just downside would be parking in Fort Lee but that’s Fort Lee ? I found parking without difficulty luckily ??“
“I came here with 7 of my friends. Many of my friends have not been a Korean BBQ place like this, and they were thoroughly pleased with the experience. They were very kind to us, had excellent service, and most importantly, the quality of the meat was exceptional. We ordered thinly sliced beef, two types of short rib and ribeye. The side dishes were phenomenal too.Dietary restrictions: One of my friends was gluten free, and eating here was easy since we just ordered non-marinated meat.“
“Owner was so kind and giving. We walk in and he takes our order quick. The food comes and we eat and it was very good. Owner was so nice and he quickly gave us free radish and a whole free platter of fries. Both were very good. He then graciously gave us free water. Amazing.“
“I came by with my friends around 7pm and there was only about one other group there. We ordered on the kiosk and sat down for our numbers to be called. I liked the self-service aspect of this place, it definitely made things more efficient. We all ordered a different dish and they all tasted great! The signature beef kooksoo (large) was very flavorful and a huge portion of noodles. My friend tried the galbi jjim and he said "fantastic/outstanding, I'd definitely eat again." My other friend tried the king rib jjampong and he said it had a delicious broth/noodles but the meat was alright (but still good overall). He felt that the "regular spicy" was the perfect amount of spicy. I definitely enjoyed the convenience of this spot and id definitely come back.“
“Such a cute Korean fusion brunch spot/cafe in Glen Rock! We stopped by around 9am on a Saturday and were lucky to get the last table without a wait. For drinks, we ordered their Strawberry Matcha Latte and their Sweet Corn Latte with Sweet Corn Cold Foam. Both drinks were made exactly how we liked them: not too sweet. I've been an avid corn latte fan after watching Single's Inferno 2, and it actually tastes pretty similar to the corn latte from Choi Jung Woo's cafe (iykyk). I would come back just for their drinks- and would love to try the injeolmi latte next. For food, we ordered their K-Street Toast and their K-Chicken and Waffles. Unfortunately, the waffles were pretty hard, but the chicken was tasty. The toast was simple but good! Note: - Reservations highly recommended, they tend to get pretty busy.“
“They're open! Love love this place. Does anyone know why they closed! I really hope it wasn't a health code violation...the place is not the cleanest haha. It's kinda like a dive but you know it's authentic comfort/after drinking food because of all the ajushis and ajummas who are eating here.“
“Stop by to get something quick to eat. I ordered some french fries and they were delicious, crispy, and hot, as fries should be. Definitely stopping by again to try their other food, would recommend. (Decent sized portion of fries too, don't mind the almost empty basket of fries, had already scarfed most of them down already ?)“
“The best pork cutlet restaurant. The best pork cutlet on the outside. I tried all of New Jersey looking for delicious pork cutlet. This is the best. I highly recommend it.Mulnaengmyeon is said to be a bit salty because it is made from pocha, but it was a bit salty to eat as food, so it was just that. The noodles were chewy and the soup had a thin ice.The boiled pork is perfectly moist and delicious. Highly recommended. The water ribs were truly disappointing. It was $45 for a small dish, but it felt like I was eating $45 bean sprouts. All I got were 10 pieces of marbled beef that looked like they were piled high on top.Inside is literally just a mountain of bean sprouts and nothing to eat. There are almost no other vegetables.Humanly speaking, that price is a waste of money. $45 is a rip-off.Still, I will go back to eat the pork cutlet stew.“
“Overall this place was a 4 stars. The food ranged from 3.5 to 4 depending on the items that we had. Limited beer options. They do not have draft beer and only bottle and not many options at all.The noddle with soup they give you on the house was pretty yum.We had the garlic fried chicken which had an excellent garlic flavor but the chicken itself was disappointing. It was very crispy but there was barely any meat! Bunch of breading with tiny measly pieces of chicken! What was that?! We ate a bunch of just fried dough. We also had the rolled egg omelette and that was pretty decent. We also had the chicken, beef and the shrimp skewers. All were pretty good but a bit pricy for the little skewers that you get.Now onto the vibe, spacious and not overly crowded with music that is not too loud. Service was friendly.Overall a solid spot. I wouldn't mind coming here again“
“Tl;dr great soup dishes, loads of meat, very small sitting area.Came here after a ski trip and was the perfect meal after a cold day. The sitting area was tiny and some dishes are takeout only but the soups they had available were delicious. Each dish comes with rice and it was loaded with meat.“
“Authentic Korean Food. Very good for the price. Their crispy fish lunch box is probably their best item in my opinion and it is just sooo good. The owners are super nice whenever me or my mom come in and I just love the feel of the place. You cannot sit in but when you walk in its a very homey feel. Definitely stop by.“
“A dependable spot for a quick bite of lunch. Their employees are always efficient and courteous. I frequently pick up either a kimbab or one of their lunch specials - delicious and great value. They recently put some work into upgrading their decor as well, so if you want to sit down and watch some Korean language television while you eat, also a good option“
“This is the first chicken restaurant I've been to since moving nearby, and it's so delicious! I ordered crispy chicken and soy sauce, and I'm very satisfied because it's not too spicy and doesn't smell like chicken! The owner was also friendly~ Highly recommended~“
“The food is outstanding and the staff is very friendly. Theyre very quick and alert. Had 3 servings of the duck with kimchi today and it was really good! My hands kept going for more even when i was full. Will definitely come back for more.“
“Our family's favorite korean chicken place to order from!! Try the cheesling flavor as I have not seen this available in other korean chicken places and it is finger lickin good. You will never experience this flavor in any regular American chicken places. Also the classic soy garlic flavor is savory and sweet. We can never decide which flavor to order so we go with a whole chicken half and half.Their portion is generous and their seasoning is just right. Friendly service and easy ordering.“
