Stumbled upon The New Frankie’s driving by and it is excellent Italian food. chicken Parm was thin, melt in your mouth and tender! The tomato sauce you could tell was homemade and delicious! The garlic knots were fresh, hot and very delicious. The atmosphere was very pretty and inviting. We will definitely be back time and time again!
I will start with the positive: the hit subs are very good and large. The chicken marsala sub was nearly everything I could have hoped for (more mushrooms would have made it perfect). The chicken parm with vodka sauce sub was also very good. As for the pizza, I was not impressed. Almost cracker thin crust, very little sauce, no seasonings and the sausage wasn't Italian sausage (no fennel). The interior is cozy and clean. The staff were attentive and polite. I ordered two pasta dishes and a large cold sub. When the food arrived it came messy. The sauce from the chicken pasta dishes got into or leaked into the cold sub getting the sub bread and everything else on the sub mixed In. Very sloppy. Called to ask for a new sandwich to be delivered and no one did anything about it.
