“Perkins is always my go to for a good breakfast/diner meal. Their coffee is the best, and they also have homemade baked goods that you can buy and take home with you too! (the chocolate silk pie is to die for) you're looking to spend about $50 for two people including coffee, drinks, app and two entrees. And it's in a shopping mall so there's plenty of parking and some shops to walk the food off afterwards, there's also an AMC there so it's a good spot to go for lunch before the movie or dinner afterwards.“

“I heard a lot about Jules@market. When the house jazz band was scheduled we took the opportunity to check it out. The ambiance was great. A subtitled film noir projected against one wall while the jazz trio played against the opposite wall. We loved that. There’s an open kitchen design which really works in an otherwise tight space. One small minus is that it could be vented better. I came home smelling like food. Having said that, the food was exceptionally good. I read some reviews that spoke about small portions. My response is- if you want tonnage, eat fast food or at a chain restaurant. Jules@market is not that. Everything was fresh and on point. One drawback- most restaurants that offer sparkling bottled water also offer flat. I was surprised that Aqua Panna wasn’t available but Pelligrino was available. We don’t drink tap water so I was forced to drink carbonated water which isn’t the greatest for my stomach. Had I known I would have brought my own. Now the service- the staff was super friendly. I left over 20% because of this. But, to put it bluntly they need training. The food is great, the prices are high, the ambiance is amazing. The service should match but it doesn’t. I’m being specific in this review because I love that Bristol is changing and growing and want this restaurant to really really succeed. So here are my comments:1) when people put utensils together to the side it indicates they are finished and the plate can be removed. When it is open and food remains don’t ask to take the plate. 2) Remove all dirty dishes promptly- out bread dishes and used butter stayed on the table the entire meal 3) clear the table before bringing dessert. Looking at dirty dishes while eating the most perfect key lime pie detracts from the experience. 4) timing could be better. We waited 25 minutes for our appetizers and then waited again for a side after being served our main courses at separate times. Have someone follow the server and put the entire course down together. 5) Not once were our water glasses refilled by staff. We poured the Pelligrino ourselves 6) Never bring the plastic bus bins onto the floor to clear a table. That’s for diners, not nice restaurants. Use a tray to remove dishes if need be.I eat at high end restaurants and the service makes the night. That’s why we tip and don’t get take out, we like to relax and have a pleasant experience. I’d love to come back and have the amazing food ( worth every Penny) and have the service be more on point.The food is perfect, fresh, tasty, excellent presentation. The staff couldn’t be friendlier- really lovely people. The ambiance is great, quaint and inviting. I gave a five star because I think the service just needs a little tweak.UPDATE: After posting my review I was contacted by a man saying he was the general manager. I’m not sure how he got my phone number but I wish he would not have called. He was positively berating me about how my review was damaging, he had 15 people to keep on payroll, his family was from Bristol, and I just wrote the review to benefit myself. I could barely respond. He was erratic and attacking. It was off putting considering my teenage son was in the car as he wouldn’t let up and was on speaker. At first I tried speaking with him. I felt my review was good, fair, and spoke very highly about everything except the service- which others have critiqued similarly here on google review. After five minutes of him venting I was still trying to make things right and asked if I could make a suggestion. His response was very rude. He said,” if you make it quick.” At that point I realized that whatever is going on in his life- he decided to take it out on me. I was done. I said,” Never mind. Have a good day.”I later heard that the jazz house band who I was seen talking to was fired and told that I complained about the music. That’s absurd and a lie. They were fired as some sort of weird retribution or maybe they can’t afford to pay them anymore and used me as a scapegoat. Either way this restaurant is not managed properly.“

“Staying at the Doubletree for the first time. Tried Redz the first night and have come back each night. Wayne, the manager, has been great. The bartenders Eric, Marissa, and Zack were very good also. So far the food has been yummy! Definitely coming back!“

“Our little celebration of my mom's 86th birthday turned into such a lovely evening at Seasons 52! Our reservation was kept for us as an accident caused us to be about 15 minutes late. Shortly after being seated the manager brought delicious amuse bouche for us as a special treat and our waitress arrived with complimentary champagne! The menu was amazing and among the 5 of us we enjoyed asparagus soup, lobster bisque, ahi tuna tartar and one of the many Flatbread choices to start the meal off. Three of us chose a cedar plank roasted salmon entree and two chose the caramelized sea scallops. Everything was wonderful and served on very hot plates which kept our food warm while we ate! The little dessert choices were amazing and a fantastic small size so anyone would have room left to eat it! Additionally, they easily accommodated one of our party in a wheelchair with just a mention when I made our reservation. I recommend you try to find a slower service time if anyone in your group is hard of hearing. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. on a Friday night and by 6:30 the restaurant was very busy and quite loud. “My daughter has Celiac disease and can't eat gluten. Jay's has a FANTASTIC menu for those with this problem! His gf pretzel rolls are to die for and the regular pretzel rolls are delicious too! They cook all of the gf food in a separate fryer. We love the gf chicken fingers too. Since all of the gf food has to go through a single cook, it's best to order that before hand because it might take a few extra minutes during busy times. Jay also gives back to the community with donations towards heating oil for those in need during Christmas times. It's an order up window only but there is an outside covered area where you can eat. They also have gf ice cream sandwiches and cakes. It's so nice to have a place that offers delicious fast food that is safe for all members of the family! The Fish and Chips were a great size and perfectly crispy, great fries! The Shepherds Pie was delicious! The soups, Seafood chowder and Beef Borscht were so yummy!! The only disappointment we had was that we bought baked goods as we were leaving and in the hustle and bustle of the entrance way, we didnt realize that we were given different brownies than we ordered. “We got the cheese steak cali style (with tomato, lettuce, onion, pickles, and mayo), a strawberry shake, and a root beer float. The cheese steak was really good: the cheese was nice and melty, there was a large portion of steak, the cali style had the perfect combo of veggies and I love the finishing touch of mayo on the roll. The root beer float was delicious and refreshing and normally, you can't beat a Stewart's root beer on a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream, however, the strawberry shake did (unfortunately) beat out the OG float for us. It was nice and sweet, refreshing, and had the right creamy consistency you'd expect from the perfect milkshake, it also had slices of strawberry mixed, which I thought was a nice finishing touch. Definitely will be grabbing a growler of root beer the next time we swing back to Vineland, NJ.“

May sound odd to some but shout out to CHS and go there if you're an alum reading this! Anyway...I saw eggs benedict. I can't count the times I've been left sad or questioned how the hollandaise was prepared. OMG my taste buds were so happy! My husband, one of the pickiest eaters on Earth demolished his potatoes saying this is the first time he ever had perfect potatoes. Atmosphere is chic and cozy. The staff is superb, attentive, and personable. We've been coming back just about every weekend now. One more thing - when you go, treat yourself to the most perfect omelet, ever.“

We were greeted by a friendly young lady who took our name and advised us of the wait time. It was a busy Saturday morning and I can say they were appropriately staffed both front of the house and back because that is the only way for them to turn the tables around so quickly. Our server, Tim, was a very nice young man who easily answered our questions about items on the menu and wasted no time taking our order without making us feel rushed. He updated us as to when our food would be coming out of the kitchen and checked on us a couple of times after we got our meal. The staff was very good at helping their team mate wrangle the cutest group of rambunctious little boys who were there with their parents. The kids were playing in a sports tournament in the area and came in for breakfast with their parents. A lot of staff went over and chatted with the kids briefly about their game and just interacted with them to help keep them occupied. It’s nice to see that team spirit from employees in the midst of a little chaos. Kudos to this team for making our first experience one that will keep us coming back.“

So why not breakfast with planes at the Runway Cafe?Located at the South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, this cafe is worth the 20 minute wait. We were well entertained by planes taking off and landing until our table was ready.We were seated at a booth with the best view (in my opinion). The staff was super friendly and attentive to our needs. My husband and youngest son both got the Jet Lag burger, my oldest son got French Toast and bacon, and I got the Campagnolo panini. “I’ve been here three times and each one was great. I made a reservation for my birthday dinner a few days early and had to add a few people last minute; they made it work and fit us all in. The lentil burger is delightful, the beer cheese in the pretzel platter and doghouse fries is delicious, and the feta and hummus appetizer is also delectable. Drinks are strong, staff is lovely.“

“I called ahead to schedule a team lunch for our out of state hockey team (total of 36 people, about half were kids). They were extremely accommodating, quick to respond, and set up a plan to make sure we were able to order and pay for each family efficiently.I sent our orders in 24hrs in advance by family hockey number and when we arrived, everything went so smoothly!!! Pitchers of water were already on the tables, additional drink orders quickly taken, and food started to come quickly. “Ordered a chicken pizza steak and fries. The fries were crispy and tasty though a little too salty. I had high hopes for the sandwich but it fell short for me. All of the sauce was on top of, not in, the sandwich and I didn't taste any cheese. They put a piece of clear wrap over the top which made the entire sandwich soak up the sauce causing the whole roll to be soggy. They also didn't cut it, which would have helped since it was being shared.“
