“We visited while in the area and found both the food and service to be outstanding. The sushi was very fresh and there are some inventive rolls on the menu. They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. The owner was accommodating and extremely friendly; she made sure to check on us several times during the meal. Highly recommend!“
“My husband and I live near by & finally went to Asahi Sushi Ramen! The service was wonderful, they were quick and answered any questions we had. The food was a 10/10 it looked & tasted delicious. It’s DEFINITELY worth stopping by. They have prices you can’t beat! The chicken teriyaki came out HOT (also came with a side salad & side of rice) and the presentation was great, the chicken ramen came in a large bowl and I had leftovers to take home! :)“
“If I could give this place a 10 I would. We used to go to this intimate BYO sushi place every friday on the way home from work. We would meet at the sushi bar and get to say hi to the regulars...felt like home. The owners are amazing, welcoming and remember their customers...what we like and don't like. I never had to tell them I wanted no ginger or a diet coke because they remembered exactly what I like. The fish is so fresh and the menu is very creative. The sushi chef puts his heart into every dish and is so happy for you to come up before you go to let him know how you loved your meal. This is our go-to when we have friends in town because we always know we will have a consistent level 10 meal and a really fun time. We miss going every week since we moved but we make sure to go visit our sushi fam as much as possible because we were so spoiled by them!“

I felt that everything that we ordered was decent and fresh. The only thing that bothered me was how rushed the service was because we came in close to closing time. “It is a friendly family business. We ordered hibachi, tom yum soup, and agedashi tofu. The hibachi was okay but a bit greasy. The agedashi tofu was very greasy. The tom yum soup used celery and carrots instead of the expected ingredients (i.e. no galangal, lemongrass, or lime leaves were detected). Thankfully, the soup was not greasy. Overall, though, most of the food tasted like greasy Chinese food (with some MSG and without douchi or shitake), and I would give it fewer stars, but it was a good amount for the price, and still edible after rubbing some grease away. I suspect the sushi is better but don't like raw fish. It came within 10 minutes despite other patrons being there, including pickup orders. I wouldn't return here, mostly because we almost ran someone over while driving there, who suddenly exited his car while he was driving in the middle of the street, and the food was not my type.“

“I very rarely eat in person dining here, no particular reason why , I just seem to order takeout with them the majority of the time. I have eaten in house though. Food is always consistently good. Always hot when I get home. Never once have they made a mistake on my order. One time I went to order via DoorDash for delivery and the restaurant actually called me because ordering through DoorDash was twice the price as ordering direct with them. Now the food it was super fresh it was freshly fried that was still a little warm still when I ate it. “First at buffet soon they opened. Place was super clean..food was hot and steamy. Everything was fresh. My favorite was the teriyaki chicken, oxtails, cheesecake, vermicelli abalone, beef short ribs, pork belly, and the salad bar. Kiwi and pineapples were super sweet and juicy.. strawberries and cantaloupe not so much. All in all everything was yummy EXCEPT the lobster... didn't like the mushy texture at ALL...worth the money. I spent 2 1/2 hours there and enjoyed my food. 9/10“

I felt as if I was being watched as I ate my meal and the second I took my last bite, the waiters quickly rushed over to clear my table as I was still chewing. This has happened every time I have been to this restaurant & it is very invasive. I understand that they have a 100 minute limit, but every time I have been, I’ve barely spent an hour there.
