“I have to say I really enjoy The Thirsty Turtle. Although it's a sports bar and you think it might just be cool to watch a game, the food and staff are excellent and professional. We went the other night and met friends for dinner and it was a fantastic experience! The waiter, (I don't remember his name), but he memorized our order and everything came out perfect! We had appetizers, burgers, beer & drinks, and enjoyed everything we ate and drank. I also have to call out Manny who went above and beyond in helping me. I can't even count how many espresso martinis I have gotten here over the past couple of years I've visited the adorable Morristown. The bartenders are very consistent with the drink making and I have never had a bad drink here. The ambience in the bar area is very sophisticated and the seating in the front of the bar is the perfect spot. I've also tried some small plates too like the burger bites which I would like to be snacking on right now. “Visited TOG to see the band Cold Hill (who were EXCELLENT). This is a smaller Irish bar/pub with a wonderful relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Bar tenders were great, friendly and pleasant. The bar is divided down the center, bar and open area, by a half wall with large opening so you are able to enjoy the band while at the bar or stand/sit in the open area. Music wasn't too loud, still able to talk with friends. Prices were good and I would really love to visit this place again ☘️Parking: We used public parking down behind the Morristown Diner. Large bar business and an extensive selection of tap beers. All reasonably priced. For dinner we ordered the Irish potato skins as an appetizer. These were very good. They were firm and well covered with toppings. Then we both ordered burgers. My wife had the patty melt and I had the Irish Cheddar burger. We both ordered them medium rare and they came out medium rare. Both burgers were very good and the Irish Cheddar burger came with a bun that was a perfect size for the burger. Before you go outside grab a cigar from their humidor. Then just chill out there in front of a big screen and watch your team win a game. They have a okay selection of cigars to choose from.
