“Went night before Valentine's. Got a great table. Our server, Jason, was fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and attentive. Food was amazing, as usual. The special, "Chatham Cod Casino" was beyond delicious. Excellent experience.“
“Awesome place, right on the water/marina. Today was a perfect day to dine al fresco and soak up the rays. The burgers/fries that we had were delicious, the drinks we had were terrific and our server, Taylor, was excellent.Parking was a bit iffy but we figured it out“
“Ate an early lunch here on a Friday, place was not busy at all. We thoroughly enjoyed the view, the ambiance and the food. My daughter had cheeseburger sliders, my husband had shrimp tacos and I had the fish tacos with some sort of spicy sauce. They were delicious. Minus one star because our very small unsweetened iced teas were $3 each and refills were charged. $15 on unsweetened iced tea was a tough pill to swallow when the plastic cup was overflowing with ice.“
“Great food, a little pricey as dinner for 2 with a 20% tip came in just under $200 (and we brought our own wine). I had the lobster bisque and the crab cakes entree (more crab than the usual fillers you get). Wife went for the duck confit ravioli appetizer and the lollipop pork chops entree. Nice romantic atmosphere is an upgrade over the old basic Reddington's decor that was there a decade ago.“
“We went to experience the famous burger. I was disappointed in the soggy bun. The onion gravy was delicious but made the bun fall apart and couldn't enjoy the cheese or the meat Maybe a harder roll would be better. The steak tartar was amazing seasoned and the parpadella small plate could eat as a meal. But the carrot cake OMG!! The BEST!! I would eat here again to get a very impressive salad and the carrot cake again!!“
“My family and are from California. We’ve been a JBJ fan since the beginning. We were visiting our son who is stationed at McGuire AFB. We took a family trip to JBJ Soul Kitchen because we wanted to give donation to the community. The servers were all very welcoming. The food was excellent! We all enjoyed the experience. Would definitely come back the next time we are in town.“
“I had the Octopus and Calamari in a delicious broth. I enjoyed it very much. Two family members had the Scallops special and they said it was very good. The other family member had the pork chop special and he loved it. Try the muscles appetizer, it’s phenomenal!!! Our waitress was knowledgeable and very polite. The dining room is clean but a bit cramped. The place is a bit small and noisy but it was a nice meal. It’s a byob establishment, bring some wine or beer and have a good time.“
“What a joy it was to go here. The staff went out of their way to serve me. They wrote "Thank You Mike" on my to go bag, smiled throughout, and even applied a generous discount as a member perk. I got a pork roll egg and cheese which was well above average as U can see!“
“While I no longer live in New Jersey, every time I visit my family, I try to stop by The Buttered Biscuit. It is truly one of my top 5 brunch experiences in the country, and I’ve had a lot of brunch experiences in my life. It’s always busy and humming with energy. The benedicts are divine, the coffee is incredible, and the biscuits are absolute heaven. Highly recommend a visit. It’s worth the wait!“
“If I had to describe the food I just had at Manera's, it could be done in two words: absolutely outstanding. I've been eyeing up Manera's since they first opened, and replaced the now-gone Famous Dave's BBQ. Having heard nothing but good things about it, and seeing that they had a steak au poivre burger - I knew I needed to give it a shot. Fast forward to today, and a quick lunch trip later, I'm officially hooked. I arrived at 12:00 on a Sunday, with the place absolutely chock full of patrons (they had two parties that had booked the place). Despite this, service was absolutely stellar, our waitress was incredibly attentive and helpful, and the food came out stunningly quickly for being so crowded. My burger came out exactly as I ordered it (medium rare), and I've gotta say, it might be one of the best burgers I've eaten in my life. On par with Pat Lafrieda burgers in terms of meat quality, and the sauce, brie, and char all lived in perfect harmony. I'll be thinking of that burger for weeks to come. Even the fries were perfectly cooked! Decor is a little sparse, which would be the only 'downside' I can think of. Personally, I dine out for food, not ambiance, so this isn't a huge deal to me. All in all, if lunch being THIS good was any indication, I'll certainly be back for dinners in the future. An absolute gem in a town that's full of entirely too many chain food restaurants, and one that I highly suggest folks give a try to. Absolutely top notch!“
“From the moment my amazing girlfriend and I walked into this quaint cafe, we fell in love with the vibes, decor, smells and more so, the people. They were so accommodating. They walked us through it all and ended up with the best breakfast. We're from Chicago and this place hit the spot! Cheers, Lava Java House ☕️“
“Absolutely one of our favorite go to places to eat for breakfast and lunch . It’s a place that we also love to go to not only for their food, but because they always make you feel so welcome and treat their customers like family. Highly recommend Connie’s .“
“One of my most favorite happy hours in town and even when you do have to pay full price it is always worth it. The Gin & Jam is the best cocktail ever and I always get the meatball bowl & vegan kale caesar salad. Could not recommend this place enough!“
“I bring my family here all the time. They have excellent dogs at a reasonable price. Haven't been disappointed yet.Parking: Large lot. There has always been a spot available near by.Kid-friendliness: My daughter loves going. She likes the food and always has a good time looking at the decor.“
“Very cool and hip breakfast and brunch spot that really experiments with traditional favorites. The chicken and waffles provide a level of comfort that only real comfort food can provide. The brisket sandwich is flavourful, but you can end up with too much gristle. The coffee options are excellent and tasty. A hint of cinnamon or nutmeg, depending on the drink, really makes the beverage something special. Service is generally good, but some servers are more genial than others. Outdoor seating is a great option when temps climb above 60 degrees.“
“We had an amazing experience dining at Charlie's. The service staff is extremely professional - best we've experienced in years, especially our waiter - wish we caught his name all we know is he's Brazilian, been there for 4 years, and is very proud to work there. Owners: Give that man a Gold Star. Our meal was fantastic. Very good tuna and salmon, cooked exactly as ordered and plated/served beautifully. No shrinkflation here, the portions are generous so lay off the bread basket if you can. The desert, a dark chocolate and choc mousse masterpiece, was the best desert I've had in my 6 decades of living, no exaggeration. We will definitely return to Charlie's!“
“I come here all the time with friends and family and i have never had a bad experience here. The food is always banging and the service is always quick and very pleasant. On top of all of that the restaurant is always spotless and trendy! We are always greeted with a friendly warm smile by host Michelle. And we have been lucky with great service from Molly, and bussers! Thank you guys for a wonderful experience!!“
“Amazing food with a hearty selection and very friendly service. It has a cozy inside with a hometown diner feel. It is not a large space and I wouldn’t go with a party larger than 6 if you want to sit together. I only wish I had gone here sooner after moving to the area. Highly recommend to anyone!Vegetarian options: Plenary of options to ask for dishes to have no meat included in themParking: Plenary of open spots on both sides of the restaurant“
“My wife and I dine here frequently and absolutely love this place !! whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is great and service is excellent , the staff and owner make you feel like family !! Highly recommend , you will thank me !!! ")“
“I have passed this place many times and can't believe I've been sleeping on it! Romantic, cozy, and the food is great. Our server, Eric, was great! Celebrating my sisters birthday dinner was a success. We had the oyster special and arancini balls, dinner for me was the salmon fettuccine. The chocolate cheesecake for dessert was the perfect way to end our meal. Thanks for a great experience - we will definitely be back!“
“From ownership/management to the cooks to the people taking your order, Hoagitos is the epitome of what a great local business is all about! They’ve been killing it for as long as they’ve been around, and always continue to get better and better every time we go there (which is often ?).Also- FUBAR fries. Don’t think- just do it!“
“We have driven passed Capsized Cafe many times, without turning in. Talk about missing the boat! We were looking for a fresh take on breakfast, out, and when we did the Google thing...up popped this eatery.Read many of the glowing reviews and headed over to try it for ourselves. Glad we did. Coupled with great food and super pleasant staff, the atmosphere has that 1950s and '60s eclectic shore coolness.Go there! If not today then go soon.“
“We went here for Lunch on St. Patrick's Day and I'm extremely happy we went. The service was amazing and the wait staff was very attentive. The menu was just right and we were able to navigate through with no problems. The Raw Oysters were AMAZING very meaty and as fresh as if they just picked them outta the bay. They had a Special CORNED BEEF HANDBURGER SPECIAL that perfect for the day. SLANE Irish whiskey had a special crew there and we were able to secure the date in time with our custom etched whiskey glasses.“
“Try the blueberry pancakes BECAUSE they are more than just regular pancakes with lonely blueberries on top. If you are a fool for French Toast GO HERE because their selections will make you wanna bury your face in the plate. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. Wherever you are coming from this place is worth the trip.“
“My waitress Megan was extremely pleasant and was checking up on us while we ate, which was nice as we needed a few additions to our order. The food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing for a Sunday brunchtime. I recommend this cafe and will come back again.“
“The Shore Spot is always on point. Whether it’s a Greek salad, Nashville Hot Chix Sandwich, or an entree you can’t go wrong. Frank genuinely cares about the food he puts out. If you haven’t tried the “place” at the little league field in Manasquan you are missing out.“
“Had the pleasure of having brunch here for Easter. Great set up. Lots of great dishes with Prime Rib and ham ( both cooked perfectly ) on the carving station. Salmon and mussels were fantastic. Pastas were great. Server ( Masha )was so sweet and efficient. Can’t wait until next year!“
“The place is very relaxed The food is really good. Everything's fresh. Made in house. The prices are certainly reasonable. I would definitely return to this place again. I really liked the food options and the innovative concepts with their “
“I came into Pops corner because I work from home and was looking for a new spot to get out of my house and have a nice working lunch. As soon as I walked in I loved the atmosphere, it was super clean, bright, coastal, and inviting. The food was absolutely delicious and service was on it as soon as I sat down. I started with the chicken noodle soup and the stock was super good and the noodles weren't too much - loved the broth. I also really love the pico de gallo and queso fresco on the avocado toast- the eggs were perfectly cooked over easy and the yolk melted into the yummy sourdough. I finished off with a chai latte to go. I'll definitely be back! Thank you for an awesome experience.“
“I grew up coming here and haven't been in years. The food hasn't changed and it was really enjoyable. Extensive menu for an Irish pub and it was all good. Kids menu was good. The Reuben was my favorite. The service was good and the ambience was an authentic Irish pub flare.“
“Jean, our server was pleasant, high energy, fast, quick witted, most attentive and will become your best friend as soon as you meet her. Food and cocktails were outstanding !! Live music by Andy Russo was a pleasant surprise - playing all of our favorite Bruce songs with a special guest joining him playing Stevie Nicks Landslide! Mr C’s was one of the most pleasant dining experiences we’ve had since we’ve moved to Asbury park. This dining experience will not disappoint! We will be back in the near future and cannot wait to be back here in the summer and go up to the sunset deck!“
“We recently hosted my husband's 50th Birthday at the Elbow Room and it was amazing. The staff was incredible along with the food and ambiance. The staff ensured that every single detail was handled perfectly from start to finish (even coordinated with our outside vendors). All of our guests really enjoyed themselves and we look forward to hosting more events here in the future!“
“Very good food here. Super friendly owners and super clean place. Menu on the website needs to be updated to show current menu prices which are higher. Need better tasting coffee(I'm a bit of a coffee snob though) Had breakfast here , next time I'll try dinner. Go here and check it out for sure!“
“When I ate at Jersey Mike's around the corner their tasted like paper. I took it and placed it in water and it dissolved. Their was nothing on my sandwich. Their prices may be cheaper but you are getting less than a SUBWAY SANDWICH. Mike's was the second original store. The point Beach store owned by Pete Cancro decided to franchise but Bobby Pable who owns the Belmar one stayed original. Bobby has been there now for over 42 years. Bobby is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The staff comes with years of professional experience. Great personalities. I now live in Florida. I grew up in Belmar. When I visit, I always get their famous cheese steaks.Jersey Mike's can use all the celebrities they want just like subway it will never deter me from going to Bobby Pables shop.?????“
“Dedicated Gluten-free restaurant, if you are Celiac or just have gluten intolerance you can eat here without worry of kitchen cross contamination. I LOVE the Turkey Burgers here, they come with a very nice Arugula salad on the side. Bun is toasted to perfection and the patty is cooked beatiful with a nice slight char on the outside but still juicy on the inside. My only wish is that Turkey Burgers be available for dinner as well. I usually order two at lunch and save the other in fridge for later. Reheats really nice in the oven at 325. I also LOVE the Brownie's, please never get rid of them! ?“
“Agree with other reviews that it’s pricy but I think you get what you pay for. I’ve gotten worse meals for the same price. Order at the counter, pick your seat, and they bring your order to you. It’s cramped inside, though, wouldn’t recommend going as a party of more than 3 or 4“
“WOW!!!!!!! What a culinary delight for the mind body and soul!! From start to finish was impeccable. Warm greeting with beautiful surrounding made this meal 5 stars. With the open air kitchen, you become 1 with the chef's working to prepare very different and scrumptious meal you won't forget! “
“Yum!! Spring is almost here and we stopped by Sundaes for delicious ice cream. Lots to choose from! I had a small Salty Sea Captain Sundae which was generous with lots of hot fudge and Geoff had a scoop of Brownie’s Irish Cream. This was our second time there, again, delicious. Lots of kids. There is plenty of parking. The ice cream shop is accessible. There are plenty of benches outside, but this is mostly a take out. If you’re looking for ice cream cakes, they have many!“
“Heard all the buzz about the She Shed and had to check it out. The decor and vibe is fresh and fun, the owner and staff add to the “Good Vibes”. Then comes the food... the arugula flatbread with fig was one of the best I’ve had. The homemade rice pudding did not disappoint. Grab your friends and treat yourself to a good time! Great addition Arnold Ave .“
“Harvest is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. True local, farm fresh ingredients, cooked & served by locals who have a passion for their craft. The menu is always changing, which I love. The options blend between classic and refreshing new dishes that pop with flavor. The service is very friendly and welcoming. My favorites have been the short rib, apricot&goat cheese crostini, and the recent mole pork chop. The entree sides have been perfectly paired to round off plates flavor & nutrition profile. I feel so great after eating here, this is nutrient dense food no doubt. I'm not a big dessert guy but my friend insisted we split the chocolate mousse cake. Absolute heavenly! Not too heavy, went perfectly with coffee to end a delicious meal.I can't wait to go back here especially in the summer when the farm is in full swing. Thank you Harvest, you rock!!!Parking: There's parking in the back that can fill up pretty quickly. Try to arrive a little early“
“Me and my boyfriend go every week on our day off! We love going for breakfast we normally get the #2 their food is amazing and the prices are great as well! Love talking to the staff they are very personable and the atmosphere is nice as well! Highly recommend!“
“Cute small place with great service. Greeter is welcoming, table was ready a few minutes after reserved time. Appetizers yummy, Artichoke special and portable stuffed with crab meat. The complimentary crostini is absolutely perfect. We ordered two chicken dishes and one veal and servings were large in a big bowl style plate. BYOB, I am glad I brought reds and a white to pair with the choice. The place was loud, tables who knew each other almost at screaming level in a small space but hey, it's an Italian restaurant. Kinda expected it. Total bill for three people was around 170 (210 with tip. Cash price which we paid is 4 percent t less then a card) Go, be part of their Italian family for a night!“
“I only had the beer so I cannot comment on the food, though...the reviews on that are fruitful and quite good.If you grew up in the Woodbridge-Metuchen-Edison area, you definitely hit up Hailey's on more than one occasion. D'Arcy's has the same vibe, just closer to the Jersey shore. "Football" scarves are in abundance, great crowd, great beer. What more could you ask for? The Irish are the best...or maybe I'm just a little biased. Slainte.“
“First time and perfect. I highly recommend Mugsy's for hand crafted sandwiches, soups, and juices. I had the Steakhouse Melt, Turkey Shawarma, and a Purple Rain juice. I also tried the spinach and artichoke dip soup. I'm going back as soon as I get a chance. It was all delicious ladies. Thank you.Vegetarian options: Options were explained immediatelyDietary restrictions: Gluten free options were offered before I even ordered“
“I've lived in Point Pleasant my whole life and nowhere else has ever been as good to me as Klotz's. Every single meal here-- breakfast or lunch, has been so good. Nowhere else has the local lunch counter feel like Klotz's does. And in case you've heard about their famous Myth, yes, it is THAT good. I also adore the patty melt. It's cash only and that's fine by me for how wonderful eating there is!“
“Really cute place! They have paintings inside on the walls that you can buy. The food was good. The soup of the day was delicious! The waitress was very sweet and we had no wait. Food came out quick. Nice place for a quick bite or some coffee.“
“We had a family party in the back room and it was great. The room was perfect, they have doors that can close it off to keep it private. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent with very generous servings. They want above and beyond for a very reasonable price. I will be using the place again for a private party or just to have dinner.“
“We just discovered this bar. It was recently refreshed - Clean, comfortable, and bright. Forget the old McCann's. Yay! A real happy hour - 12-6 every day. We're eating through the menu. So far, everything is excellent! We've had the wings - so fresh and hot. Quesadilla was hot and a generous portion. Shepherds pie to die for. Maryann is awesome.“
“Had a great second visit to Sea Grass! As mentioned in other reviews this restaurant is BYOB, so we started with our wine (which they nicely brought an ice bucket for) and the oyster special. My boyfriend really appreciated how the oysters weren't overly salty and the pear glaze added a good flavor. Since we had such a large appetizer, we decided to split the halibut for our entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out two plates, pre-split for us. The halibut had a nice herb crust and was served over lobster risotto (and they definitely did not skimp on the lobster!!). Overall, lovely dining experience!“
“Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The portions are big and tasty, also they have something for everyone!!! The menu is large with plenty of choices, so come take a sit, look over the menu and enjoy one of many delicious options. You can't go wrong definitely recommend.“
