“I very rarely eat in person dining here, no particular reason why , I just seem to order takeout with them the majority of the time. I have eaten in house though. Food is always consistently good. Always hot when I get home. Never once have they made a mistake on my order. One time I went to order via DoorDash for delivery and the restaurant actually called me because ordering through DoorDash was twice the price as ordering direct with them. I think that's great customer service if you ask me.“

“Every single dish was so unique, flavorful, filling and exceeded our expectation. Our favorites were the soft shell grab sandwich CEC sandwich and the thick cut bacon dish. The service was also great for how busy they were at closing time. They even gave us free chicken for our wait. Will definitely be back here soon!!“

“My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent... edamame, tuna avocado salad, Congo roll, New York roll, tuna roll and salmon roll. Service was wonderful. We weren't rushed and food came out quickly. I'm definitely bringing my husband here the next time we visit my sister.“
“Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've tried in some time. first time having Taiwanese food. very simple with some amazing flavors. we ordered the Crab/Pork soup dumplings as soon as we sat down. simply the best I've had. the Cucumber salad with hot chili oil, fantastic !!! Popcorn Chicken was the first chicken of its kind that didn't need a sauce. the meat was crispy and moist and held its own without a sauce. Taiwanese sausage was served with sliced garlic. simple a delicious !!!! we also had the fried pork soup dumplings which were incredible !!!! Can't wait to go back and try their entrees. Restaurant was packed when we arrived for lunch and stayed that way. Service was impeccable. Next time I'll make sure to make a reservation !!!!“

Tasty soup was provided (on the house) with our dumpling appetizer. Both entrees were offered with a specification of spice/heat level from "1" to "5". The "4" was pleasantly spicy and not overwhelming.Would highly recommend visiting but you may want to call in advance for large groups considering their small seating capacity at any moment.“
“I took my very good friend Gary to Kyoto’s to celebrate his birthday. We both had the Sushi Deluxe which was exquisite! Nancy was our server. Her service was excellent. The owner came over to wish Gary a happy birthday and they even made us fried Oreo’s for a delicious birthday desert. It was a wonderful time. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend going to Kyoto’s.“
“We have several Thai places around where I live in Maplewood that are 10 minutes away but we go out of our way to go to Summit Thai, the food and service are always great; it's worth the drive. We love their Maple Street dish, along with the pad thai and red curry.“

While I enjoy both places, this one definitely won on portion, which was my main complaint about the other one (too small). A very nice surprise!Order at the counter or on their self-order screen. Counter order-taker was friendly and cheerful. Food came out within 5 minutes and I sat at a table in the window. Was the only one dining-in, although they were doing a decent pick-up business.I ordered the spicy bowl and it was excellent. It comes with a generous portion of spicy tuna, spicy kani (crab stick) and spicy shrimp over rice, cucumbers, jalapeño, seaweed and tobiko. We walked in on a busy Saturday evening and the place was packed! We did not have a reservation and were seated at the bar. The dishes were all amazing as usual, but the service was truly impressive. Even though we waited for a while for our food, Wendy was very attentive and had a complimentary appetizer prepared for us. It was a great evening and I would highly recommend!“

“You definitely don't go here for the atmosphere-you go for the food. It was a cold night and I was in the mood for some ma la flavors to get warm. I had seen this restaurant a couple of times so decided to give them a try. It is a small place, with four tables that seat four people, and a couple that seat two. One of the side walls is covered with printouts of a number of the dishes, which can be helpful for those that don't know what some of the dishes look like. There is only one person working both the register and the tables, so patience is appreciated here. Did I mention earlier that I was cold? We walked over from the parking lot under the highway (free on Saturday nights) and was very chilled by the time we entered. Cold and hungry, we ordered lamb with cumin and ma la pot chicken. My companion ordered snow pea tips and vegetable mei fun. To start, we split an order of pan fried vegetable dumplings. The waitress checked to be sure that we wanted all that food for two people-the ma la pot chicken alone is big enough to split between two people (or one VERY hungry person). Reassuring her that we wanted all that food, we settled down to wait. The dumplings came out first, and we are still trying to decide what the filling was comprised of. Carrots, cabbage and....daikon? Not sure, but it was delicious and increased our expectation for the rest of the meal. Next came the ma la pot chicken and I immediately understood why she wanted to confirm our order. I definitely was not finishing all of that in one sitting. The chicken had some lovely crunchy bits around the edges and while the dish itself is dry, the chicken was not. The ma la flavor filled my mouth and warmed my stomach. Lamb with cumin is a great dish to pair with rice, and half a bowl of rice was gone before I even blinked. My companion noted that their vegetable mei fun was flavorful and not oily although the snow pea tips could have been more tender. Overall, the meal was flavorful and a prefect choice on a cold night. I need to come back here and try out a couple more dishes that I usually order, and try a new one or two (spicy and sour potato, shredded???). Yes please!!“
“Been a few times now to eat in and grab take out. The people are always friendly and helpful in both scenarios. We've gotten a couple different ramen bowls and poke/burritos. Food is always tasty and generously portioned. Only minor complaint I've ever had is that the eggs in the ramen could be a little less cooked for me but otherwise everything else has been great.“
