They have several tea options, one of which is the Flower Tea, a beautifully fragrant mix of organic leaves of jasmine, rose, lavender, chamomile and marigold which my daughter and I found to be soothing and totally hit the spot on a chilly rainy night. “Tasty food with lots of choices for the whole family. We did takeout for 5 items: --Wok Fried Noodles - bouncy and satisfying! --Bao Sampler Platter - Really good, especially with chili oil! This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)“

“Came to check out this place with my co-worker one day and ordered a variety of different rolls and sashimi. The one that I enjoyed the most was the Yummy Maki roll. I felt that everything that we ordered was decent and fresh. The only thing that bothered me was how rushed the service was because we came in close to closing time. Other than that I had a pleasant experience coming here and wouldn't mind coming again. The ambience of the restaurant is very quiet and you could get a good view of the sushi bar depending on where you sit.“

Be careful not to go crazy ordering because if you leave a lot of food on the table they can charge you. Extra if there is any left over you can take home for 5 or 10 dollars. Now it looks like they pared down the menu and only do the common Americanized Chinese food items. But they do it well. If you were to get a shrimp lo mein from TS Ma or Hunan Taste in Montclair, and compare it to the shrimp lo mein at Lotus Oriental, it'll pretty much be the same, only LO will be a lot cheaper.“

“Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've tried in some time. first time having Taiwanese food. very simple with some amazing flavors. we ordered the Crab/Pork soup dumplings as soon as we sat down. simply the best I've had. the Cucumber salad with hot chili oil, fantastic !!! Popcorn Chicken was the first chicken of its kind that didn't need a sauce. the meat was crispy and moist and held its own without a sauce. Taiwanese sausage was served with sliced garlic. simple a delicious !!!! we also had the fried pork soup dumplings which were incredible !!!! Can't wait to go back and try their entrees. Restaurant was packed when we arrived for lunch and stayed that way. Service was impeccable. Next time I'll make sure to make a reservation !!!!“
