“If you’re looking for amazing authentic Puerto Rican food, Freddy’s is the place to get it. While I have been to a few other spots, Freddy’s has the taste of Puerto Rico in every dish I’ve tried. The mofongo, arroz con pollo and lechon asado and you can not leave without a mango smoothie! A must have if you want to know what it tastes like if you could stick a straw directly into a mango and drink from it. The only con I’d mention is the location and parking is limited in the parking lot. Although there is side street parking if necessary”

“When I say, "I love Crown", I LOVE Crown Fried Chicken. Not all locations though, just this location. The chicken is always good, I don't know what they soak and coat that chicken in but it makes the chicken very flavorful and tender - even the breast are juicy.

Parking: Now listen, you may not get a spot close to the entrance and sometimes not even on that block. But it's worth it to park on the next block and walk up the street, please put something on the meter just to be on the safe side.”

“What more can I say about this establishment. I was blessed to be in the presence of the owner and daughter of this reputable Italian restaurant. When I arrived to the place, I didn't think much of it. I thought it was just another place to buy a cheesesteak. But oh no, was I caught off guard and was very surprised.

I was greeted very well by both, Mr. Vito(aka. "Bert" as everyone calls him) and his daughter. I went to the easy-to-read menu board and ordered a cheesesteak with fries. While I was waiting on my food, I started talking to Mr. Vito (who doesn't like to be called mister) and his daughter and the stories he told me were amazing.

I love the father and daughter interaction while he was telling me his story, and I love how his daughter was backing up his stories. Mr. Vito explained to me about his cooking methods and how he preps for the day, and while I was waiting on my food to be prepared, Mr. Vito showed me the way he cooks.

His daughter is a real salesman, she introduced me to her father's newest creation, "The Vegi Chicken Burger." It's made from real chicken where he pulls out all the fat and other parts of the chicken.

Anyway, I ordered the Vegi Chicken Burger and it was so good. This chicken burger is not a regular chicken patty that you get from some grocery store or food warehouse, this chicken burger is made in house and it's a perfectly thick portion of a patty.

If you need to change how you eat and want food that will not raise your blood pressure, (Vito told me that he does not add seasonings to his food but will add seasoning upon request) then I suggest you come down to Bert's Steak & Sub House, a real and authentic Italian Restaurant.”

The baked potatoes with special toppings of choice,the chips or grilled chicken salads are great, cheese steaks delicious, buffalo wings etc. they take cash or credit you can dine in or outside. They have delivery as well a parking lot and on street parking also . You won't be disappointed!

“Most of the time it's pretty good. Every now and then though they're just okay. And rarely the chicken tastes rubbery, but maybe 1 out of 10 times. I still risk going there on that off chance, especially for the lunch specials. ~$7 a good-sized portion of rice and meat/veggies, and a can of soda. Take-out only and I always pay with cash.”

“I NEVER even knew the Croc Center had a cafe inside. One day after completing my walk/jog (Ben Frank) I decided to see what DoorDash had to offer in the area, this place stood out because they’re menu had some good name for their dishes lol ALL TOWNS FROM MY CITY♥️ so I had to try! First up for sure was the Pollock sensation and that was so good. Next week I believe I had EastCamden Connection definitely didn’t disappoint either!!! I think it was 10 bucks, and both bowls left me full and satisfied! Wish this create some fresh drinks as well! Check them out if you haven’t.. update pics next go round”

“Been dealing with Lynn's Bakery since 1970.This Bakery has the best cakes ever, I've tried so many Bakerys in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and there's no one like Lynn's Bakery. They even made my wedding cake in 1978.”

The platers are really good sizes I can share with my kids if I want everytime we go we are happy, unlike other places they leave you unsatisfied and mad. They are really pocket friendly too. Parking: Some people are really possessive about their parking spots and we'll come out and yell at you or try to fight you. I had a bunch of guys get behind my car and say I couldn't leave until I paid the money lol. I told him I was getting that 1 way or another and read the engine and slammed in reverse and I got away. He also lefto watch out for the police. I will park on one side and walk to the other to get my drugs . Because when I parked in front of the set, 2 days in a row cops flew up to me and started screaming at me”

The food came out fast and was absolutely delicious. To top it off, Riccardo came out to talk with us and offered his next level honey spicy garlic bread. I thought it was really flavorful but initially it was too spicy for my liking. But we took it home and I warmed it up in the oven this afternoon and I couldn't get enough of it! It gets better the next day! If you're at Fort Dix and looking for recommendations for pizza, you gotta order Riccardo's tomato pie. Oh and the wings? Top notch, trust us, you won't be disappointed.”
