“Golden stop has become my home away from home. I love it all, from the cozy atmosphere to the friendly environment to the delicious food. My favorite is the breakfast sammy. I am so thankful for all of their gluten free options. When I’m needing a pick me up, I love searching through the fridge of freshly pressed organic juices. There is something for everyone. ❤️Dietary restrictions: So many options for those of us with dietary restrictions!!“

“We have been coming here for our morning coffee and pastries for many years whenever we visit Cape May. The take out service is always friendly, courteous and very efficient. The coffee is wonderful and the pastries are warm and delicious. The pain au chocolat is better than i've had from any pastry shop...including Paris! A must try is the cinnamon bun/muffin creation...my go to.“

“My wife and I are frequent customers and enjoy the coffee and tea that they serve up! My wife is a coffee drinker and LOVES their coffee. Yunnan black tea has a great taste too! Unlike most places that brew tea, theirs actually has great taste!I like tea and find most place do tea as a second thought thinking that giving any swill called TEA checks the box. If those places served coffee as bad as their tea they’d be out of business.Out There gets it ?%! Kudos and thank you.“

Tommy's Folly Café Cafe • $$
200 Congress Pl, Cape May

“Really cool old hotel. Lots going on. Restaurant on site is ok. Service was great. There’s also a blues bar on site which is pretty cool. There is a nice sitting area in the lobby. You can grab a drink at the outside bar, or from the restaurant and hang out in the lobby. It’s like being on a movie set because everything is so of a period in time. Location is excellent as it’s right in town adjacent to the Washington Street Mall. The rooms are old of course but they are nicely appointed with Wi-Fi etc. Beds are super comfortable. I would stay there again.“

“My wife and I loved having breakfast at this family owned business. There is a friendly vibe that makes you feel welcome, and that you are appreciated. The staff is kind, and genuinely interested in pleasing the customers. I loved how they interacted with the locals and their regulars, like they were all part of their extended family. But most importantly, the bagel and egg sandwich was the best I’ve ever had- anywhere. Real, fresh eggs, cheese, and bagel. Nothing frozen or processed. I wish that I didn’t live so far away, because I would be there every morning.“

“I visit Coffee Tyme every morning when I visit Cape May. Thier coffee selection is phenomenal whether you want a dark espressso or just a plain drip coffee. My favorite is the daily rotating flavors because I can't get these at home. They are unique all I do is add cream and splenda, not some sugar syrup. (see pic for flavors). They were very accommdating when we asked for a special request for our wedding this past June. One of our specialty drinks was an espresso martini and our venue did not have the ability to make fresh espresso. The manager put me in contact with the owner and I asked if it would be possible for them to brew 30oz of espresso the afternoon of the wedding. Not only was he happy to do so, he explained for me not to let it sit and get room temp, but to refrigerate it asap to have the best flavor. The bartenders used every drop!“

“Shout out to Caitlin for the most INCREDIBLE customer service. She was willing to get a (very expensive) parking ticket to make sure we had the best experience at the bakery. Caitlin was so nice and patient as we decided what to order and gave us great recommendations. The cinnamon bites were delicious and I’ll be thinking about that sticky bun for weeks to come!“

“Absolutely stop in here and recharge!! If you love coffee, which I feel like you must if you're reading this (?), you do not want to miss this place! The coffee drinks we ordered here were the very best I've tried in probably decades. I had the bananas foster latte and my fiance had dark roast coffee. The latte didn't taste artificial or sweet, so naturally and subtly flavored with nothing outdoing the taste of a fantastic rich espresso. The coffee was similarly rich and just oh-so-flavorful. I enjoyed every drop of mine and most of my fiance's ? I don't normally rave but I'm definitely raving.Making the whole experience even better was the fantastic, friendly service from Jewels and Marissa! These two lovely baristas were quick, professional, made our drinks to perfection, and didn't kick out my fiance no matter how many cheesy jokes he made: Thank you ladies, You should get raises!! ?“
