“When you have a menu that works, stick with it. And that's exactly what Mia does. Oh she'll charm you with delectable, exquisitely created specials to keep us on our toes, but it's the steak and seafood that continue to excel. We dined on the filet and small so African lobster that we're done to perfection. And this was at the end of the evening, when everyone is tired and beat. The corn fritter app was good, although I think the shrimp could have been slightly larger and the tails kept on for texture, but that's just me (and it's not my restaurant). The bread, salad and dessert included were each individually sublime. No doggie bags needed from us. Never felt rushed, however, we didn't feel entirely embraced either. With such a special dining destination, I like to feel special. Because the food says it's so. The ambience is California chic. Soft. Romantic. A tad noisy, but certainly doable. Wonderful overall and I'd highly recommend! Looking forward to future visits.”
“Easy 5 stars, maybe 6. Shayna was the HIGHLIGHT of our evening. Her spiel was perfect, timing was impeccable, she was interested in what we had to say and had all the answers to our questions. Top notch server! Would HIGHLY recommend to request her as your server. Also, Ian was a super nice young gentleman who has a quick eye, polite demeanor, and takes the lead when the need is seen. Had tuna tartare, which was 10/10 until the amuse boosh arrived, on the house, and was exceptionally exquisite. Finished with short rib and fosters which were both outta this world. Will be dining here again!!”
“Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. We have dined here multiple times and never have had a bad meal. Most recently we attended the game dinner which was a culinary art. Each course was more delicious than the next. The service was impeccable and the charming ambiance makes for a memorable experience. Highly recommend!”
“I really don't leave reviews very often, but this was one of the best meals I have ever had, and I don’t say that lightly. Every single thing we had was incredible; the calamari was the best I’ve ever had, and the seafood risotto and homemade key lime pie was to die for. I would come here every single time I come to Cape May from now on. Our server, Dajan, was excellent as well and was extremely professional. My girlfriend and I couldn’t celebrate together for Valentine’s Day because I had covid, so today was the day we could finally celebrate together down at the shore and it was perfect. 10/10 would recommend.”
“Great food , fair prices. Unique dishes. I had shri.p and crab bisque and the filet tip sandwich with roasted red peppers shredded cheese. It was delicious. Our whole table-4 adults and 3 children had a wonderful meal. Server was GREAT. Had to wait about 20 minutes even with. Reservation but honestly that isn't bad. Much longer during the season. Highly recommended!”
“From the food to the service this place is amazing! The margaritas were BOMB. Their mexican street corn and brisket tacos were to die for! Everything was so tasty and the live music vibe was the perfect touch. Our waitress Stephanie made the experience even better- she was super attentive and awesome at giving honest recommendations for food and drink.”
“A very unique dining experience. All of the dishes were wonderful. Service was great too. Would definitely recommend coming back to try the seasonal food. Make a reservation, you won't be disappointed!”
“Vintage is an experience in Cape May you don't want to miss! The food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and top notch. We are looking to return in the warmer months to experience the outdoor ambiance.”
“Golden stop has become my home away from home. I love it all, from the cozy atmosphere to the friendly environment to the delicious food. My favorite is the breakfast sammy. I am so thankful for all of their gluten free options. When I’m needing a pick me up, I love searching through the fridge of freshly pressed organic juices. There is something for everyone. ❤️Dietary restrictions: So many options for those of us with dietary restrictions!!”
“What a great spot. Great beers and had a great time chatting with Steven and Jake. So glad to have a quality brewery on our frequent route for van trips, we will be back!”
“15Mar-As we were big fans of the previous occupant, The Merion Inn, while in town we decided to take a chance and try this new place.Called for an early dinner and greeted by a very friendly and humorous gentleman who set us up with a table just around the corner from the bar w/live music.Opened with wine and of course, a Bloody Mary.Excellent choices and the Bloody was mixed in house (no pre-mix), Big plus.It was a bit light with the add ons but made up for it in flavor. It was extra spicy and delicious.Highly recommended. Our entries included scallops with whipped sweet potatoes and green beans.I had the special, Halibut w/couscous in a cream sauce. We can't say enough about our meals. Both were absolutely outstanding as was the service.Big props to KellyShe helped make our dinner fun and after our long drive, it was a pleasure. We finished with their own cinnamon ice cream over apple cobbler.Again, excellent.A bit pricey but, worth every penny.Remembering you are a stone's throw from Cape Mays pristine beaches.Great service, great meal, great atmosphere. We will absolutely return.5 Solid StarsHighly recommended”
“02/14/2024 Located in The Hugh B&B, my wife and I, my sister and brother in law all enjoyed a very nice meal... with excellent service. My wife started with the Baked South Bay Salt Oysters, which she raved about for days after. I had the beet salad. Good, but no raving happening. My wife and I both had the Bouillabaisse, which was terrific. My SIL had the Duck l'orange, while my BIL had a 'pasta of the day'. It's a little tight sitting where we were, but the service was terrific. We were a little disappointed that there was no decaf coffee to be had. Not sure if they were out, but it seemed more like decaf just wasn't on the menu. Make plans for this wonderful BYOB restaurant.”
“Went for breakfast. I had my first ever egg's benedict with crab cake and it was SO DELICIOUS! The crab cake was the best I have ever had and it came with a large portion of fried potatoes. Great coffee and wonderful service. Highly recommend! Will come back again for breakfast and lunch too!!!”
“Atmosphere was great , employees were kind. A little annoyed that the hummus was described as ‘Israeli ‘ hummus . Hummus is Arabic , cultural appropriation at its finest lol”
“Our new favorite in Cape May! Such a great option for a quiet dinner out as a couple. Loved our food—pork tenderloin and lobster orecchiette were delicious, as was the waffles and ice cream dessert. Can’t wait to come back!”
