We happened upon Freda’s by chance after just arriving in Cape May and we had an amazing experience! We each enjoyed different soup specials and split the crab cake entree. The food was incredible and the ambience of sitting on the patio was delightful! A special thanks to our server Eddie who made us feel welcomed!

At $50 entrees,$20 appetizers (and kids' meals!), there are expectations. The food was very very good, though the halibut was overcooked. Loved the seafood bisque. The staff was kind and friendly, but was dreadfully slow and inattentive. Server came by only to give us next course which were each a half hour in between. When the kids are done with their meals before we've gotten salad, there's a problem. If you're going to price like a Michelin star restaurant...

The food here has almost always been amazing, and I’ve been coming for years. The staff has always been amazing as well, definitely worth the price!

Vegetarian options: My mother is vegetarian and has no problem finding a dish every time we come here.
