Soup near Carteret

“I am so extremely happy as I found my mei fun noodle I've been looking for. I used to (back on 2016) work near by this place and my coworkers had always ordered mei fun (thin rice noodle) from this place. As I moved job at 2018, I forgot where to get the same exact thing that I've tried from when I was working near by this chinese restaurant, I went to so many chinese restaurant around woodbridge/ edison to look for the exact thing but their mei fun noodle are so different compared to this (both the look and the taste). how I found this place again? I've never been here in person as in the past my coworkers ordered by phone and had them delivered to work. I tried to google chinese restaurant near carteret and found the singapore noodle pic on this website and give it a try to come try it in person. because from the look, it's just like what I want. the very very thin rice noodle (vermicelli). came to know that this place was the one where my friends ordered from! i'm so happy. will be back for my rice noodle again :))“

“We visited this establishment on an early Saturday afternoon. I was accompanied by a party of 6. Mambo Cuban is a beautifully decorated eatery with such a Havana vibe! We loved it. The food, the staff the music, the drinks... We enjoyed everything!“

“I ordered pork fried rice and chicken wings and BABYYYYYY I've never had chicken wings so good and crunchy from a Chinese restaurant. The rice was fresh. I really enjoyed. They also had great prices. I had and eight wing combo with the fried rice, and one order of eight wings which came up to 22 dollars! And they were big bulky pieces of chicken. Definitely worth the whole experience. Yes, I would order from here again“

“These soups are quite tasty! There's always a line outside, even when it's freezing outside in the thick of winter. Not just me, but I've noticed that people queue up for this soup nonstop, and they have a fantastic service system in place. A+“

“Mostly crunchy coating on the calamari- it's not flaky like most other places, instead it's crumb-y (see pic for reference). Good flavor in the crust, and the squid pieces were cut from an actual whole squid, so you get fun little pointy pieces too. The squid itself was on the softer side, not as chewy as squid usually is. The marinara sauce was very disappointing, tasted watery (and just sorta bad). The portion size was a bit smaller than I would have liked. Ordered on ubereats ahead of time, but I don't think they started making it until I showed them I was there to pick up my order. I would recommend just showing up and ordering at the counter, you save on extra processing fees and you don't lose much on time. Inside has a few tables and chairs in front of the counter, enough to seat a little more than 10 people max I'd estimate. The owners/employees seem nice and efficient.“

“Coming from a Polish guy l, it really is home-made Polish food. If you're in the mood for Polish food, this is the spot. I'm so glad I can get good food on my way to work on this side of the island. Now I just need them to deliver when I'm working nearby.“

“Was able to walk in and get a table for 9 people. It's a little pricy but all food was incredible, the duck was nice and chewy with a crispy skin. the rice noodles and vegetables in the soup were very fresh and well cooked. My Rangoon was very crispy and delicious. Everything is so fresh and well made I'd eat here all the time if I could. The staff are very kind and good at interacting with the customers. The place is well maintained and super clean, I randomly picked this place as somewhere to eat while in town and was incredibly surprised by this gem of a fantastic restaurant.Parking: Free curbside parking, we happened to come at a slower time so there was luckily plenty of space availableKid-friendliness: Plenty of space for families with kids and the waitress taking our orders was good with the kids we had, overall fantastic“

“The delicious black bean soup is loaded with flavorful veggies that have a delightful crunch to them, and just enough lime that you know it's in there. I turned mine from vegan to vegetarian with a little Cotija cheese. And that's lunch!“

“IM COMING BACK, the young lady at the counter was so sweet!! I got a chicken salad that I haven’t tried yet because I’m busy inhaling the crab corn soup, and a strawberry lemonade punch. Everything is VERY GOOD!!!!! I’m very critical of food because not everyone is clean and not every place can cook but this place has it all. The only thing I’d say is to add way more options for ingredients (pesto grilled chicken, kale, boiled eggs, etc)“

“It's hard to find new Thai places that'll blow your socks away, yet Siwa Thai did exactly that. We ordered the Siwa Fried Rice and a green curry - savored every single bite. Spice level 4 had us sweating but so worth it. The cold coffee was a tad too sweet and they were kind enough to get me a new one with less sugar. Super attentive staff, amazing food (fried rice) and a cozy interior at the heart of downtown Woodbridge.“

“My favorite Chinese restaurant in St. George. Nice food and friendly service. I believe they saved my life from starving death couple of times! :DIf you don't know what to order (and ready to trust me, and I'm just a random person from the internet), I would recommend orange beef and dumplings. “I’m only writing this review based on the excellent service I received at the bar during lunch hours from the best server there Mark. Mark took care of me from the moment I sat down at the bar and made sure everything was to perfection. Mark is an absolute asset to the Springfield location. The food was okay but the service is really what makes people come back. I rate his service a 10/10 because he really cares about the people having an excellent dine in experience. I would also like to mention the manager who worked alongside Mark was impeccable as well. The two of them is what made my experience very pleasant and I will come back again due to their service. Anytime you’re at the Springfield location, ask for Mark and you won’t be disappointed!“

“I absolutely love playa bowls. I just love fruit, so this is my go-to place. Regardless of whether you order a bowl, smoothie, or juice - it always is presented great and tastes amazing. The service is always friendly and welcoming. I give the atmosphere 3/5 stars only because they seem to have different staffing every time I’m there - and sometimes (depending on who’s working) they can be rowdy and obnoxiously loud - but recently it’s been a lot better. I know it’s just teenagers being teenagers, so as long as they’re doing their job properly (which they do) it’s not a deal breaker for me. The place is always clean and the fruit is always fresh, that’s all that matters to me.“
