“This was our 2nd time coming to Red's Leaf Cafe and each time has been outstanding! The food is great and the owner is super friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast the first time, vegan scramble and pancakes and today we went for the Tofu Panini and the Kuku sandwiches. We also had the homemade soup and crispy potatoes. Everything was fantastic and fresh! We will continue to return over and over. So glad we live close by!“

“A gem in the neighbourhood. A friend and I were visiting Jersey City from South Africa and NDP was just down the road from our B&B. We had the most wonderful dinner there, with James, the owner explaining how he and his wife started the little restaurant. The food was exceptional and we were able to order a bottle of wine from a winery close by, which was delivered in minutes. Absolutely worth a visit!“

“I've been looking for a local, full service coffee shop that roasts their own beans, sells coffee/espresso, as well as offers breakfast and lunch.**This IS that place**I couldn't tell from their website, but the posts I saw on insta showed that they serve food, and I'm happy to report that it tastes as good as it looks!Very friendly staff and accommodating. Although it's currently the middle of December, I wanted a macchiato over ice, which wasn't on their menu, but when I asked they happily said 'of course'.Seems like I'm going to have to sign up for their points system because I can tell I'm going to be back here a whole lot more.I'm particularly interested in sampling their beans, just wish i didn't have to buy an entire bag of beans. Why don't these local roasters sell sample packs, allowing you to still purchase a pound of beans, but separated into small batches with samples of each bean type? This would allow me to quickly figure out which bean I want to try without having to buy a single large bag and take a month to go through coffee I don't really like before trying the next type . . . “Very cute local Cafe with a personal touch. Service is great. Robin is very pleasant and makes you feel like you're seeing an old friend. And Murk cooks up delicious food where every dish is perfect. We ordered the Cezanne's Breakfast, Western Omelet & Italian Omelet. All were cooked with care. There were no burnt spots, the bread was fresh, and the bacon was crispy and soft. Had to get the Nutella Pancakes, which were so fluffy and did not disappoint. All went well with their freshly squeezed orange juice and Turkish coffee. Can't wait to go back.“

“Tasty food with lots of choices for the whole family. We did takeout for 5 items: --Wok Fried Noodles - bouncy and satisfying! --Bao Sampler Platter - Really good, especially with chili oil! This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)“

The boba was cooked and sweetened perfectly, and the tea and almond flavor were top notch So, when I dropped my bubble tea while getting out of my car after arriving home, I was devastated. It was a tragedy! I could feel the tea soaking into my shoes as I imagined sad violin music playing in the distance. The boba is freezing on my driveway as we speak. I drove back to the store because I don’t live too far away, and because my drink was THAT GOOD! The drink menu is creative with seasonal specials as well a milieu of regular caffeine requests. I opted for an iced vanilla cinnamon latte. Eventhough the weather is getting chilly, it's impossible for me to transition to hot coffee just yet so no judgement, thank you! Espresso was quality and the tres leches donut was a dream. To balance, I split a turkey and cheese croissant with my partner. It was brought warm, cheesy melted, was especially comforting. Service was stealth and kind. They took the order thoughtfully and my items were ready in less than 5 minutes. All came deliciously prepared. There was decent seating while people were studying and chatting, a great space to rest and relax with good seating for those who are disabled or in chronic pain too. My visit was practically perfect, but the prices are steep with $6+ for a small latte. If you need any coffee accountrements like filters, pour over materials, fredh espresso beans, this is also a great spot.“
