“A combination of my favorite two vocab: “Brunch”+ “Buffet”. And the food is good! The girls at the reception were so sweet and helpful. Gave us a very good first impression of this place.The service could be improved. The first 10 minutes we sat down, no one stopped by for water or introduction. The server was okay when he was presented in the area. However he would occasionally disappear for quite long time. We waited pretty long for our check and had to have someone else give us the check. After the long waiting, we saw a sprite we didn’t order appeared on the bill. He was able to take it off, but with the waiting we were a little bit out of patience.In summary, definitely will come back and recommend this place. It’s perfect for casual lunch when you don’t know what you want.“
“I love this place. The food is excellent. I’ve really enjoyed the three different meals I’ve had there. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the extensive draft list. The music is a nice touch. Records are selected by the bartenders and played on a turntable. Definitely my favorite spot for drinks and food when we’re in the neighborhood.“

“amazing irish dance i screamed and cried the whole time it was the best night of my life. “this place is kind of fire” -my roommate theodore gretz. i didn’t order the wings but my roommates did and i ate the celery with the sauce and it was really very yummy i also got a half guiness half cider which is very cool but i won’t be ordering again. the cocktail i wanted was $14 so. beggars can’t be choosers. feeling like i’m in it’s always sunny. i also really like the table plant. go here it’s great!“
“The most underrated spot! The staff is always so friendly, the food is always hot and delicious. Drinks are 10/10 AND reasonable priced!! Honestly, can’t recommend it enough.Parking: Street parking, always can find a spot within a block of two!“
“Perfect neighborhood gem. Gastropub food is just delicious. Wide variety of food options as well as a terrific beer selection. Through the pub and then a doorway into the "house" next door is a very cozy two floor (maybe three?)experience, a house turned into an eating area, also a surprise pinball machine corner and televisions on both floors. Very unique, very comfortable. You just want to hang there all night as if it were your own house. Love it“
“Came in to watch the game and was surprised by the food and service. Lo my bartender was very patient and courteous throughout. I had the dry rub ranch wings OMG! Crunchy and seasoned on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great dipping sauce as well which added to the layers of flavor. My burger was the Swiss with bacon and a variety of mouth watery inclusions. Smash burger seasoned just right. I tried the love hazy IPA and it paired wonderfully. I'd definitely recommend and will return and try other items. Thanks Lou!Oh get the fries for sure!“
“Parking: This is located in Chinatown, so mainly street parking. Be prepared to drive around and look for a spot. There are parking garage around the block because Bar-Ly is located right across from the convention center and diagonal from Reading terminal.This is definitely a to-go place if you and your group would like to find a place to chill or gather to watch a sport game. Not only do they have their own bar, but also have a wide variety of food on their menu! Running from Viet cuisine to sushi to pizza and wings! The vibe is just energetic once you step your foot in, especially during a sport game like the Superbowl! But I would suggest make early reservations during those big game nights. There is also a party room available for guests to book for a party.Food & Drinks: I tried their wings with mango habanero sauce, salmon pizza, and one of their drink with lychee and ginger beer that I can’t recall right off my head. The drink was pretty good. Salmon pizza was wonderful. The wings, on the other hand, I feel are a bit too dry and not enough sauce. Everything else was definitely not bad at all.“

“Nothing can go wrong woth the seitan wings at 9pm after a movie at the PFS bourse. The place is always comfy thanks to its decor, has a great selection of beers ans their food never disappoints. The music can be loud sometimes but not to the point of making me go away.“
“Came here two nights in a row on a business trip at the beginning of December. We had 8 people in our party and the staff did a wonderful job taking care of us swiftly and without error during the busy weekend service. Drinks, apps, entrees were all fantastic, and the wings were some of the best I’ve had. Atmosphere was great, and seeing as I’m still an emo kid at heart I was a big fan of the music selections the nights that we were there. We all left extremely satisfied and I know that I will definitely return when we are in town again.Shout out to the manager, you were awesome too!“
“The food was reasonably priced and very good. The drinks are pretty solid and also very reasonably priced. Server was very nice and willing to ask the kitchen about a friend’s gluten intolerance. Tip: you’ll either need need cash or or Venmo.“
“If you're looking for a great corner bar with awesome bartenders this is your spot. They know beer and have the best circulating on tap. They have tvs for the sports games and a pool table, and if you bring your own darts, you can play darts.“
“Met up with a friend for dinner and really like the ambiance of this place. Gives a really chill, laid-back vibe and they have some great food and drink choices with friendly staff. I ordered the Grilled Hangar Steak which came with chimichurri and green beans and it was the right amount of food. I feel like all the beers from local breweries are refreshing, but if you’re in the mood for a cocktail definitely try the Penicillin. Look forward to my next visit.“
“Stopped in for a few drinks during Happy Hour and I only wish we would have stayed. We walked in and were instantly greeted by both bartenders. Both were nice and attended to us well. Had a few beers and had to rush out due to a change of plans. Looking forward to coming back to get the full experience.“

“Been going here for about two years. Delightful neighborhood bar with great prices, friendly staff, good food with a rotating menu (always try the grilled cheese special), and a great tavern vibe. Pool upstairs (if you’re lucky enough to get there first). I’ve since moved out of the neighborhood to Point Breeze, but my friends and I still make the hike over to Watkins at least once a week because that’s how much we love this place. This is the stuff!“

“Been here twice on a Friday night and food has always been fantastic. Only complaint is that they sat us in the non-dining room area side where a live band was playing. Very loud to the point it's hard to communicate at your table. We also had a child with us. I noticed there were more children on this side, so not sure why they decided to seat parties with kids on this side with the live band. My wife and daughter were also cold since it's more of an enclosed outdoor dining area with ceiling fans running in January and February. Will continue to come here, but next time I'll request the main dining room.Parking: Two parking areas. The smaller one closest to NJ-38 is a one way.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available with Crayons.“

“Came here to support my son who was doing a hard core metal event in the back where all the proceeds were being donated to a local harm reduction community resource. I had some of my son's Buffalo wings which I felt needed to be a little more crispy but overall good. It's a nice atmosphere and the service was good.“

“Cap'N Cats was a Favorite of our family, especially my Dad and mines, when I was a kid in the 70s. I hadn't been there in years. So, on My Dad's birthday I brought my Mom there for Clams on the Half shell, and a Fried Oyster platter. The platters were large in portion. So much so, we had platters for the next day. }“

“Spectacular service. Our server went over the menu and drinks given it was the first time, and we brought friends from out of town. He was wonderful. Food was excellent. Grilled octopus was a little over done but otherwise the burgers, chicken pie, fries and scallops were so good. Great beer selection. Highly recommend for a taste of Philly!“
“Wonderful dinner in a relaxed beautiful dining room with excellent service. Wild mushroom bisque & Filet mignon with fingerling potatoes was spectacular. The garnish was exactly the same so lack of creativity there, it was very nice but the same on soup as filet is not the norm.“
