“We love Mexican food and this is one of the best spots in the Somerset County area. It's a small, unassuming place, the service was a bit slow, but the food was worth it. The food is relatively authentic, served with careful presentation. There are a few tables outside too when the weather permits, and a small parking lot in the back. We've already been here a couple of times and we'll be back.“
“I really enjoy the food and service here. The tacos (at least the styles I have ordered) rely on fresh and tasty ingredients and salsa rather than heavy cheese and sour cream. I take my small daughter and wife there and we have a nice time. The guac is great paired with a Tamarind Jaritos.“
“I was honestly a little nervous based on the reviews, but I know when it comes to Jersey, a restaurant can end up with a one star rating because it was raining in the parking lot. It was a great experience! Me and my boyfriend came in for our booritos, the chipotle app was unfortunately down but the sweet cashier was more than willing to honor it for us. As far as cleanliness goes, a fast food place packed with teenagers is bound to stir up some mess, but the staff were quick to clean up behind themselves and customers. Honestly a 10/10 experience, thank you to the spidermans who made our food and Girl who got us checked out :).“
“My favorite place around! Would eat here every day if I could. Kris uses the highest quality organic ingredients. All of their specials are always amazing, as is their regular menu, and they have the best baked goods I’ve ever had. They also do made to order cakes for special occasions, would highly recommend!“
“Blown away by the delicious food I purchased! Everything was fresh and homemade/authentic. The nachos never got soggy, stayed crispy and fresh for hours after. The taco plates we purchased were flavorful and top quality. I will definitely be back! Yum!“
“March 2024. We've been coming here for years. Really enjoy the authentic tacos. The fixings bar to add sauce, cilantro, onions, cactus, and so much more, allows you to customize the tacos to your taste. Personally I love Al Pastor and Placeros tacos. Service is friendly. They have staff that speak English, which helps us who speak little Spanish. But either way, their menu is written in English and Spanish.Parking is the only hardship. Have to drive around and find a spot.Parking: Drive around until you find parking, esp. on weekends.“
“I was super impressed by the steak fajitas. The steak that was prepared was excellent quality, cooked perfectly medium-rare as requested. I feel like usually lower-quality steak is used for fajitas at your typical LatAm restaurant, so I was pleasantly surprised when I received a high-quality steak that could’ve been it’s own entree as the meat for my fajita. The cocktails were also fantastic! We had a paloma, a batanga, and a mojito. And the service was perfect as well.“
“This place has charm and the very welcoming lady and gentleman that might be the owners made it even better. The food was tasty and the prices were fair for the amount of food you get. Would totally come back. And their ají de árbol is delicious. Always a joy to try and support the local restaurants. Totally recommend.“
“Best Authentic Honduran mostly and Mexican food around the area, the baleadas and pollos con tajadas ufff another level of greatness, the staff super friendly and the price is super affordable for being a foreign food type of restaurant… price ranges in between $10-$20 a plate max. Well recommended ??“
“Having traveled in Mexico, I can attest that the food is not only delicious but also so authentic, with some creative spins on traditional dishes. This is the second time I've come here for lunch, and I am writing this review as I sit here because I am so glad that I walked in last week. Carlos and the staff are so friendly and gracious and take the time to discuss culture and cuisine. I will be a regular at Fresco.“
