Normally I don't get dinner at 5 but I did. This place has a very large older crowd.Besides that the service was great and the place handled the traffic very well. “Best sushi around jersey not gonna lie. They are so nice and always inviting! Their food tastes so fresh and I’m always impressed, they never forget things and are EXTREMELY FAST with their orders. I even order custom rolls from them which in itself is incredible because I’m terrified of ordering things from most places like that. My favorite item is the shrimp tempura roll but I put cream cheese on it too. Also they never under sauce!!!“

“It was our first time there. The server was friendly and came frequently to check up on us, even though he was tied up to another bigger group who had a birthday celebration. Paying was smooth, because everything was in a handheld device. The food portions were huge. I ended up taking my half of the meal home. It was delicious! The food was good, served quickly. The shredded potatoes with crunchy edges were a surprise. The diner is accessible, with wide isles, plenty of open tables and roomy booths. The staff sang happy birthday to a 5 year old behind us. Very sweet. Lots of families. The spaces in the parking lot are on the small side, so cars are very close to each other, making it difficult to get in/out of the car doors. There is also street parking right in front of the diner.“

“Food was very very good. I was surprised thinking it will be lack luster diner food. Wich is fine cause I like the old diner crap food once in a while for nostalgic reasons mostly I guess. Anyway the Sunrise Diner was great I had a simple 3 egg breakfast with home fries and sausage and bacon. My wife had chicken pot pie it looked great golden brown flaky and filled with lots of chicken and veggies and gravy. Came out quick hot and cooked perfectly the service was excellent couldn't ask for better. Oh very good coffee. I highly recommend the Sunrise Diner for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The place is small and definitely has a neighborhood diner feel, but they make everyone feel welcomed. This last visit I had the cheesesteak omelette on a roll with onion rings.
