“I’ve never left a review for a restaurant but the kindness of the bearded man who sits at the register was extremely heartwarming. He could tell it was my first time there and he gave me a Lebanese dessert on the house as a way to welcome me to this restaurant. The food is well seasoned and the dessert was delicious. If I lived in New York, they’d have a loyal customer.“

“It has the Lebanese and middle Eastern taste as it could've been at the restaurant. Place has been serving as traditional as possible last few decades in Sunnyside. Keeping it simple and good value bring foodies back to back . I always find myself over and over preferred vs other new tastesVegetarian options: Falafel“

“Au Za’atar nails Lebanese cuisine, making me feel like I'm back home with every bite. I knew they were the real deal after taking one bite of their zaatar mana’eesh. They've got a fantastic array of condiments too, each adding a genuine touch to every dish. I also appreciate our waiter, Gio, who was very enthusiastic. We visited during lunch at noon, where they weren’t ready yet to serve their famous shawarma. I’ll be back at dinner hours to try it“

“The food and the service here was incredible. We came during prime time brunch hours on a Sunday afternoon, the wait was reasonable and absolutely worth it. If you're looking to splurge, you must try the banana bread pudding, it was out of this world! Freddy was our server and he was attentive, kind, and personable from the start! He recommended their Lebanese coffee which is stronger than espresso and it was so good! They even served it on a silver platter! This little cafe is wonderful and anyone who comes here won't be disappointed.“

“This place is a small cozy restaurant that serves up great Mediterranean food. The food was great and I enjoyed the variety in the El Toum appetizer. The hummus bi lahmet was something I’ve never seen or had before and I thought it was seasoned great and fulfilled my crave for hummus. The kofta wrap was great as well, it wasn’t dry and the kofta was seasoned well, it was a bit smaller than I expected. The environment was great and the host was very inviting and nice, we really felt welcomed and enjoyed the visit here. I’ll have to get the mix platter next time I come, it looks and sounds really good!“

“Izzy was my waiter and host- very welcoming, helpful, and professional. As great and fresh as the food was, Izzy definitely went above and beyond to make a great experience even better. The food was authentic, freshly prepared but came out in a timely fashion. Baklava was light and flaky- the vanilla ice cream accompanying it had crushed pistachios on top- really went above and beyond for the little touches that might get overlooked by some clients. Shows a real pride in their food and service.Decor was of a bistro and had ample space. I did not feel crowded by other tables or patrons.Glad I happened on this restaurant. I will definitely be back again soon.Parking: 100+Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor access directl from parking lot which had well over 100 spaces shared between the strip mall.“

“It's a pretty good restaurant to have food in. I tried the Veggie Pitza, yes 'Pitza', the base is similar to the pita bread, not the usual pizza dough, but it tastes great. They have a few different varieties of pitzas. The sauce they provided on the side, when asked. Now those made it way better than I expected. Just because of that chilli sauce I would love to go there again. So definitely go try out there sometime.“

“As a Lebanese American, I was very surprised to see such authentic items on the menu. I started with the Kibbeh and it took me back home! The entire experience was amazing, and our server (Zorby) was knowledgeable and passionate about the menu. Hands down the best Lebanese restaurant in the city so far!“

“What a surprising find and are we happy! Such interesting unique (to me) options and plenty of vegetarian food, creative! The cauliflower pita was cinnamony & good especially with some added dips. The tuna was quite good, even my 11y liked. 13y liked the sausage sandwich. Had to fend off family from the dips and soft seasoned pita ;) Will definitely be ordering here again!“

“I went to Nala to try out the Middle Eastern Counter and Grill. I wanted to try out a Naya bowl. The cashier notified me that I can customize my bowl with meats and veggie toppings. I chose beef shawarma as the meat of choice and went creative for my Nala Bowl. For middle eastern dishes, never leave out the hummus. In addition to the hummus, I also added onions, lettuce, cabbage, mixed greens, and a feta cheese. I loved the taste and texture of the Nala Bowl the associate helped prepare for me. The meat was especially well-seasoned and the sauce added the perfect spice for the meal. The customer service was excellent, the place was comfortable and organized, and my order was processed smoothly in the quiet evening. Thank you Nala!Vegetarian options: Vegetarians have full control over what can be put in a Nala Bowl, for example. Simply refrain from selecting a meat topping as a choice and proceed to select vegetarian options for your veggie bowl.“

“Delicious, authentic Lebanese food — feels like you’re in Beirut. I’m Lebanese and it’s my favorite spot in NYC for Lebanese food. Highly recommend the zaatar, jibneh (cheese), kafta, or lahm aajeen. It’s all delish. Staff is super friendly too!“

“Delicious food & service. There are two restaurants I would recommend for Lebanese food in NY - Nabila's is one of them. The menu is quite minimal but captures the high notes of Lebanese cooking. I wish I could say it's cheap but this is not a kebab shop! the quality of ingredients and attention to flavour is most like what you find in Lebanon (also the good design - not many people know that Beirut is a design capital with some seriously stylish restaurants).“

“NAYA is my all-time favorite fast-casual place in NYC! They had the most delicious bowls - I usually get half greens and half brown rice, with chicken shawarma and a bunch of their yummy veggie and hummus toppings. This location is conveniently in Moynihan Train station and I often will pick up a bowl to eat on a long train ride. The portions are huge and very satisfying. Feels healthy but flavorful at the same time. Also their Za'atar pita chips are bomb as a snack, highly recommend!“

“This place is seriously delicious! Ordered for delivery and everything was packed nicely and everything was there! Got the bowl with vermicelli rice, chicken shish taouk, garlic whip, baba ghannouj, onion-parsley sumac , cucumber and mild red sauce. Every dish comes with pita which is absolutely delicious! The serving size is pretty decent, I wish that the sides were cut a little smaller and they have more of it, rather than a few little pieces. The rice is always good and flavorful, the chicken shish is okay, I prefer the chicken shawarma. The garlic whip is tasty, I wish there was more of it! The baba ghannouj is so good I always get a side of it! It comes with one pita, but you really need to buy extra pita for it! So good! Def would be coming back again!“

“Ordered on their website for pick up - super convenient! There was someone at the pick up register to help me expedite the order. Clean space, decent amount of seating, but low side tables (along wall) so not as ergonomic. Will def be back! Great pita! Got the beef sharwna, baba goulash, veggie toppings, and feta“

“It’s a factory line setup, if you are new and trying out then the line behind you pushes to make quick decision on what to eat which does not help. It’s super popular during lunch, so think decide and then go on line. The food is good and they make everything “

“Best dinning experience in NYC. Hats off to their team here for real.. The vibes, food and crew are all off the charts..Alex is mixing up fire drinks, Dre is crushing the DJ set, Richie is making sure everyone is having a dope time... and Ms. Alex D, for ensuring everyone feels like the most import guest in the building! The food (most importantly the lamb chops and Banzino) is also crazy! Thanks for providing a great time, all the time!“

“My wife and I met another couple for dinner last night at roses. I was searching for a restaurant on yelp in the Englewood area as it was halfway between our friends and I. Made a reservation for 530 and when we showed up we were the only customers in the restaurant. not a lot of atmosphere, but clean. The menu looked interesting. We ordered hummus & Babaganoush To share, I had the mixed grill, my friend had the Rosies mixed grill. My wife had the Shawarma and her other friend had the chicken kebab. Everything was fresh, moist, and excellent, particularly the Shawarma. One other family of three came in while we're eating, but otherwise, the restaurant was empty. Our server was attentive and respectful, and took good care of us. He told us that they are usually very crowded on the weekends - understandable since it was Monday of a holiday weekend. We will definitely be back again !“

The rest of the bowl can be fully customized and you can take as many or as little toppings as wanted.Highly recommend this as a lunch place!“

“Very cute place with fresh food. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. I have celiacs and they put the pita separately for my sister so she could still enjoy. We shared fattouch salad croutons on the side and added chicken, it was excellent. Red pepper dip was our favorite. Hummus was so so. Quick and friendly service.“

“My wife and I recently enjoyed a delightful date night at Ilili. Our server was incredibly attentive and offered helpful guidance through the menu. She even suggested an off-menu item that turned out to be wonderful. If you're considering dining here, I would recommend going with a group. The experience is best enjoyed with multiple diners because there are so many tempting small plates to try. The pita bread, served warm, was like little pillows and added to our enjoyment of the meal.“

“Loved the food and there were many vegetarian and vegan options, even entrees. Many of the entree options were pretty unique so definitely looking forward to coming back. The fava bran appetizer was unique as well served warm nicely flavored with garlic. Prices were also very affordable compared to most Mediterranean restaurants. The restaurant is located in the basement and had a nice setting making us feel like we were in Lebanon!“

“My favorite chain for a quick, healthy and satisfying meal. I love falafel, it's one of my top comfort food, so any place that offers nice falafels gets thumbs up from me. For less than $12, you get 5~6 large falafels, one choice of hummus (I picked mushroom hummus this time) plus two substantial sides (beat-root salad and babaganoush this round), and your choice of toppings and sauce. Oh and a warm pita bread too. I could barely finish everything. The place is clean and orderly, the waiting staff friendly and efficient - they have to be, coz there was a long line of lunch rush customers.“
