Ordered french fries, onion rings, and small orders of sweet and spicy wings (10), crispy chicken drumsticks (5) and hot and spicy boneless chicken (about 12 pieces or so). “I love coming to Wasai Bistro whenever I’m visiting the east coast. I’ve followed Chef Nelson since his days at Aozora and Wabi Sabi. His food quality, menu options, and value are unmatched in the area. Once you try his food you will understand why he has so many repeat diners. I highly recommend the Mes Reves Roll, Uni and bone marrow ramen, Miso glazed sea bass entree and salmon lover entree but it’s very hard to go wrong with anything Chef Nelson serves. Parking is street parking only but honestly I’ve always had a very easy time finding a spot. BYOB so you can drink what you love.”

“Always delicious, always delectable! Every dish I've ever had, which is most of the dinner selections & many for lunch, is absolutely mouth watering. Generous portions of great food for a very reasonable price- what more can you ask for? You can get take out or stay in, where the music always sets the mood for Tex-Mex food. The owner is head chef & really knows how to whip up a satisfying & filling meal. I'm so fortunate this wonderful restaurant is close enough to be a regular!”

“best restaurant in cranford! ive been coming here as a regular for about over a year and i couldnt recommend poke house enough. their homemade food is amazing, very tasty, perfect portion sizes, and good prices. not to mention the bowls and ramen are customizable! even if ive already eaten sometimes i stop by just for the bubble tea, which is just as good as the food and has a solid selection size. the staff is always super friendly and accomadating to us, part of the reason we always come back. my personal favorite orders are the tonkatsu broth ramen, passionfruit tea with lychee boba, and sesame balls”

They allowed me to go in the morning and decorate, they help me to do in fact, the food was delicious as always and the service was perfect , we even had live music as a surprise as well and my son and guest where all happy ! “Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. The presentation of the sushi is perfect. I miss hanging with Mr. Bin at the restaurant and looking forward that once again. Especially his "special" selections that he surprises me with.”

“This is the first 5 Star restaurant we have found in NJ since moving in 1991 from Manhatten. Four of us went this past sunday evening. Everything was 5 star,including food; Niavh's (Irish name pronounced as Nieve) service; and the personable manager, Dave. Gorgeous wood and glass. Great Ambience. Easy to park. “I really love this coffee shop for its amazing vibe and consistently delicious, well-made coffee! ☕✨ The staff is always friendly, and the service is great.
The only thing I would say is that the quality of the pastries seems to have gone downhill a little. I can’t speak for everything, but I can share my experience with the pastries I’ve tried.
When the coffee shop first opened, they had these amazing pistachio croissants that I absolutely loved. At some point, they seemed to change their baker, and unfortunately, the new ones were not nearly as good.
I also used to love getting the guava empanada here, but the last time I tried one, it didn’t taste fresh and was quite hard, almost as if it had been sitting in the display case for a couple of days.
That said, I still really enjoy this coffee shop overall and will definitely keep coming back for the coffee and the atmosphere! ❤☕”

By well-made I mean you're NOT going to receive food that's drowned in grease, or all mushy like it's been sitting in a steam table for hours.They have a great selection of different styles. All the standard stuff, plus Szechuan and Cantonese specialties. The prices are reasonable. Staff is very nice. I love that when I order delivery, the driver is from the restaurant, not some internet service.I used to think I'd never find good Chinese food in this area, until I tried Hop Hing. “I stopped by Riverside Inn Bar one evening around 7:30 PM to meet a few friends after work. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with plenty of seating and a nice mix of locals enjoying the evening. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and an ice-cold soft drink, and everything came out hot and fresh in about 15 minutes. The burger was juicy, the fries were crispy, and the portions were generous. Our server was friendly, checked on us throughout the meal, and made sure we always had what we needed. We stayed for a couple of hours talking and watching the game, and the overall experience was enjoyable from start to finish. It's a great neighborhood spot to unwind, grab a good meal, and spend time with friends.”

“1 Walnut is a (not so hidden) gem in Cranford! Located right next to the train station. Family run business that offers great, fresh food, and great prices! Some of our favorites are the chicken and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken with black bean sauce, fried rice, and egg rolls, although everything we have tried there has been amazing, and fresh.

This is also my (teenage) son and his friends favorite place to hang out and eat great food on a Friday night! They have puzzles, Lego sets and games on the tables. They even have chicken wings and fries!!

You can’t go wrong with anything you order here, and you will enjoy chatting with the family who owns it, they’re great people!!
