No frat boys, but plenty of Guinness, excellent food, friendly staff, and the likelihood of running into someone you know and having a few laughs. Five stars is too few to rate the quality experience. Order a pint, order a burger your way with fries, and get your weekend started right.Parking: Park at the train station on South Ave and walk over. Street and lot parking is free after 6 pm.“

“I have to say I really enjoy The Thirsty Turtle. Although it's a sports bar and you think it might just be cool to watch a game, the food and staff are excellent and professional. We went the other night and met friends for dinner and it was a fantastic experience! The waiter, (I don't remember his name), but he memorized our order and everything came out perfect! We had appetizers, burgers, beer & drinks, and enjoyed everything we ate and drank. I also have to call out Manny who went above and beyond in helping me. He is smart and knows how to treat customers. Any establishment should be lucky to have him!“

“Always love the food here, classic bar food along with some Irish specials and creative fusion dishes. I've never had anything bad from them. Service is always pretty good never had a bad experience. Love coming here with my family for special occasions but the bar scene is pretty popular too if that's more your speed. Highly reccomend!“
“This was on my list to visit and I was able to do so today. I had dinner there and the steak was good but wish it came out warmer... I think it was waiting for my friend's salmon to be cooked as her food was hotter. The mash potatoes was hot though. The espresso martini was good definitely deserves a return. Service was absolutely excellent. Mauricio was pleasant, personable, and charming also funny.Overall lovely place I would return to, for sure..maybe they have brunch I'll need to check but then again maybe not as it opens at 4 pm.Parking: There is a parking lot but it doesn't look huge and it's across the street from the establishment.. You can do street parking I don't believe I saw any meters.“

As people were greeting and gathering and getting situated, it was clear, staff was attentive and present.As discussed having the buffet style, everything was set and organized.People raved about the Garden Salad; The hot food entrees were phenomenal and plentiful; our guests felt comfortable heading up to get another plate. “We met our friends here on a Friday night. Nice Irish pub. Not very busy at all for a Friday night, no problem getting a table. Our friends had eaten already so they just had drinks. My husband & I had cheesesteak & French dip sandwich, both were really delicious. Our server was very nice,friendly, food came out very quick. I normally hesitate to order roast beef sandwiches because sometimes, its really stringy, this meat was delicious & piled high. I opted for mashed potatoes instead of fries, so good“
“There were a couple of parties going on, with children who were loud. The restaurant is loud! But the food was excellent. We were celebrating a birthday, but besides wishing her a happy birthday as we signed in, nothing "special" was done. They did not have the ribs that were on the menu, and that was a bit of a disappointment.“

The Italian food was so great, the staff was exceptional and very understanding due to (some of our family coming in late to the restaurant). “The other day I got, La Galera Centro Americana Restaurant, for lunch. I ordered their Meatballs w/ Black Rice & Red Beans. It was absolutely delicious! I asked the lady for more veggies than rice, and she happily obliged. I really loved their Meatballs, and also the Red Beans. Excellent flavors to combine. The ladies at the front desk were really nice and attentive. It seems like a nice, quaint, family type of place to eat. And for just a little over $10 was a complete steal. I’d def try this place again, their other menu items looked phenomenal. I’d also recommend to anyone in the, City of Orange, area looking for some decent Spanish food.“
“It was worth the wait. It is such a fun atmosphere. There is décor/memorabilia all over the restaurant. The servers are in fun outfits, too. There is never a dull moment between that and the live music. The menus are news papers and I got a real kick out of the whole vibe. The food was amazing, too! We got a prickly pear margarita that was to die for. We enjoyed out lunch and would recommend!“

“I was there for a wedding and the location was lovely and the food was surprisingly good. They had several stations during cocktail hour and the Latin and Chinese ones were better than what you'll get at most take out places. The rest of the food was good, but these were the standouts.“
