“WoW! A dive bar by the Prudential Center with awesome buffalo wings and fries... how can you go wrong. The bar area is decent sized and the back room can hold more of a dining option. The bartender was cool and great to talk to. FYI: Parking is a bit tricky in this area, but if you come at the right time you may be able to park on the street.“
“Was looking for a spot near the Prudential Center to accommodate a group of 9 - on a Saturday afternoon after a Devils game and before a Seton Hall game. After striking out at a few nearby places, I was so lucky to walk into Mad for Chicken and see a large table near the door. The staff was top notch and so accommodating as the rest of the group trickled in. We never waited long for fresh drinks and our food order came out hot and quickly. The rest of the bar was pretty busy, and we never felt like a burden or rushed. It worked out perfectly, and I will choose Mad for Chicken for future trips to Newark.“
“Food was excellent and the service was even better. Thank you to the team for providing a relaxed place to hang out before departing on my flight. Special thanks to Maria, the bartender, who is clearly on top of her game when things get busy, provides excellent customer service, and is a pleasure to be around.“
“Was having a really off day, missed my flight, mixed feelings with first time meeting my dad, decided to stop by coincidentally right in front of my gate. Great beer selection, didn't expect anything. I gotta say tho, Kendra gave some great customer service. I know it may not mean much to her, but she really flipped around my day, and turned everything around. Thanks for your service Kendra, and keep being you. You never know what you or your energy may do for someone. Coming from someone whose whole purpose is to be of service. ? *music was A+ as well, new genre I like*“
“For airport food at Newark it’s probably 4 star because the more isn’t any other warm food options.Food: Roast beef dip was really hot which I really liked! It came with chips and wasn’t crazy salty.Server: kind and pretty prompt. Didn’t catch his name but he was great!Atmosphere: Well I suspect this is why Newark has low costs but feels like an unused air terminal in the Midwest.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a bit tighter but easy to roll through if needed“
“Didn't eat. Killed two hours here rather easily. Immediately had two open spots at the bar but we were lucky in our timing, this place can get full fast. Never had to wait for a new drink, bartenders were on top of everything. It's a local stop in Jersey City, though, so be prepared for the accent and the attitude. If you're not from Hudson County, it might seem a little rough, but this is a great spot. Lean into it.Parking: If you don't parallel park then go to a mall, you don't belong here.“
“The best turkey burgers I've ever had. The waffle fries are amazing! Such a fun place to grab a bite! The staff and service is amazing. Super kind and friendly. The overall vibe and ambiance is so cool and fun. A great place to grab a bite and drink with friends or go out to dinner with the family.“
“Been going to Shannon Rose for years...dinner with friends, teacher appreciation etc. I love their food especially their nachos and burgers and I loooove the sangria. We love Ashley she's a great worker, pleasant and always willing to accommodate us. Def a 5 start visit when Ashley's working!!“
“If you want old school Italian, this is the place for you. My family heard about the Belmont Tavern and decided to drive 40 minutes to check this place out. We arrived early on a Friday night, around 5:45PM. It is in a little bit of a rough area and finding parking on the street can be a challenge. The interior does not look like it's changed since it opened. Red and white checkered table cloths, wood paneled walls, and even a phone booth that lights up when you shut the door! All of the customers are all locals. The Tavern is known for their Shrimp Beeps and Chicken Savoy. My recommendation is the Shrimp Beeps over spaghetti. If you order more than one serving, it is served family style. Some of my family members ordered the Chicken Murphy and Chicken Savoy which are more like chicken parts rather than chicken breast. They both thought it was on the dry side. The service is good although we did feel a bit rushed since it was getting busy.“
