“We really enjoyed our food and everything was fresh, clean and tasty. The Waiter, Freddy, was very attentive and quick. He gave us excellent suggestions and he made a very delicious Chai latte both hot ? and iced. The atmosphere is clean and beautiful and peaceful. We'll be back!“
“Underrated GEM! How lucky am I to have found this place? Mediterranean food is growing on me and I crave it so often now. Finding this place is a game changer! While I wasn't expecting a place like this to have $25 menu items, it's totally worth it! We got the grilled lamb chops for $25 which is a bit pricey but believe me when I tell you it's worth it! While waiting for our takeout, we chatted up the nice lad at the counter who was kind enough to tell us more about the neighborhood and what there is to do out here. Place is small and basic, i would likely order for takeout than dine in.“
“My wife and I met another couple for dinner last night at roses. I was searching for a restaurant on yelp in the Englewood area as it was halfway between our friends and I. Made a reservation for 530 and when we showed up we were the only customers in the restaurant. not a lot of atmosphere, but clean. The menu looked interesting. We ordered hummus & Babaganoush To share, I had the mixed grill, my friend had the Rosies mixed grill. My wife had the Shawarma and her other friend had the chicken kebab. Everything was fresh, moist, and excellent, particularly the Shawarma. One other family of three came in while we're eating, but otherwise, the restaurant was empty. Our server was attentive and respectful, and took good care of us. He told us that they are usually very crowded on the weekends - understandable since it was Monday of a holiday weekend. We will definitely be back again !“
“I drive almost half an hour to come to this location. The staff are lovely, the store itself is gorgeous, and the food is just HEAVEN. I got fresh made taboulleh and it was PERFECT. As good as home recipes! and their shawarma bowls are always to die for! I can't stop coming here, truly a wonderful place!“

As great and fresh as the food was, Izzy definitely went above and beyond to make a great experience even better.The food was authentic, freshly prepared but came out in a timely fashion. Baklava was light and flaky- the vanilla ice cream accompanying it had crushed pistachios on top- really went above and beyond for the little touches that might get overlooked by some clients. Shows a real pride in their food and service.Decor was of a bistro and had ample space. I did not feel crowded by other tables or patrons.Glad I happened on this restaurant.
