Both are great, but obviously this isn't about being fancy.I expect diner food to be somewhere between passable and good; putting it was really good and there was plenty to eat. I hate till I was stuffed and my friend took food home.I'm vegetarian/vegan , so I had the tofu scramble. This was definitely solid. There was lots of tofu so I got my protein for the morning and a good variety of vegetables; I appreciate it tofu scramble that has some greens in it like spinach. I had Fried potatoes so that I would be able to try the house-made ketchup and it was excellent. I wish more restaurants would do this. It makes eating at different places so much more interesting.If you're down for diner eating, this is definitely one of the best if not the best place to go in Philly.Vegetarian options: Sure, it's a diner. If you want eggs or tofu, you're in luck. If your vegan, it's much more restricted.“
“Traveling thru and stopped for breakfast based on other positive Google Reviews. Food was fantastic, Service was amazing and welcoming, and the other patrons made us feel like old friends. Jackie was outstanding in making sure we were happy and had everything we needed from start to finish. I had the French Toast and my wife had a Roast Beef Sandwich on a super fresh roll. “Best sushi around jersey not gonna lie. They are so nice and always inviting! Their food tastes so fresh and I’m always impressed, they never forget things and are EXTREMELY FAST with their orders. I even order custom rolls from them which in itself is incredible because I’m terrified of ordering things from most places like that. My favorite item is the shrimp tempura roll but I put cream cheese on it too. Also they never under sauce!!!“

We love the garden and regardless of when you come summer or winter, the vibes are immaculate, servers are fun and food is delicious. “Old school diner in the best sense of the word. The food is inexpensive and hearty. The coffee is hot and abundant. The waitresses call you "hun" and seem like they've been there forever. The decore is classic diner. Loved this place in college for a good omlette after a night of drinking. And, after my recent visit, I am overjoyed to see it hasn't changed much in those 30 years.“

“This was our first time here, my sister and I choose to sit on the bar side. When we arrived it was apparently shift change, there was no hostess so we sat ourselves. After waiting for about 10 minutes my sister went up to the bar to get us drinks. The one person a petite dark haired lady was quite rude telling my sister it was shift change. We are okay with that we just wanted to get drinks after all we are in a bar. The other bar tender again I don't know her name, she had long wavy hair. She was very nice got us our drinks and a menu. Paul ended up taking care of us. He was very attentive and the rest of our experience was very good. I had the beef gyro it was very good, my sister had the patty melt it was good, but the burger did not fit the bread well. It was a big burger my suggestion would be just to smash the burger out so it fits the bread better. Overall the food and service was good and we will come back and try again.“
“Had not been here in many years since Nikki use to be our waitress and her mother was hostess manager who always made strawberry milkshake for my daughter.....fast forward we came in were promptly seated in back room which I was happy about less crowded, older lady seating us asked what we wanted to drink and said our server Jacob would be over in a minute. She brought our drinks and he promptly arrived, greeted us and answered our questions and took our order. Soup was hot and delicious and the bread was fresh and butter not melted and refrozen like many places recycle customers bread and butter. Food arrived hot, juicy, nice size portions reasonable prices. Jacob kept checking back on us, he was prompt to get refills and ask if we needed anything When came time for deserts our first two choices he came back and said manager said they were old and would not serve, A+ for honesty. Only problem was older man on register seemed to be unsure having problem with credit card... Everything was so good.We came back again asked for Jacob but this time we were sat out front. Right from get go it seemed different, the older guy that had problem with credit card seemed to be a bother seating us, seemed unsure who was working what tables.Jacob was prompt and friendly and food and service were great in fact my meal was filling which for me is a rarity. I did force myself to get desert because they looked so good and it was to die for and worth the price.My complaints for second visit All stem from the other staff: first there were three Hispanic employees 2 females wearing masks under their chins (which makes you look like idiots) who seemed sick yet were not wearing masks properly and were wrapping the silverware and Spanish guy with mop all hanging out front jabbering in Spanish the whole time (this is very disrespectful in my opinion), and the other problem is the waitress who was constantly bitching and complaining about the time and 1 hr left and customers coming in before closing and about other employees that did something she didn't like.....I don't want to hear staff drama, see goofing off and I don't want to hear all this foreign jabbering this is America speak English!! When you do that you give the appearance that you are talking about people and or don't want them to know what you are saying. It's very shady and sneaky and good way to loose customers. Keep that nonsense in the back of the house!“

“Thank you to the chef who actually served real "Fried onions" on my husband's fried potatoes. These were nice brown fried onions not white/tan sauté onions. We've been getting fancier entrees lately, some pasta, the specials... Whatever we get it's good. “It was our first time there. The server was friendly and came frequently to check up on us, even though he was tied up to another bigger group who had a birthday celebration. Paying was smooth, because everything was in a handheld device. The food portions were huge. I ended up taking my half of the meal home. It was delicious! “Ended up walking here from Wells Fargo Center during Wrestlemania 40 weekend before Night One of Wrestlemania. They put some Wrestlemania/WWE decorations up and most of the staff/waitresses were wearing WWE shirts/WWE Superstar shirts.Excellent service! I ended getting the fried flounder which was two HUGE pieces! I'm sure their portions were huge for everything else. Sadly, I could not finish, but it definitely filled me up for the next several hours. I wish I had room for one of their cheesecakes, which is displayed up front.Pretty big place with plenty of parking outside. Highly recommended!“
“Visiting town for a few days and family recommended the diner. Food was spot on, fast, hot, and tasty. Our server Austin was quick and gave us just enough attention. My only comment was the noise in the place. We were trying to catch up with family, and the noise just kept us from hearing each other. Other than that, a place I’d certainly come back to for a drink or good meal.Update: We enjoyed last night so much, decided to come back tonight. What a difference between servers, appetizer came out with dinner even though she asked if we wanted it first, same drink tonight was twice the price, server wouldn’t close out the ticket so had to wait in line for 20 minutes, and finally wanted 4 cookies to go, cashier refused and I needed to purchase a full pound. Well no cookies, and server got no tip.“
