“I've been wanting to come here for so long, and for my Morris county friends who grew up in the Italian triangle (Belleville Bloomfield nutley) this is the best kept secret. This is the real deal, they even have nastos desserts from Newark. Super happy to order Easter pies from here and they stock my beloved San bernadetto iced tea! Owner and his family are super sweet and friendly.“

“I love coming to this deli. Sonia always greets me when I walk through the door and remembering what I love to have the Taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll nothing on it. I went enough times to adj for just my usual and it's so respectful and enjoyable to hear them remember you and what you love to eat. The prices have kept inching up over the months, but I loved coming here now and then to keep enjoying my favorite sandwiches and supporting this friendly and wonderful business. This place went through 2 owner changes before it was stephs deli. Overall whenever I'll go to school or work and I need a quick breakfast I'll turn to stephs deli. Thank you my friends!!“
“My husband loves this place's food. Everything we've tried, from the kielbasa to the pie rogues has been fresh tasting and delicious! Cat attest to the service as I've never been in, but haven't heard any complaints! Will have to stop by myself soon.“

“I cannot say more about how happy and easy going the atmosphere and service of this place is. Each time we dine in, it’s like walking into our home with the family. The food is great, always conversations happening and friendly staff, no matter how early or late in the afternoon you go.Parking: Parking is available on street or back of place.Kid-friendliness: Area is small but able for kids to watch the tv or sit comfortably.“
“Eric's is exactly what it needs to be, a solid tasty local no frills deli. The food is fast, fresh, and by no means expensive. I've been in a few times now and had nothing be good food for breakfast and lunch. They scratch the itch when I just want a quick tasty to-go sandwich.“
“Highly recommend. You get a lot of sandwich for your money, the roast beef is to die for (cooked in house) and all of the produce/meat is fresh and from top brands. Friendly staff and a wide variety of spirits and beers makes for a great stop before a night out!“
“I had a spinich/mozzarella omelette w/ side of sausage, home fries and toast. It was fantastic; fluffy eggs, not over done at all. 2 large, tasty sausage patties. This meal is like $7 or $8 more at other diners. Exceeded expectations on price, taste, portion and quality. I will absolutely return to try something off the lunch menu soon.“
“My wife and I were looking to get our reception party catered. After the first attempt at one deli, we decided to look elsewhere and stumbled upon Summit and Main. We are so glad we did. From the day of ordering to pick up everything went smooth. My wife and mother in law were sat down and went over menu, and all of our questions were answered. They suggested their best sellers and how much of everything to order. Everything was a hit and everyone loved the food. We can not recommend Summit and Main enough. The roast beef sliders are out of this world. If you're looking to cater a party wedding birthday etc, look no further.“

“Absolutely awesome little deli. I love the comic book decorations. They always have great music playing.House made smoked brisket is phenomenal. It makes it hard to try other sandwiches. I finally broke my trend and tried the Ranchero. It did not disappoint!Every sandwich is made with the utmost care and love. It's hard to explain, but it makes a difference.“

“we were lucky to try the Colombian-Costa Rican lentil soup at this Restaurant, and it was simply spectacular. The blend of flavors and texture , with ingredients like yuca, created a delicious experience. The touch of Cilantro added freshness and flavor. This soup is undoubtedly a culinary gem worth trying.Parking: there is public parking in area“
“I’ve gotten lunch here before and it has been phenomenal. Coupled great food with their service, leads me to come back here. Point in case, I’m sitting here waiting for a breakfast order. They’re remaking my chocolate chip pancakes (for my nephew), because THEY determined it wasn’t fluffy enough — show me another establishment which strives to go above and beyond. It further attests to their level of service and quality of food they strive for. This is why I love small businesses like Sheimer’s.“

“we've lived about a 15 minute walk away for over 27 years. this place has never gone down in quality. my son grew up loving the Reuben's and now lives in CA and still heads there for a Reuben whenever he comes home. It's his first food stop on his eating tour of NJ every trip. Honestly, every sandwich we've had is fantastic and good value in a small, overpriced town. Impressed with the consistency. It isn't fancy but the quality is there.“
“This place is a gem. Well priced and many options for a quick, grab n' go breakfast, lunch, or snack. You can get hot coffee, hot or cold sandwiches, a variety or sides including tuna and salad. The owners are very pleasant and fast with orders. Place is small but functional and clean. Reminds me of a New York corner store. 5 stars! Highly recommend.“

“I was in the area and decided to stop in for a sub. My bf has been coming here for years and swears by this deli as one of the best around. This mom and pop deli is not much to look at from the outside. They have free parking out front with several spots they share with another business.Once inside you can see why they call this place The Parsippany Deli/ Emerald Gifts aka The Irish Deli.As soon as you walk in the front door, they have a glass counter that displays beautiful China from Ireland. They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread. As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus. The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering. They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs. This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite. When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later. My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. Macaroni and Potato Salad. The macaroni was my favorite. It was rich and creamy.I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointedParking: They share the spaces with another business. It doesn’t seem to be a problem to park“
“You simply can't call this joint a grocery store! It's a compact gourmet Italian market/sandwich shop/catering space/coffee break. Ordered 2 Artista salads for lunch - 1 with sliced grilled chicken, 1 with sliced breaded chicken on the side. That salad was so fresh, light, filling and really delicious with the vinaigrette dressing. The rustic croutons added substance and a nice crunchy contrast to the leafy arugula. Assuming the croutons were made at the shop. A very nice change from the "normal" salads in the area. I think I found my local go-to spot! Also a spontaneous splurge on the twice-baked biscotti! Sizeable portion, not too dense and delightfully crispy. I didn't feel so guilty eating so many as they were not overly sweet. Would have gone great with coffee! (See my staged photo of those delicious biscottis)The location is a beautiful historic yellow home turned salumeria. I almost drove past it until realizing I arrived!“
“Great food, well priced, friendly staff. Never had bad food. Call ahead. They do get busy and sometimes pays off to call ahead than order at the location and have to wait longer depending on the time of day. Order before 11 am or after 1 pm and usually you are in and out pretty quickly.“
“This Deli is the 'Real Deal', for sure. The meats like Roast Beef, Pastrami, and Corned Beef are all prepared fresh and are mouth-watering delicious! I have enjoyed every homemade side salad available, too! The portions are overly generous, and this is coming from someone who can eat a lot! The soups here are excellent, as well! I highly recommend you check out this special little Deli because I'm sure it will quickly become a favorite!“

“When they say simple is the best, this place hits the mark. Ordered a bacon, egg, cheese bagel and a regular ham/salami cheese sandwhich. Both were great, simple, good ingredients, pefect proportions, and prices were affordable as well. People inside were kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.“
