“Moved to Lake Hopatcong less than a year ago and still exploring the area. Went to McKenna's for the first time. What a welcoming atmosphere. Food was good, people were very friendly. Bob, the owner, bought a round of drinks and Kim, the bartender, was attentive and personable. 5 stars all around! Will definitely go back.“
“We eat here regularly. Always get seated promptly. Friendly host and servers. The food is fresh and hot. Traditional Irish fare and American standards. I do not drink, but friends say the beer selection is fine. I definitely recommend this restaurant.Parking: Street parking on Denville Bloomfield Avenue is sometimes challenging. If you park on Main Street, behind the restaurant, use the rear entrance.“
“I’ve been to a lot of pubs on the east coast, but this one is special. Authentic pieces of Ireland inside and the atmosphere puts you setting in a pub in Dublin.Great place and staff. Food was fresh and served proper. We had the Rusty Irishman drink “ like an old fashioned” and came back a second day to enjoy another round. Great place to rest up and enjoy the east coast before headed into the city. I would recommend a stop and rest over.“
“The food was great, didn't want to eat at the mall all the junk food. So, we went to this place . The wings were amazing 1000 percent recommended!! I had the chicken parm REALLY GOOD. My kids both had the steak tacos and loved them. The food is fresh taste so good u can taste the homemade high-quality cooking. The staff was so friendly and funny !! This place should have a line out the door!“
“Surprisingly good Irish food. We stopped in on a random Wednesday night while staying in the area. There was some bingo going on and it was not very crowded. I always feel the need to try corned beef or a Reuben any time I visit any Irish eatery. I asked the server how the Reuben egg rolls (yes Reuben egg rolls!) were and she said they are a big hit. So I got those as an appetizer and they were very good and something very unique. I also had the burger with corned beef on it and it was cooked perfect and the corned beef had just the right amount of tang to it. My daughter loved her fries and mozzarella sticks and filled up on those before she even got to try her Mac and cheese. Overall the food was delicious, the server was incredibly friendly and helpful and was extremely patient with a 4 year old that was a bit fussy from traveling all day. I'll certainly return the next time I'm in the area.“
“We love love love this place. We go there often. The food, the service, the take out, not crowded generally, more like locals and locals generally go where food is good and affordable. French onion soup, Great burgers, chicken franchise, fish and chips, pizza, hangar steak, dessert, haven’t had a bad meal there yet.Parking: Enough“

“Love this place! Wish I found it sooner! The food is amazing! The staff, decor and clientele make this a special local pub. Feels like the show “Cheers”! Will bring my friends next time.Parking: Small parking behind building, plenty on street“
