“I've wanted to try gelato for the longest time but had no idea where to begin, especially given the abundance of options in NYC. Thankfully, I came across a fellow Yelp friend's glowing review of Figo and knew this was just the place. We came on a dreary day, and there were no customers when we arrived, but honestly, I was too excited to care. The interior was cute and green and gave major spring forest vibes. I did my research so I knew exactly what I wanted. My sister, on the other hand, contemplated between pistachio and caffè and ended up going with the latter. Their prices have risen slightly. It's now $7.50 (instead of $6) for a regular cup of gelato, with up to 2 flavors. The portions are huge though, so two people can easily share a cup. * Ferrero Rocher I was dead set on ordering this flavor, and it was everything I imagined it to be. Sweet, smooth, rich, and creamy, with blended Ferrero Rocher bits. I found an almost whole Ferrero Rocher piece at the bottom of my cup and loved the added crunch. * Caffè Absolutely divine and exactly how I like my coffee. This flavor perfectly balanced the sweet and creamy elements of gelato with the rich and subtle, bitter notes of dark roast coffee. Highly recommend!“

“BEST BUTTERCREAM PASTRY IN NYC. HANDS DOWN.The Lychee Raspberry Cake/Confection is like a drug addiction! OMG. PUre ingredients smell so good. The shop is small and unbecoming, the drip coffee is awesome, and OMG the pastries.....I've tried other brands...(mag*ia, Lad*m, citarella etc) and the pure quality of ingredients plus creative tastes, here is hands down better. These are truly unique pastries.“

“I love the selection of goods here for offer. Particularly the croissants and chouquettes. But I find some of the staff off putting when I don’t tip at the end of a transaction. Like when stopping in for a baguette. I mean I ask for one, they literally turn around to get it and hand it to me and expect a tip for this service? How about the owners pay their staff a better wage and eliminate the tip?“

“They open at 7. The google listing is wrong.Their chocolate croissant was heavenly. It's so airy yet so crispy. 10/10. 3.90 is a good price for what it is.They do bake almond croissants once in a while. It's not on the menu, though. The frangipane did have a strong almond after taste, which indicates the use of some kind of almond essence. 8/10.“

“I ordered a Peter Rabbit cake (last minute) and they were able to accommodate the request - it was such a beautiful cake, but more importantly, the most delicious cake! “Tried this place after searching for some of the best croissants. You can walk down church with your eyes closed and the smell will guide you right inside. The gentleman who greeted us was super friendly and welcoming. We got a couple plain croissants and an almond croissant just because it looked delicious. We got to work on the almond croissant the minute we walked out of the door. I've never been to France but I can't imagine almond croissants getting much better than this. Wonderful texture and a delicious flavor. The plain croissants were also on point. That almond one was the star though. I'll be back for more of those and definitely to try some other goodies. “What a treat! I am so grateful to Tiara for the wonderful low carb yumminess she produces! Fresh ingredients, and so much flavor! I need to try the ice cream next. Don't let the size of the shop fool you. It may be tiny, but there is a lovely variety of stuff that will blow your mind. And before you look at the prices, consider that low carb ingredients are extremely expensive, as is overhead in this neighborhood. You will be very happy with the food; both sweet and savory options. Supporting this business means that it can stick around, and there aren't many of its kind!“

Everything I have ordered is on point and as I ordered. I like the ham and cheese really hot; they always get it right.Pastries, breads, sodas, coffee bar and cakes are fully stocked, well organized and set on a clean glass.Food and drinks are prepared fresh and as ordered. Sit down areas and restrooms are clean and fully stocked as well.Lady making cakes are so meticulous and precise in decorating the cakes and pastries. “I first had Ladurée in Paris, so when I got home and found that there were a couple shops in NYC, I knew where to go for my macaron fix. This location is small, but charming. If I'm in the area for a museum or shopping, I will stop by, especially to see what seasonal flavors are on the menu. They have a very tiny seating area off to the side (as well as some outdoor seating during nice weather) for afternoon tea. It's cute and cozy, but the staff is often very busy and since they accommodate both the counter as well as the seating area, service can sometimes be slow if there are a lot of people waiting. But, I'm so glad we have a local Ladurée...which reminds me, I'm craving macarons!“

“All I can say is that you must go there and taste their pastry yourself. So far I have been using their services for over a year and I never got disappointed. I buy birthday cakes for each of my staff members for their birthday and it gets better and better each time. I also buy their croissants Yummy. The staff is very friendly, the owner is so professional and helpful, many times he accepted my last minute order or changes and finished them in time and the best part is their coffee. I definitely recommend this place 5 ⭐️ over all from goods to customer service to staff member to hygiene and to location as well and if I am not wrong they just open a 4th location.“

“I was a little worried I wouldn't be full from the afternoon tea, but I was (happily) proven wrong! I came here for their Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea set and had a lovely time sampling so many different snacks! The space itself is a bit small, but they have a lot going on besides the afternoon tea. They also do cake making classes in the back, which you can sort of see through their window, and they sell their pastries up at the front. Now comes the food! You choose a tea and a few of the cakes or mouses and they bring everything in a 3 tiered tray. There were items like croissants, cherry blossom cookies, macarons, quiches, cakes and mini sandwiches. My favorites were the cherry blossom cookie, salmon and dill sandwich and chicken pate! I think there was a lot of sweets and I'm personally more of a savory person but this was delicious! I actually got really full and couldn't finish everything but luckily, we were allowed to take it back and it was packaged very carefully in a nice box. I loved how the sweets weren't overwhelmingly sweet and they were so beautifully crafted. The only downside for me was that the quiches tasted a bit dry and I wish they came out warm and more runny. Other than that, this experience was very fun and delicious. I'm looking forward to returning for their regular afternoon tea as well!“

“Finally after several attempts I came here in proper hours (they close early). They get the second batch out of the oven around 12.30. We had a cheddar scone (the best I ever had) and basque galette (I did not get it, but it was decent). They don't make the famous pistachio cake anymore:( The service is very customer oriented.There is no seating so we took our pastries to Usagi nearby who serve the most amazing matcha.“

“The ice cream from Milk Bar is absolutely divine! ? I first discovered it a few years ago during a trip to New York, and it instantly became a must-try after seeing it on television. Since then, I've been unable to get it out of my mind. Recently, I discovered that a Target store just an hour away from my home carries Milk Bar ice cream, particularly the Cereal Milk flavor, which is incredibly delicious. It's so good that I don't mind driving an hour and a half just to buy it. And today, I'm back in New York, and my first stop is, of course, Milk Bar.“

“Stopped by to get this pudding with strawberry popping boba and it was delicious. The pudding was not so sweet but when eaten with the boba made it delicious and meld perfectly. I also got a mango pudding, which was also amazing. It had crisp and fresh mango pieces in a mango puree than when well with the not so sweet pudding. The staff was friendly and you can sit there and eat. The place was clean and everything looked fresh. I will have to return and get the pudding again.“

“Staff was friendly and courteous, I wasn’t prepared for the self serve pastry displays and somebody was immediately ready to help point out the trays and tissue. The display was full of delicious looking treats. I chose to get a croissant and two mochi donuts, one strawberry and one biscoff. They were indeed delicious. “On Sunday February 25th, 2024, at around 6:15PM, I stopped by with my son to buy a croissant. When we reached the cashier, a young boy started serving us. Suddenly, his coworker approached the cashier and asked the young boy to move. She spoke to the boy disrespectfully and completely shoved him away while he was serving us. She instructed him in a disrespectful manner to clean the coffee container until he felt comfortable being at the cashier. I am bringing this up for you to take into consideration regarding people who have just started a new job. The job itself can be stressful, and additionally, if someone who is still learning has a coworker who cannot empathize with their situation, it can be detrimental, especially when done in front of customers. Moreover, I did not notice that my son observed what happened, and he is the one who, on our way home, told me about the situation, which made it even more concerning. My son is 12 years old and can pick up on these things.“

“I come Paris baguette very often not only here ( usually everyone) but first time visit here today it was good. specially service. Guy today!! Some franchise place are terrible. Like not listen customer, talk to other worker,hiding add tips if I said no need receipt or Iclean enough etc... but here is only 1 worker at cashier but he managed beautifully! . He isn't smile but it's ok this is NYC. Some baked goods has tag for when they baked ! Its good to know !! I really like here I will come back very soon ..“

“The desserts here are amazing!!! We got a pecan brownie, the key lime cake, and a triple chocolate mousse cake, plus a cappuccino and a mocha latte. All this for about $25. Great prices, and the ambiance is quiet and chill on a Saturday late night. Will definitely come back for coffee and treats!!“

“First and foremost this is my absolute favorite Location to get my pastries from and my coffee. The staff is incredible, but I need to talk about my experience today and how moved I was. Today a woman walks in behind me who was clearly homeless and disabled, but absolutely harmless— she asked some people for help, and as I was offering to purchase her a meal, a customer very aggressively goes up to her shoos her away and tells her her odor is horrible and she needs to leave and get out of there. She did not deserve to get mistreated at all, so of course I went ahead and offered to get her her meal and a treat. Jay, An employee that was restocking the fridge, Witnessed this interaction and told her she can get what she wants and he will pay for it with his own money, instead of me. He informed me that she was going to forget in just a few seconds (I believe she might be a regular and suffers from dementia or something of the sort). She did forget and came back up to me and asked me for help again so the staff and I helped lead her to her meal, handing it to her. I believe Jay told the manager that he was going to pay for her meal, and instead the manager paid on his card. Act of kindness, like this, will keep me coming back again, and again, and again. I sat back and talked to the staff, overwhelmingly, thanking them for their acts of kindness & not furthering my treatment of this vulnerable woman. I talked to Luis, the manager and Jay, and they are absolutely lovely people who both deserve a raise, a promotion, or reward of some sort. ❤️ kindness truly is contagious“
