“Clippers coffee is a delight! A true gem of the Bronx and of City Island. All the staff there are super friendly, and their menu items are wonderful! If you go try their jumbo chocolate chip cookie, there are very few cookies that can beat it!“
“It’s clean, organized, and well presented. I visited the store on a random stormy Saturday afternoon and decided to taste their flan. WOWWWW ????????????!! I could say that food is an experience and especially this desert. The flan ???? is on point here! Now I understand why people make lines to get into this bakery during the holidays..I will be soon trying another few other deserts and leave another update. But I would recommend to definitely try the flan ????????????????“
“Love their desserts and presentationsTried the filled chocolate eggs for the first time and ordered a couple boxes to give as presents to some clients but unfortunately they did not really love them that much other than, that they do love their tres leches and their cheesecakes and other desserts and so do I ?I feel like customer service is so much better in other locations - I have passed by this specific location a couple of times because one of the offices where I work is nearby and I just pass by to get some desserts for a couple of workers - I wouldnt really go to this specific location for any other reason ??♀️“
“Everything is good here, and always fresh. They have a variety of donuts- both yeast and cake. Wonderful breakfast items, and I love their rolls and/or bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese( delicious). Coffee is bold and flavorful, and customer service is friendly and fast. Family owned business and a staple in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Stop by and try their goodies out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.“
“I've wanted to try gelato for the longest time but had no idea where to begin, especially given the abundance of options in NYC. Thankfully, I came across a fellow Yelp friend's glowing review of Figo and knew this was just the place. We came on a dreary day, and there were no customers when we arrived, but honestly, I was too excited to care. The interior was cute and green and gave major spring forest vibes. I did my research so I knew exactly what I wanted. My sister, on the other hand, contemplated between pistachio and caffè and ended up going with the latter. Their prices have risen slightly. It's now $7.50 (instead of $6) for a regular cup of gelato, with up to 2 flavors. The portions are huge though, so two people can easily share a cup. * Ferrero Rocher I was dead set on ordering this flavor, and it was everything I imagined it to be. Sweet, smooth, rich, and creamy, with blended Ferrero Rocher bits. I found an almost whole Ferrero Rocher piece at the bottom of my cup and loved the added crunch. * Caffè Absolutely divine and exactly how I like my coffee. This flavor perfectly balanced the sweet and creamy elements of gelato with the rich and subtle, bitter notes of dark roast coffee. Highly recommend!“
“BEST BUTTERCREAM PASTRY IN NYC. HANDS DOWN.The Lychee Raspberry Cake/Confection is like a drug addiction! OMG. PUre ingredients smell so good. The shop is small and unbecoming, the drip coffee is awesome, and OMG the pastries.....I've tried other brands...(mag*ia, Lad*m, citarella etc) and the pure quality of ingredients plus creative tastes, here is hands down better. These are truly unique pastries.“
“I love the selection of goods here for offer. Particularly the croissants and chouquettes. But I find some of the staff off putting when I don’t tip at the end of a transaction. Like when stopping in for a baguette. I mean I ask for one, they literally turn around to get it and hand it to me and expect a tip for this service? How about the owners pay their staff a better wage and eliminate the tip?“
“Stepping into Boleria is like being warmly embraced by a slice of Brazilian warmth right here in town. The ambiance is light and inviting, making it a perfect haven for anyone looking to work away from the office or home, thanks to the reliable WiFi.What sets Boleria apart for me, though, is the impeccable quality of their offerings. The coffee is nothing short of fantastic, a perfect companion to their array of delicious Brazilian desserts. The guava cheesecake is a standout, offering a taste of tropical paradise with every bite. And then there are the cheese balls – I must confess, I am absolutely obsessed with them, and for good reason; they’re a crowd favorite for their authentic flavor and perfect texture. But Boleria isn’t just about the sweets. Their traditional lunch offerings, like the freshly made soups and sandwiches, are a testament to their versatility and commitment to quality. Every dish feels like a labor of love, a piece of Brazilian culinary tradition served with care.I can’t recommend Boleria enough. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. It’s more than just a bakery; it’s a delightful experience that you’ll want to return to time and time again.“
“They open at 7. The google listing is wrong.Their chocolate croissant was heavenly. It's so airy yet so crispy. 10/10. 3.90 is a good price for what it is.They do bake almond croissants once in a while. It's not on the menu, though. The frangipane did have a strong almond after taste, which indicates the use of some kind of almond essence. 8/10.“
“Paris Baguette continues to impress with its consistent quality and freshness across all its locations. Whether you visit one of their many branches, the experience remains the same—a delightful array of desserts and teas that never disappoint. Each treat is packed with care, ensuring a delicious and satisfying experience every time.“
“Came here for a quick lunch. It was super busy but line moved fast! Everything here looked so delicious and fresh! I ordered a ham and cheese baguette and asked them to heat it up for me! Washed it down with an iced coffee! It was delicious! Service was great also! Paris baguette never disappoints!“
“very good yummy coffee, i got a caramel iced latte w oat milk , & an horchata iced latte both were very good, next time i’d try a latte with horchata & caramel bc very yummy. tried the cinnamon roll pastry, it was okay, the end got very good though. service was nice & music in cafe was calming - good place to do “
“What a treat! I am so grateful to Tiara for the wonderful low carb yumminess she produces! Fresh ingredients, and so much flavor! I need to try the ice cream next. Don't let the size of the shop fool you. It may be tiny, but there is a lovely variety of stuff that will blow your mind. And before you look at the prices, consider that low carb ingredients are extremely expensive, as is overhead in this neighborhood. You will be very happy with the food; both sweet and savory options. Supporting this business means that it can stick around, and there aren't many of its kind!“
“I came across this bakery last minute and omg !! I absolutely fell in love with the decor when I went to pick up my cake. They were super sweet and professional. I absolutely loved how my cake turned out. I highly recommend. Definitely ordering from them again.“
“We went at the very end of the day so there were not many desserts left. We ordered the peach oolong crepe cake, lemon-shaped dessert, strawberry mousse cake in a jar, blueberry cake, and ube bisque cheesecake. Everything is so light and delicious! Nothing felt too heavy or overly sweet. I loved all the desserts. The price point is on the more expensive side but the quality is really good. My favorite were the peach oolong crepe and lemon dessert“
“I first had Ladurée in Paris, so when I got home and found that there were a couple shops in NYC, I knew where to go for my macaron fix. This location is small, but charming. If I'm in the area for a museum or shopping, I will stop by, especially to see what seasonal flavors are on the menu. They have a very tiny seating area off to the side (as well as some outdoor seating during nice weather) for afternoon tea. It's cute and cozy, but the staff is often very busy and since they accommodate both the counter as well as the seating area, service can sometimes be slow if there are a lot of people waiting. But, I'm so glad we have a local Ladurée...which reminds me, I'm craving macarons!“
“This Paris baguette (w58th and 10th) - THE BEST!! The second you walk in staff greets and acknowledges you!! You’re asked if you need anything heated up, pastries and/ or drink. Everything I have ordered is on point and as I ordered. I like the ham and cheese really hot; they always get it right.Pastries, breads, sodas, coffee bar and cakes are fully stocked, well organized and set on a clean glass.Food and drinks are prepared fresh and as ordered. Sit down areas and restrooms are clean and fully stocked as well.Lady making cakes are so meticulous and precise in decorating the cakes and pastries. It’s always so nice to see them being done. This location is one of my favorite. Love Paris baguette!!Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
“Highly recommend, place has awesome vibes, delicious gelato (I'd recommend the chocolate or hazelnut especially), and looks beautiful! Everyone was super friendly there as well. 100% would suggest for coffee, a quiet drink, or dessert.“
“Totally came here by accident as I was looking for something to feed to my 15month old son. As he devours croissants I thought this might be a good place. I was stunned by the variety of items and look of this cute bakery. The ladies working here are Angels and so unbelievably friendly I don't have words. I will definitely come back!“
“I ordered the flower birthday cake for my niece’s 17th birthday! It turned out beautiful and she was so happy. They included the cake cutter, candles, and a mirror round plate saying happy birthday. Thanks for making her feel special. It tasted great, with fresh strawberries, vanilla cake, and light cream, not too sweet.“
“Ecstasy for the palette! The combos of sweet and savory are impeccably balanced! Everything melts in your mouth, with the emotion of wanting more… Also challenging is figurout which dessert creation to try fist and more importantly, which one will be the last, to keep the unique flavors as long as possible!“
“This is a picture perfect spot on the Market Line at Essex Market. A quaint spot to have a seat, a coffee, a drink & or pastry. The choice is yours. The service is attentive, laid back, and welcoming. I'll be back to try more options!“
“Stopped by @cocotaso for lunch a month ago came back to have a podcast meeting. The food is amazing. True traditional Puerto Rican cuisine- The ambience is warm like a hug from your family and chef Frances is a rockstar. Going back for roast pork & flan ??“
“This place is incredible. The quality is equal to that of the best boulangeries in Paris. The everything croissant is what I dream about every day. The chocolate fondant “muffin” is perfection. The lentil soup is also exceptionally good: savory and satisfying. The staff is friendly. Frenchy is the only cafe in the surrounding area and I’m so glad they’re in the neighborhood. Super high quality pastries and service.“
“I was a little worried I wouldn't be full from the afternoon tea, but I was (happily) proven wrong! I came here for their Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea set and had a lovely time sampling so many different snacks! The space itself is a bit small, but they have a lot going on besides the afternoon tea. They also do cake making classes in the back, which you can sort of see through their window, and they sell their pastries up at the front. Now comes the food! You choose a tea and a few of the cakes or mouses and they bring everything in a 3 tiered tray. There were items like croissants, cherry blossom cookies, macarons, quiches, cakes and mini sandwiches. My favorites were the cherry blossom cookie, salmon and dill sandwich and chicken pate! I think there was a lot of sweets and I'm personally more of a savory person but this was delicious! I actually got really full and couldn't finish everything but luckily, we were allowed to take it back and it was packaged very carefully in a nice box. I loved how the sweets weren't overwhelmingly sweet and they were so beautifully crafted. The only downside for me was that the quiches tasted a bit dry and I wish they came out warm and more runny. Other than that, this experience was very fun and delicious. I'm looking forward to returning for their regular afternoon tea as well!“
“Finally after several attempts I came here in proper hours (they close early). They get the second batch out of the oven around 12.30. We had a cheddar scone (the best I ever had) and basque galette (I did not get it, but it was decent). They don't make the famous pistachio cake anymore:( The service is very customer oriented. There is no seating so we took our pastries to Usagi nearby who serve the most amazing matcha.“
“Beautiful place! Tried the tiramisu cheesecake sandwich and it was delicious! Definitely something I never thought of before. With different flavors to choose from, it’s a crime not many people know about this place. The lady was super friendly and kind! Her grandma recipe is definitely a hidden gem!“
“Love this place ! Wish I knew about this place sooner honestly. The communication is 10/10 and the cakes were sooooo good, so soft and moist ! I'm a vegan and been a vegan my whole life and my family is really used to buying cakes from the same places and the cakes are never fancy looking, no designs nothing really with character, also sometimes very dry or hard or just straight up bland ! But this place omg !! Great all around love how they have different designs for vegan cakes and not just 1 ! I feel so inclusive for once by having a nice looking cake for my birthday & the pricing wasn't bad at all !!! I got a vintage pink heart cake for my birthday on January 19th and my lil sisters birthday was on the 23rd so we also got her a cake but it was a Valentine's Day cake turned into a birthday cake ! And my family loved both cakes !! Thank you for making our birthdays extra special this year !Vegetarian options: The website has all the vegan options !“
“Our recent stop at a cozy café left us thoroughly impressed! The enticing aroma of freshly baked croissants and the comforting scent of brewed coffee welcomed us inside. Indulging in the flaky, buttery croissants paired with a steaming cup of rich, aromatic coffee was a delightful experience. Adding Earl Grey tea to our order enhanced the morning treat with its delicate flavor and soothing warmth. With friendly service and a cozy atmosphere, it's become our new favorite spot for a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend giving it a try!“
“The ice cream from Milk Bar is absolutely divine! ? I first discovered it a few years ago during a trip to New York, and it instantly became a must-try after seeing it on television. Since then, I've been unable to get it out of my mind. Recently, I discovered that a Target store just an hour away from my home carries Milk Bar ice cream, particularly the Cereal Milk flavor, which is incredibly delicious. It's so good that I don't mind driving an hour and a half just to buy it. And today, I'm back in New York, and my first stop is, of course, Milk Bar.“
“always delicious and fresh baked goods. There are not only sweet croissants, but also croissants with cheese and other fillings.not bad coffee and hot chocolate. The establishment is not always clean; sometimes there are no napkins.but despite this, I return to this place for delicious puff pastries.“
“All I can say is wow and yum ???? after living 60 years in the community just happen to come in to this quaint bakery two very precious young ladies assisted me with my order April & Talia were incredibly nice. But when I had their creamy pastry and coffee I knew that this was my go to for fresh pastry I had to give the owner my compliments . I was told that the pastries are made fresh everyday . No wonder . The flow of customers is just wonderful so happy to know that East Harlem has such a great bakery now my go to spot for sweets and great coffee .“
“I can not recommend one thing in particular!! Everything is amazingly delicious, even tastier and fresher that I found in Romania’ cofetarii ! Visited past weekend from DC and had a hard time deciding over what to buy. Got almost one of most of them and now I wish I bought more. For me, the best bakery in US!“
“What a cute little bakery! Reminds me of Paris Baguette. Smaller though, but similar baked goods. The only difference was this ube latte, i really loved it, I know its just milk and probably ube syrup but it was so so good. I made the mistake of adding espresso to it so it didnt taste like ube anymore lol its very lightly ube, but you can still taste it. Service was good, not many people were there, it was early. It is right by work so i love giving myself a little treat every now and then. Would definitely be back to try the other stuff.“
“The attention to detail on my daughter's birthday cake exceeded our expectations. Not only was it gorgeous, it tasted delicious. I did not request the ombré and can't imagine the work that went into making each layer. The chocolate cake was so good and the doll was neatly tucked inside. Everyone at the party was impressed.“
“A fortunate array of sweet treats centered on sweet cream cheese. A number of delicious and unique pastry products it’s hard to find anywhere else, and some classic innovations on the tried and true to boot. Perfectly balanced textures, tartness, and tang. Flavors beyond sugar do the talking. Well worth the trip when you’re eating in Koreatown.“
“The spot looks cool for the location, def one of those trendier places in the neighborhood. But you're in the heart of east Harlem and the competition is real with these hidden gem bodegas. An authentic local is going elsewhere. Had a bacon egg and cheese and it was definitely tasty, but could use more egg for sure. If you want a different spot to try, why not? Everyone deserves a shot.“
“Stopped by to get this pudding with strawberry popping boba and it was delicious. The pudding was not so sweet but when eaten with the boba made it delicious and meld perfectly. I also got a mango pudding, which was also amazing. It had crisp and fresh mango pieces in a mango puree than when well with the not so sweet pudding. The staff was friendly and you can sit there and eat. The place was clean and everything looked fresh. I will have to return and get the pudding again.“
“In Yonkers town, stands a bakery so fine, Delite Bakery, a true gem, aged like wine. For over 80 years, it's been a delight, Bringing joy to all, morning, noon, and night. I sampled their treats, oh what a sight, Rainbow cookies, a colorful flight. Blueberry turnovers, bursting with flavor, Apple turnovers, a sweet endeavor. But wait, there's more, a furry friend's plea, Liberty the dog, wagging with glee. She loved the treats, oh what a sight, At Delite Bakery, where everything's just right. So if you're in Yonkers, don't pass it by, Delite Bakery, a five-star supply!“
“Staff was friendly and courteous, I wasn’t prepared for the self serve pastry displays and somebody was immediately ready to help point out the trays and tissue. The display was full of delicious looking treats. I chose to get a croissant and two mochi donuts, one strawberry and one biscoff. They were indeed delicious. Highly recommend the strawberry mochi donut, the strawberry flavor is strong but natural“
“I requested a solar system cake for our child's 4th birthday because he's been obsessed with planets, and Junction Cake Box did not disappoint!!! They did an amazing job!!! I used them for his 2nd birthday party and now for his 4th and will again for his next birthdays! Thank you so much!!!“
“I ordered an almond cake with almond filling and it was DELICIOUS!! This cake hands-down was one of the best almond cakes that I have ever tasted. The staff are super friendly and the prices are very resonable. I will definitely be ordering from them again.“
