My wife and I went for our anniversary and the food takes me back to the great Atlantic City restaurants my parents took me to as a child. The BEST sauce I have had in a long time. Nice size portions, great value, excellent service and cozy atmosphere. The owner, Angel, is a doll. Try them once and you will be back!“

“We have ordered from romans a number of times. never disappoints. the food is always better than the last time. the grandma style pizza is a delight to the taste buds, its just incredible a pizza, its very fresh tasting. the garlic knots are marvelous. they taste perfectly done, another one of our favs. The wraps are perfect, and we would say most people would like romans pizza house. the service is good, regardless of the reviews. the atmosphere is not the best, its kind of squished, and if their is a lot a people in the restaurant, it can get congested. better of going home and eating. overall, this place is a great option if you are in the area:)“

Every bite offers a new perspective in taste, its flavors taunt you to find them.I followed with the chicken curry as my entrée, selecting garlic mashed potaotes and saffron rice as sides.The garlic mashed potatoes are wonderful. They inspire a sense of nostalgic familiarity without being offensive in their originality. The handmade smoothness complements an intentional amount of texture so as not to become machined mush. As with all of Chef Muhammeds cusine, I find it difficult to stop myself from hastily devouring what's before me. Not doing so would prevent me from appreciating the lifetime of complexity he's created.Likewise, the saffron rice demands to be savored with patience. Those who dont risk missing the subtle entirety of an artisinally crafted spice blend. It pairs incredibly well with his sweet chicken curry, an entrée largely, regretfully unfamiliar to the American pallet.Chef Mohammeds culinary brilliance is on full display here. The natural heat that often accompanies curry is assuaged by the addition of coconut and raisens. It's not fully absent though. He's designed a dish that dances an ever so slight tinge of heat, perfectly moist tender chicken breast, and creamy sweetness into a flavorful ballet.I find it easy to describe every entrée here in similar light, they all embrace a unique gourmet vision. Golden Pyramid is both a treasure waiting to be discovered and one to be cherished by those who already have. “Supremely tasty food and very friendly staff! We had the Masala Fries, which were perfectly crisp and tossed with a flavorful blend of spices. The Chilli Chicken was served in a tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet sauce brimming with soy and fresh ginger. We also ordered Kheemo, a shredded egg dish served with rounds of toast on the side, and it was just as tasty as the other two. We’ll definitely be returning soon!“

“First time at this place tonight, I've been all over for pizza but this place here tops them all! I've learned they also have a place on the boardwalk AC which was rated number 1 out of 6 places that were tested! I'll never go anywhere else again, this was just a quick stop on the way home from work.... I found a pizza gold mine. Also it's not just the pizza, it's family owned & the owner I met tonight is one hell of a guy. Can't give this place enough credit. Class A Class A“

“It was very nice visit, server was very good! We sat at high tables in the bar area, The Ossobuco was delicious as was the grilled Mahi special. Steam clams appetizer was really good! Only disappointment was ceaser salad bottled dressing if I knew would of gotten blue cheese. Next time.Also got very loud party in a banquet room ended and the whole at least 100 people all crowded into the bar area, got very loud! Couldn't here D J anymore.“

“The food was very good even though it took a while to come out, but that meant it was cooked with extra care. The wait staff was very kind and attentive. In terms of atmosphere, it is very small, but I think they keep it that way for the local crowd.“

“I wanted to write a review for Nino's because I have established them as my pizzeria since moving down here 3 years ago.First off, the owners are the nicest, genuine people ever. I usually engage in small talk when i'm picking up a pie from them and I always get the impression that they know me and they appreciate my business.I usually just get a plain pie, sometimes I add stuff on it, but it is usually very good. I wouldn't say that there is anything particular about the pies that have a WOW factor, but on a scale of 1-10 I would give them a solid 7. All around, a very good quality pie.The only thing I would say negative about them, and hopefully if they read this, they take it as constructive criticism and not down talk at all, because overall I love these guys, but over the past couple of years I have consistently ordered, a handful of times, the pizza was a little inconsistent. I had a few dud pies.Overall, if you are in the area and are looking for a pizza, I would definitely recommend !“

“I have eaten at Jo-Ann’s many times over the years. My grandmother use to own the house right next door. I don’t eat there as much now but when I am in the area I try to stop in for some food. The owners are very nice I have talked to them many times and every time it’s a pleasure.I went in today April 17th and got myself a white pizza with broccoli. The pizza was as good as always. I think they could have put a little more broccoli on it but it was good regardless. They also do charge a 10% fee on the total of your order to help offset the rising costs. I don’t necessarily agree with this but it is posted as you walk in to let you know. I recommend Jo-Ann’s if your looking for good pizza.“

“So impressed, fresh quality ingredients. Upscale menu, but very reasonable prices. I ordered 2 dinners...buy one and get the 2nd half price with coupon. Chicken parm had great sauce, and cooked to perfection. The other dish was broccoli Rabe and sausage with canneloni beans. I've ordered this dish in many restaurants before. “I would give the food 3 stars and the service 5 stars. I have been to other Maplewood locations, but this was my first experience here. It is a nice restaurant. I didn't really see it as anything extremely fancy, but it was very comfortable. The garlic bread was excellent! Food was just ok. Lobster was kind of chewy, but decent. “I just want to say I went to Joes Maplewood for dinner last night which was a Friday night, with a friend and my sister and Lori the waitress was excellent. She was very attentive, friendly and never had to look for her to see when the next course was coming out. She was always smiling and very helpful with anything we requested. The food was so delicious from the soup of the day, lobster bites, steamed mussels, maplewood salad, to the salmon, egg plant parmigiana, and seafood pot pie, to the tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert.I just want to say when I return I will request Lori as my waitress.“

“Simply the best pie in town!!! I grew up in Absecon but don’t live there anymore. Every time I visit, I MUST order a pie from here. It’s incredible every time! Despite rising costs of pretty much everything these days, they do not skimp on ingredients here - tons of cheese, etc. The pie is simply done right with uncompromising quality.“

“Love the food and the service but today I was definitely disappointed when I ordered American hoagie dry with no onions or oregano, and when I went to eat it, what I had was an Italian hoagie with onions and oregano and oil since it was for my grandson I had to take it all apart and remove the spicy lunch meat onions ect defiantly disappointed ☹️“

Would recommend adding an order history to user who register an account online to help confirm that orders are placed as my first time trying to place the order the platform had a hiccup trying to load the payment screen and it cleared my order without placing it however everything worked fine on my second attempt. Delivery time to Travelodge was roughly an hour but I can't say much against that as the inn is in a very awkward area that requires the drives to go all the way through the edge of Absecon to get on rt 30 as the only other road to rt 30 from pleasantville is past the motel and is a one way ramp for entering/exiting AC via the highway. My first pizza arrived and the box was caved in on top as well as the pizza was handled a bit poorly as all the topping cheese and sauce had slid into one half of the pizza leaving the other half naked. I called to let them know what's up and got a replacement pizza which I greatly appreciate as this was my first meal in the last 3 days, thankfully some friends came through for me and sent me money to order some food. The Second pizza was handled perfectly looks and smells amazing while tasting even more amazing. Despite the longer than average delivery time the pizza wasn't cold at all perfect temperature. My large rice pudding dessert also tastes wonderful. All in all wonderful food, perfect customer service, I highly recommend if you're looking for a delicious local Italian restaurant that delivers the Jersey shore food experience ?“
